  1. They look harder than a bag of d**ks. Bet they weren't lookin' so bad azz when they were on the receiving end of that AR. The owner should sue the crap out of these two that survived and the family of the dead one for destroying the front of his store and make them pay for the ammo.
  2. This has been the best thread hijack ever.
  3. While I don't agree with much of your beliefs, I often try to offset you with a +1 when folks come by and -1 ya. Nearly all of them were just folks that disagreed with you politically, not because of a wrongful action on your part.
  4. Soooooo, you don't want any death sticks? Is that what you're saying? Haha, I didn't notice there was a second page to this when I replied. Looks like it was already answered. By "cheap knock-off" I meant that Boba was the cheap knock-off of Jengo as he was a test tube baby and wasn't QC'd as well as the clones. He did do well for himself... I'm guessing mostly due to "daddy issues" and the fear of being seen inadequate when compared to his father's exploits... or I could just be reading too much into it.
  5. Depends on what your definition of "is" is.
  6. I had a functionally illiterate squad leader from eastern Kentucky that would say "you'uns". Can't say that I've noticed too many people talk that way, but then again, I haven't spent much time in that area.
  7. Ha, well I don't know if the Eagle Scout manual is on there or any other Boy Scout manuals are, but they are probably more relevant that 98% of the military manuals you'll find there. I didn't scroll through 500 FMs, but I know enough about Army manuals to know that the majority of them are useless. The ones that are useful in their practice probably would have zero civilian utility. Base defense and small unit tactics (7-8 or Ranger Handbook) would be the only useful ones I could think of in regard to military-style tactics. Probably the most relevant and important in SHTF would be medical... both routine and trauma stuff. If I could only pick one I'd say medical manuals. The tactical stuff tends to teach itself out of necessity.
  8. No, Jengo was is daddy.... the original mercenary that they used to make the clone army. Boba was a cheap knock off.
  9. Everything on medical care. Base defense, small unit tactics and an eagle scout manual.
  10. "I have a gun and the police are on their way." That should be the last thing they hear before they leave or get shot.
  11. Yeah, would have been better if he were dead. I'm sure the tax payer will be footing his medical bills to get him fixed up so he can try this again with success. The fact he was armed tells me he had sinister plans. Maybe he'll find Jesus now and talk other low life wastes of oxygen out of the criminal life or something. Or maybe he'll try this again at a household where they follow up their shots with an extra couple rounds. Either way would be a happy ending.
  12. Perhaps he was using one of those high capacity drum fed bows that have the exploding hollow point arrows. Why can't he just get his meat at the supermarket where they make it instead of killing defenseless animals?
  13. At Vandy in critical condition. Tell your wives not to answer the door at 10:30 pm. It won't be anything good. http://www.wkrn.com/story/19261332/suspect-shot-in-face-during-attempted-home-invasion
  14. They went after Leiberman pretty hard a few years back when he broke ranks.
  15. Could be a garter snake. They can get up to that size and I've seen 'em before that are so dark green the look black. They got a long opaqish strip going down their sides and sometimes will have other markings. I used to catch the small ones when I was a kid since they usually wouldn't bite.
  16. I often get baited by my wife's liberal family when I'm up there visiting. I've learned to avoid it at all costs. I won't change their opinion with logic and they won't change my opinion with emotion. I realized it is a battle I don't want to fight when I found out that my wife's Aunt cried before we got married because she found out I have guns. You can't argue with that with logic. It just can't be done.
  17. Yeah, the Editor of Veterans Today is upset that Romney went to Israel and showed strong support for a Jewish state. That's where all this is coming from. This is the same group that believes our government/media/military is run by a room full of rich Jews in Haifa. Quite the credible source. Take a look around the site, especially the New World Order crap.... it's enough for me to want to convert to Judaism just to spite these lunatics. They must get their funding from Mel Gibson.
  18. I wouldn't call it hysteria. Some folks should swing for this, but I don't think the original intentions of it were to create an environment conducive to grab guns. They do that fine on their own. There is always a mass shooting or BS statistics to fall back on for the gun grabbers. If the deceased Border Patrol agent had been killed by a firearm not related to the gun tracker project the libs would have done the same thing... blamed gun show loopholes and such. It is, without fail, what they do. I think it was quite serendipitous that the firearm recovered from the Border Patrol shooting was related to the project and that didn't come to light until after the libs blamed gun shows. It will forever be an immediate response to claims that gun shows fuel Mexican drug violence. Every time someone blames a gun show we can say that it has a greater chance of coming from Eric Holder. Really takes the wind out of their sails. The UN thing has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment. It could cause issues for importing and exporting to/from certain countries but that'll get worked out. Money talks and the countries that are exporting arms to rogue nations and terrorist factions are in the other hemisphere... for the most part. So those are the reasons I don't believe in vast conspiracies. There is never any question that liberal Democrats want to take away our guns. They don't try to hide it. Every time a gun is mentioned in any news report it is a flag to rally around for the left. This time they just happen to be involved in the fray because they are incompetent when it comes to executing a plan to exploit rat lines in the weapons smuggling industry. But like I said, for everything they've done after the fact, there should be some charges coming out of this. There won't be, but there should. Kudos to the Republicans for going after Holder. It hurt Obama in the short term. Hopefully it rears its head in October.
  19. So, in order for this article to be true that would mean that there is a secret underground movement in our military that includes officers in all branches of service who have managed to conspire together and keep it off the radar of not only their respective unit S2 shops, but also managed not to raise the ire of CID, AFOSI, NCIS, FBI, NSA and so on, but they were willing to spout off (in great detail) all their plans and motives to unvetted Russian counterparts during a joint training exercise.... am I following so far?..... the same country that can't keep its female spies from posing nude in Playboy.... Yep, makes total sense. Obama better watch out... he's in trouble alright.
  20. I'm hoping for another case of executive privilage.... best if done in October. The last one didn't work out so well for him, but people have already forgotten.
  21. Obama is a normal man just like you and I. He puts his pants on one leg at a time, the only difference is, when he puts his pants on it immediately raises suspicion regarding the second and third order effects of the conspiracy tied to how he fastens them... does he zip first and then button?? Or does he button and then zip???? I DON'T KNOW!!! In all seriousness though, can you remember a time when there is some kind of border shooting or US-Mexico weapons smuggling case that wasn't used by the libs as a excuse for more gun control or the infamous "loophole"? They do it everytime regardless of gun tracker projects. It just so happens that when they did it in this case it was a result of a failed program launched by morons. Trust me, I've seen plenty of ambitious plans before hatched by office sitters that don't take into account certain environmental and reality based considerations. Like I said, there were better ways for them to do what they were trying to do. I'm not convinced they're that smart to be so diabolical; I just think they're that stupid and happen to be blessed with good spin doctors and media support.
  22. I saw that in a Subway last year with a girl who had Arabic lettering tattooed on the back of her neck (I'm assuming so customers had something to look at while doing their business) and it was done all jacked up. It appeared as if it was done backward (left to right) because each character was independent, not joined together. It didn't spell anything from the proper way (right to left) and from left to right it was the phonetic spelling of a western name. So it was done doubly wrong. But hey, she is so cultured.
  23. Hmmm... "in fear for my life" implies that if I don't act with deadly force I will likely die. I think that would make all other concerns moot.
  24. I usually read Veterans Today to find out what new 9/11 conspiracy the Zionists are up to. You can always tell the validity of news source by the percentage of articles that blame Jews for the world's problems.
  25. Finally! Someone I can relate to.
