And 18 years ago I was in a parking lot saying goodnight to my girlfriend. As she was backing out of her parking space she was hit by someone doing at least 45 mph, whose bumper locked with hers, and dragged her truck through the parking lot while she was screaming and terrified until he dragged her over a curb which released her truck and he sped off. We called the police with a description. 4 officers were on scene in less than 5 minutes and they caught the guy not too far away, and charged him with hit and run + reckless driving. I guess my anecdotal experience means that every cop ever is awesome, huh?

Is this something that is prevalent in the law enforcement community? The buddy I know that drank the advocare Kool Aid is a cop. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

They're pretty enough. I've shot a couple of these and the bullets come out the other end just fine.

Last time I called 911 I told them they'd better get to my house before I do. They got there in minutes.

Last year was the first year I took my return and bought something nice. This year, and every year before, it goes into an account, just like it otherwise would if the IRS hadnt stole it. I agree, taxes shouldn't be taken out of one's paycheck. All Americans should have to write a check for what they owe at the end of the year. Things sure would change in regard to all these well intentioned bleeding hearts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

First you might want to read some literature on the scientific accuracy of the book. I read it too. A great read and very thought provoking. However, not rooted in reality. I'm not scientist and neither is the author of the book. Best you seek some neutral sources to challenge the claims made in the book in regard to the effectiveness of nukes (especially low yield NK nukes) detonated 25 miles above earth as well as how our grid, transportation means and modern electronics will react to an EMP of varying yields.
I just stated watching Deadwood last week. It's very good.
Another great series, but so dark I never approached my wife to watch it with me. It explores the notion that justice is relative, and goes so far as to state there is no thing as justice. That is a scary thing to ponder for folks who haven't seen the world outside of their protective bubble. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
The Army didn't trust us anymore......
As a senior NCO I led US and foreign troops in combat, free of any direct supervision other than my own. I fired my rifle, .50 cal machine gun, grenade launcher, threw frags and called for hellfire strikes, with missiles that cost more than the average house in Tennessee. Yet when on leave I had to fill out a 7 page risk assessment to drive back to my home state. I had to be lectured, like a child, on what not to do on the weekend. I couldn't so much as go on a simple PT jog without being wrapped in a friggin VS-17 panel without getting stopped by a half-wit E-9 who can't remember a time where people looked both ways for traffic. These are the measures that our zero defect military has taken, and the results are a bunch of helpless weaklings who aren't held accountable for their own f-ups. Instead there is a 15-6 to investigate how the command failed to take appropriate risk mitigation steps. America, this is the path of your armed forces. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Meh, looks like his douchey life is punishment enough. Plus he has to climb that mountain of Walmartian fatty every so often. I suppose if he suffers from little wiener syndrome to the point he has to fake being in the military, those big flabby thighs he has to put it between aren't helping the presentation of the goods. Like a Vienna sausage between two Christmas hams. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Haha, that is a funny picture right there. But seriously, killing Tyrion on Game of Thrones would be like killing Daryl on The Walking Dead. BTW, if they have killed Daryl don't say anything. I have to wait a few weeks before I can watch the rest of season 4. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
My three favorites are (In order) Ned, Arya, and The Hound. Believe it or not reading the books gives you a different input on Jamie Lannister. I liked him in the books.
I'm interested in seeing where The Hound goes as a character. I guess I left out the Little Lannister as one of my favorites. As characters go he isn't overly interesting, but he always has the best lines and brings a great deal of comedy relief with his observations in an otherwise brutal and serious show. If they kill him I may stops watching. Oh yeah, and if they do kill him, don't tell me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
My wife and I are also fans. I was surprised she would like it since its packed with blood, gore, violence and lots of boobies. Go figure!Strangely i cant convince her to watch the Sopranos which has about the same levels of all of the above.
Yes, but they don't speak in Ye Olde English accents in Sopranos. Plus the dudes on Game of Thrones are eye candy for chicks, whereas greaseball gangsters speaking in those awful NJ accents don't put most women into "drive". Kinda like the Spartacus series; it's pretty silly to me, but hey, it gets the motor running. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I miss XP. I was forced out of it over a year ago.

I think part of it too would be how the weapon is stored or abused. The G19 I had which had a guide road break apart had not been taken care of. I assume it was exposed to the elements quite a bit, such as extreme temps (high/low) and a lot of moisture. The plastic was so brittle when it came apart it made me question the materials used to make it. However, I haven't seen that in my personal G19 which has had a fair amount of rounds put through it.
