  1. Seems like this could be stemming from the original accusations from a bitter ex? I dunno, the article doesn't say one way or the other. I realize that vindictive exes never lie, but I'm gonna wait and see before I wish rhinos on this guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No we don't. He's a cop so obviously he's guilty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Well, since you were there could you give the board a more detailed account of exactly what happened? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. This is a real possibility. Of course, liberals are so ignorant of firearms and the laws they put on the books that an AR15 by itself is evil enough that length is inconsequential. Hell, many liberals think that full auto machine guns are legally and easily obtained. They're educated by Hollywood movies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Kinda why I haven't bought one yet. Once the ATF reverses themselves I have to toss it out, or at least keep it separate. Either way, wasted money. I wonder how that would work with so many thousands if people being law breakers though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. When I was in Charleston last a tour guide explained that the US Army filled those guns in with concrete because they didn't trust the southerners. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. So if an unarmed person attacks you with intent to do great bodily harm or death you shouldn't be allowed to use deadly force? Police should have just as much right to self defense as we do. We don't know what happened here to make an educated assumption as to whether or not he was justified. Seems to me folks default to the cop being in the wrong simply because they don't like cops. No different than racists who belie that white folks who shoot a black aggressor are guilty simply for being white. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Pocket carry

You can get a pocket pistol for half the price, weight and size with nearly the same capacity in the same caliber. I used to have a Walther for pocket carry. I got rid of it for a TCP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. How do you know? There is hardly any information in the article. Based on the 911 call, police went to the scene informed that this man WAS armed. How do you know they didn't act reasonably based on the information they had? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. *You're My GT score was a hell of a lot higher than 110. I wasn't a grunt for a lack of options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm more worried about ball cancer than I am about meeting AQ outside of their stomping grounds. Of course they'll try to attack us again and probably succeed to some degree, but the chances of being a direct victim or being in a position to intervene is about as likely as Jennifer Anniston showing up at my door to service me and make a sammich. Not saying that I don't fantasize about that happening, and keep hope alive that it does, I'm just realistic about the odds. I carry because it is my duty to protect my family, and a firearm is more effective than a broadsword, although not nearly as fashionable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Meh, the pendulum will start swinging back once it has swung too far. The Dems seemed destined to run the White House for the foreseeable future by buying off their voting base with promises of swag, but eventually there won't be enough swag to hand out or their voting base will want more. I'm sure the tidal wave of unemployed and impoverished Irish, Italians and Germans who came to this country 100 years ago were voting socialist. Now they're the backbone of the working middle class. I'm continually surprised by the Dems ruling the Hispanic voting base when all the people I know of Mexican/Cuban/Dominican/puerto rican descent are rabidly right wing. Maybe I just haven't spent enough time in El Paso? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What barrel length/FF tube length is that one? Also, how's the muzzle blast with that pig? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I don't check it in the airport, but I've always checked it before I leave. Usually because I'm arming myself before leaving the parking lot. I haven't had any issues yet, and have flown firearms a few dozen times. Doesn't really matter since the case has to be locked anyway, and it would be pretty obvious if someone broke into it. I suppose that doesn't happen much since a very serious investigation would result. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. They're all standing in the ice cream line at the dfac, sporting shoulder holsters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Nope. It's where they grow POGs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Broken two bolt lugs at different times on an M4. Never seen a firing pin break. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Don't be sarcastic, this is how it all starts. We need Dustin Hoffman! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. You know, I just had a thought. Be careful on the containers you use to mix the AN and AL. They should be the kind of plastic that won't create static. I'm pretty sure the containers that tannerite comes in is coated with something to prevent static discharge. Once you add that aluminum powder that stuff is sensitized and a static discharge could set it off. Mixing those compounds together, just like mixing anything else, could create static electricity. Just remembering back to my days learning about explosives and remembered something like this when I was sitting through an anfo class. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. http://clarksvillenow.com/local/police-believe-alleged-rape-at-dunbar-cave-was-false-report/ For anyone interested, turns out this is a false report according to police. Thought that was pretty obvious from the start.
  22. I dunno, proof? Doesn't matter if that's true anyway. With the millions of Americans speaking out against the government in one form or another, it would be logistically impossible for any monitoring of phones and social media to matter. How does one filter through the white noise? If there was to be some great "list" that we are on, we'd be on it with millions of other Americans making any such list pretty moot. This guy got himself on the radar because of who he associated with and how public he made his crimes known. You think none of the dozens of nut jobs attending his domestic terrorist training sessions might talk to the police? Especially since some of them had records and would us such information to reduce any charges they might be facing? Or, I dunno, maybe when he told one of his neighbors that he's holding bomb making classes in his backyard one of them said something to cops? I'm all about letting people do what they do and it not be my business, but if some idiot is building bombs next door to where my babies sleep, I just might call up the FBI. Or maybe the all knowing, all seeing government is just listening and reading every little thing we say with their millions of analysts that have absolutely nothing better to do than listen to phone calls and read social media. Yeah, you're probably right.
  23. I can read just fine. You included in there a suggestion that since he was 30ft away he had other options. I posed a question in response to that and you chose to ignore the question and get offended. I'm sorry if it offends you so much to remind you that you aren't there, and can not accurately make statements on what the officer could/should have done, or the exact distance the officer was when he fired his weapon. Considering that the information has changed repeatedly since this all started, I can't imagine anyone thinking they have the facts. Not even the investigators have all the facts yet, but hey, speculate away. Maybe they'll hire you to assist in the investigation.
  24. The only facts here are that all the facts are not out, and the information we know is constantly in dispute, contradiction and changing daily. Rather than sit back and wait for the investigation, people like yourself are passing judgment on what this officer could or should have done. You weren't there so you don't know. I don't see why you can't comprehend that and why you take that as an insult. Put on your big kid skin and drive on guy.
  25. And your tone of cop bashing should expect to be answered in kind. But you know, you're right. I defer to your extensive experience as a shooter. Obviously if you were in the same situation you would have performed flawlessly in every way possible.
