  1. The only reason I don't own a belt fed is because I can't get one in full auto. If that were to change, I'd have something for the collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Some kind of crew served. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. When you know their driving is putting your kids in danger that isn't a "small thing" to get upset about. That is your kids' lives dude. And when some lunatic is on your ass while you're driving you must understand that the laws of physics apply, and if you must react to a road condition your kids may be severely injured or killed because the guy behind you is an immature lunatic. Yeah, it's a big deal. I happen to love my kids very much, and I get quite upset when someone threatens their safety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. If you someday find yourself driving your little babies around in your car, people who drive like lunatics will piss you off. A lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I don't presume to know either way. Sometimes women lie to get men tossed in jail. Sometimes girls get raped. We don't know which one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Looks to me like he found exactly what he was looking for. That is the reason I wouldn't give him a dime if I were sitting on the jury for his sure to come civil trial. What he did is akin to standing out in the rain and acting surprised when he got wet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7.   I totally understand that perspective; I dated a girl who had been molested by her father and he served time for it.  As an adult she continued to have a relationship with him for the sake of the family.  It just seems to me, as a husband, if my wife told me about such things I would take the initiative.  A man like that would not be around my wife, and certainly would never be around my children.  An aggravating factor he would be knowing all this while also knowing that there is a young girl in his house, ya know?   I just wouldn't be able to keep that to myself for the sake of family, peace or avoidance of drama.  It would just be the right thing to do. I'm not trying to attack the older daughter.  It just seems based on recent statements that people other than her knew of the type of person this man was and said nothing.  I'd have a hard time throwing stones at this guy if I was keeping his secret while knowing he was likely abusing another child.
  8.   I'm confused.  If all these people around him are so certain that this was going on, why is this just now being brought to the attention of law enforcement?  Especially the ramblings of that other guy (I assume he's married to the older daughter)?  Is he saying that his wife was molested by this guy when she was younger?  Did he just find out?    I suppose this would come out during the court case, but I just can't imagine if my wife told me that her dad molested her.  He certainly wouldn't be part of our family, and would be reported to law enforcement if my wife would be willing to file a police report.  But he was working there with his daughter the whole time this show was airing?  Just doesn't make sense.
  9. The problem with this guy is he's just smart enough not to get himself shot.  Oh well, one can dream.
  10. I do get a kick out of people losing their minds in my rearview. Riding my bumper and screaming out their window like an ahole will not motivate me to break the law and drive at an unsafe speed. It will, however, motivate me to drive a whole lot slower. I had one not too long ago do this on a 35 mph side road. Nowhere to pull off because of no shoulder and a steel ditch. They were practically touching my bumper even though I was going 5 over the speed limit. I just stopped right there. If someone is in that big a hurry they can go around, but I'm not gonna have someone ram my vehicle while I'm moving. Of course, this guy was so close to me that when I stopped he didn't have enough room to get around without having to back up. Made for a whole scene. Funny that he would have gotten to where he was going faster if he just acted like a human being rather than a child throwing a tantrum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Ha, reminds me of a domestic incident that occurred with a violent male neighbor of mine and my wife (while she was 4 months pregnant). She calls me at work crying uncontrollably saying that she has locked herself in the bedroom with the shotgun. I'm screaming across town back home and call 911. Told them the situation. They said they'd get someone out there "soon". I told them they'd better get there before I do. They did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Really? I didn't watch the video for obvious reasons, but I saw the stills from it and it looked like a mini Uzi with no stock. Either way, the recoil on a small automatic weapon like that is a lot for little spaghetti arms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. A full sized Uzi, maybe. I've shot them all. The Sten is much easier to control. It shoots much slower. A full sized Uzi has a stock on it which makes it easier to control. This was a mini Uzi, and no stock was utilized. Many adults would have problems controlling this on full auto. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Let me add, if someone was to say, "hey I'm gonna let this 9 year old kid shoot this pistol on full auto" while any of us were at the range, we would all have the same opinion.  We would immediately think that it was a bad idea.  There is a reason for that.  It's a bad idea.  It doesn't take deep thought to consider why.  The results of this scenario are exactly the reasons why I would have thought it was a bad idea.  There is no reputable firearms instructor who wouldn't see this coming.
  15. This wasn't a "minor lapse in judgment".  Obviously it was pretty major, considering this guy had his head turned into a canoe.   Yes, there are times where this would be okay.  In fact, there is that little girl who shoots 3-gun competitions, and can handle a fully auto 5.56 rifle better than most members of our armed forces.  Of course, she has undergone quite a bit of training, and a fully auto rifle has a stock on it.  What this girl was shooting was essentially a pistol with no way to brace.  She clearly would not have the strength to handle it on full auto, and our proof is this guy's brains decorating the ceiling. That and standing forward of the barrel wasn't something "instructors" would do with an untrained child shooting a full auto pistol for the first time.... or maybe it's just something I wouldn't do.   No, this wasn't a minor lapse in judgment; this was stupid at it's finest.  Any responsible person would be able to see how this was a huge safety violation on multiple levels.  Luckily the stupid corrected itself and this little girl didn't lose her life.  I recall this happening not too long ago where a little boy shooting a full auto Uzi was killed.  Stupid.  Pure stupid.
  16. Glad to see our brave crusader of justice is free to continue his campaign of righting wrongs.  Before I was concerned about my rights to carry an AR15 incased in kydex through downtown, but now I know I'm free to do so.  I will tell my grandchildren of this day.
  17. Hehe, I'm just givin him a hard time, ain't I? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The term "cargo" wasn't used in a manner befitting honor, in the same way referring to the crew chief as "stewardess" wasn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Which department filed charges first and which department filed the second charges? If the ex just shopped around to a different LEA then I suppose the only difference is she got her stories more detailed and rehearsed before approaching LEA number two? And I suppose if they drop charges on this one she'll go to another LEA. God help this man if he ever goes to another county with his daughter. She'd just go to the police/sheriff and say he raped his daughter in their jurisdiction. Considering folks accused of rape are guilty until proven innocent (and often remain guilty even AFTER they are found not guilty) what does she have to lose? This happens a lot. But so does rape. I don't know what happened, but I've grown accustom to not believing sensational headlines, and I'm almost always right for doing so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I think we've been using the term "instructor" very loosely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You didn't see Smith's post regarding the Marshals? They were only there because concern for the guy having automatic weapons (legally). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Sure is. We know how that can go though. There was a time where I'd feel the same way, but I've seen a lot of these types of cases turn out to be nothing more than using society's disgust as a tool of destruction against one's life. If he's guilty then I gladly volunteer to feed him to pigs. I'm just gonna be careful not to blindly accept the testimony of a disgruntled ex and her easily coerced daughter. If this happened then it should be clear when it goes to trial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. There was a guy on gunbroker I dealt with years ago to get old A1 and carbine parts for a retro build I was doing. I'm sure he's still on there if you look around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I did. I've always had a special place for you guys after being jokingly referred to as "cargo" by one of your colleagues at the air regiment years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
