  1. I have too much fear tied up in flesh eating bacteria to volunteer any to some pretend militants. Not that I was ever impressed with Sunni militants in Iraq, but at least they'd shoot at us from time to time. The fact that NBPP is so many tiers below a bunch a sheep raping cavemen makes them a non-threat. If ever aggressed by any of these fools I would go out of my way not to shoot them because it would be way more satisfying to witness them evacuate their bowels into their overly clean looking fatigues as they look down the large diameter barrel I have presented them with. The NBPP does nothing but provide comic relief to tense situations like the one in Sanford.
  2. Well I'm specifically talking about fatalities. Someone texting and driving at 35 mph isn't likely to produce a fatality while someone doing the same at 80 is. Speed/physics is what causes death. To argue that somehow a lighter vehicle is less subject to the laws of physics than a heavier vehicle doesn't make sense. It only changes the inertia.
  3. Speed is THE leading factor in traffic fatalities. My son figured this out when he was two. He discovered that if you run into objects going fast it hurts more than when you're going slow. This is simple physics.
  4. Islam has no monopoly on Arabic and vice versa. There are millions of Jews and Christians across the Arab world that know Arabic as a first language. I would be more inclined to believe that a bunch of pissed off Saudis don't get to affect the languages my child is exposed to. In fact, I would want them to educate themselves on why folks would perpetrate such an act in the name of their religion. I did. I read Islam for Dummies before I deployed to Iraq the first time. I am a quarter done with the Quran. When some down time again I'll pick up my Nook and finish it. Just because a group of pissed off fundamentalists are ignorant doesn't mean I have to be. Besides, my understanding of Islam helped me to better hunt down some very bad people.
  5. Blast it! Internet, you may have won this round but I will return
  6. Excessive speeding IS reckless. If someone can explain to me how using a camera to document a person breaking the law on public property is violating the Constitution I would appreciate it. Lots of other crimes that are caught on tape are used in the court of law as evidence so I don't see how this is different. If it isn't legal then I should be able to rape someone in a public park that has video surveillance, then fight charges in court claiming the camera is a machine and, therefore, isn't a valid witness. At the end of the day this only affects those that are breaking the law. So long as the government isn't breaking the law in their collection of evidence I don't see the problem.
  7. Yes, apparently your translation software doesn't have tolerance for my previous misspellings.
  8. This is why I don't see a problem, there are elementary schools all around the country that teach foreign languages as a mandatory instruction. My elementary school had Spanish as a mandatory class. No uproar there. I don't see Arabic as being any different with the exception of its global relevance/irrelevance. I agree that the administrator's assessment that it will make kids more competitive in a global market is ridiculous as the only exports of Arab nations are oil and extremism, but it does introduce kids to another language which makes a more rounded adult, just like art and music classes. I had to take art classes all through elementary and middle school and I didn't grow up to be an artist. I learned to read, write and speak Arabic a decade ago and didn't become a Muslim.... weird, I know.
  9. This was similar to my first Michigan experience except they brought me raspberry tea. I had to spit it back out... no warning on that one. I don't even bother asking anymore if I'm anywhere outside the South.
  10. Eh, I don't care what laws they make. I'm a free man and will defend myself against criminal aggression. If that lands me in jail then so be it.
  11. This is the point right there. Zimmerman's lawyer will have no problem convincing a jury that Zimmerman was in fear of his life or that a reasonable person would be in fear of his/her life in such a situation. That is not/will not be the argument in the courtroom. If it was the trial would last a day and deliberation would take 10 minutes. Obviously there is more to this, otherwise this will be the biggest embarrassment in courtroom history and Zimmerman and his lawyers are going to be richer than anyone we know. I'm not betting on that horse, there is more to it.
  12. Excuse my spelling, I put a "ح" where a "ه" belonged. Corrected below. And i misspelled مشكلة because of my fat thumbs on my iPhone.
  13. أنا لا اÙحم، ما هي متشكلة؟
  14. I'm more concerned with flesh eating bacteria than I am with someone victimizing me on behalf of the NBPP. Besides, I put away the G19 for the summer in lieu of the Kimber. I can put large holes in bad guys but there isn't much I can do about flesh eating bacteria.
  15. Hahaha, are there prizes involved?
  16. At least they died doing what they love.
  17. Wow, that had everything.
  18. If you wanna roll with the big dogs ya can't piss like a pup.
  19. The only difference between this guy and neo-nazis is color and the fact one group is targeted by the Feds and one USED to be targeted by the Feds. More ignorant spew without anything to back it up.
  20. I'm surprised the kid didn't face punishment. I remember a while back a kid recorded an out of control teacher and was suspended for having her cell phone in class.
  21. Just so I understand, its okay to rush to judgement that Martin was a punk kid that had it coming but it's not okay to rush to judgement that Zimmerman was an overzealous wanna-be? "Most" folks on this thread believe that Zimmerman is innocent of criminal wrongdoing. There are only a few of us that don't think he is. Believe what you want but it goes both ways.
  22. Just curious, would you mind sharing the incident that occurred with your friend? I understand if you don't but I'm always curious about these kinds of incidents.
  23. I'm actually agreeing with you in regards to the prosecution's inability to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Zimmerman was not in fear of his life. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to get a jury to all agree beyond a reasonable doubt that getting your head slammed repeatedly into the pavement wouldn't make someone fear for their life. There must be some evidence we don't know about. Otherwise these would be the dumbest people in their profession. It hurts my delicate sensibilities that you didn't read my post and understand what I was saying. One more like that and I'm crawling into a bottle of Jack.
  24. Anyone can ask you anything and you can refuse to answer, but if that police officer can tell you're carrying and he asks for a permit you have to produce one. I would say having a bulgy pistol butt imprinting in your shirt is enough PC for an officer to search you if you say that you aren't armed.... carrying a handgun is a crime after all. If someone approaches you and asks if you're carrying a firearm it's safe to assume they already know. I guess you could tell them to pound sand, but being deceptive or hostile is likely to raise a person's suspicion and cause them to call police, especially if it's the store's management or security.
