Clean up the flammable cr@p around you, and the fire won't get there.
If you've ever seen a house spontaneously catch on fire due to proximity of heat you'll understand that it isn't underbrush taking these homes. If you have trees anywhere near your home when a wildfire comes through, it can burn so hot that the structure will spontaneously combust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2.
Having done my share of craigslist deals I'm shocked by some people. It's almost like they want to be victims. I've had to explain to several people that I didn't want to meet at their house because it just wasn't safe for either of us.
I hate blaming the victim but folks need to be smart. A few years back I was buying a toddler playset off a Craigslist type site. The girl had me come over to her house to take a look at it and do the transaction. During our emails back and forth she divulged that her husband was deployed and she was by herself with the two kids. I could have been anyone. Maybe she had a neighbor or something on over watch, but still not smart to let strangers know all that stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3.
This year she has a group of kids that refuse to learn anything. They won't even try. Their parents do not care.
This is the crux of the education issue, not liberal teachers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Folks wear NYPD patches all the time in remembrance of 9/11. Don't see why wearing your buddy's would be different or in what scenario an LEO would give you a hard time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Llama or keltec

I have a Llama and used to own a P11. The Keltec is a little rough, but at least it will work. My Llama has more jam than Rosie O'Donnell's toes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I don't think these "can I shoot scenarios" are productive. It is quite simple: are you in reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm or that of others? I have no moral objection to shooting someone for breaking in, however, I don't want to deal with the legal issues resulting from a shoot if I can avoid it. I don't believe the question people should ask themselves is "can I shoot"; it should be "should I shoot." If you have to wonder if you "can" shoot, then the answer is you shouldn't. If you are in fear for your life or the life of a loved one, whether you can or can't is moot, is it not? When the alternative is death, what person would waste time considering what a jury will say? Not me. So these "can I shoot" scenarios are, in my opinion, a display of a trigger happy mentality. Not that the death of a criminal would bother me, I just think folks need to understand what they're actually asking when these threads come up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10.
TMF. Seriously... The guy asked if you could use a 223 to kill a hog. No question. It can be done. I've done it. Seen it done, and seen them drop as fast as using an elephant gun. It is not cruel to kill a hog with the right 223 bullet, not a 55gr fmj for example. And in my statement above, I doubt getting gut shot by a 50 cal would be a slow death. My guess is, you have little, to no hog hunting in your life. Since Knoxville and East Tn is covered up with them, why not give it a try.
My comment was specific to your attitude towards needless suffering of an animal. You know nothing about me. I could care less what someone uses to kill animals, so long as it is humane and doesn't result in unnecessary suffering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The minimum number of orders has been met, so for those of you still who want in on this payments must be to me this week, they need to be paid by Friday morning as I will be sending the money off Friday afternoon to Pro Tech
Are you going to be back in the states? Is this paypal only then, or do you have an admin section at living room HQ who can verify money orders or personal checks sent via mail? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Best way not to get shot? Don't break into people's homes. He committed a crime by dispatching these two POS's. Sentence should be time served. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Had this happen in my dodge... twice. Sucks trying to make your way out of traffic whilst coasting, especially with no one willing to let you through.
  14. So the catch to buying these would be supporting a drug habit and theft. No thanks.
  15. Anyone who has participated in modern combatives has been choked out and has choked out others. I've only had to choke out one person off the mat, and it was a good friend of mine. A hell of a lot safer for both parties than beating someone unconscious or into submission.

    My new Toy!

I ended up with one of those MSARs that group like crap. I'm probably going to dump it for a Tavor as they come down on price. I bought the MSAR to replace my AR as a primary, but it doesn't come close to the same ballpark for accuracy. Willis, how does that thing group for you?
  17.
Any business that actually runs by logic must have decided if they post it will make more money than if they don't -- I honestly don't think many even uber liberals do it out of principle over profit. - OS
Knowing this is anecdotal, there is a restaurant in Cville that wouldn't let police officers dine there, because they were armed. 18.
The ones that post in other states have to have a bit of backbone to enforce it. Here, they can simply make a discreet phone call. That's why I think there would be an increase in posting, as antis simply see more guns on hips -- and don't even have to speak to the person doing it, let alone sign a complaint or testify. - OS
I guess you have to crawl inside the mind of a liberal pantswetter to understand their logic. 19.
Because TN is one of the 2 or 3 states that actually has an automatic penalty for violation. The psychology being, hey it's against state law this way, I don't have to confront anyone to tell them to leave, easy peasy. Unlike with concealed carry, folks open carrying and ignoring signs might generate a huge uptick in folks being convicted for it as it only takes a phone call, and no doubt whether one is carrying or not. - OS
Yeah, the law sucks, but I don't see how passing OC sans permit would result in more posted businesses than any other state with permitless OC. 20.
Well, actually could have gotten it back had that been my um...only legal problem and acted on it right away ... like I said, long story. - OS
Glaucoma medication? Haha. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21.
So, you've made you choice... live with it. If better money and benefits are more important to you than your safety and security, you're an adult and can make that decision for yourself...
I think he is "living with it". I didnt take him as complaining about his job, but complaining about legislation. I was in the military for a while. I was NEVER allowed to keep my weapon in my vehicle or carry on base. I wasn't just going to end everything I worked hard for over that. I thought the rules were stupid, but I chose to live with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Want to know the effect of permitless OC on businesses in regard to whether there will be a rash of postings? Go someplace where there is permitless OC. I go into Kentucky all the time. I don't see too many places posting. I'm curious as to why folks would think Tennessee will be any different. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    World of tanks
No tank games here, already done the real deal
Yup. Rode in a Bradley back when I was a young grunt. Decided I'd rather jump out of airplanes than ride in a tank. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
