  1. Yes, absolutely.
  2. I don't see that as a reason not to patronize a business, unless your only business is shoot your reloads. The purpose behind it was insurance related, not some sort of anti-reloader bigotry.
  3. http://www.tngunowne...shville-armory/ I assume this is what you're talking about.
  4. I hate seeing fat kids whose parents stuff them full of fat foods and set the course for a fat, lazy lifestyle which will most likely end in an obesity related death at a relatively young age. I hate it. However, I'll be damned if the government is going to step in and tell me what I can or can't drink. Just rediculous. If a parent is killing their kid, then charge them with child abuse or something. Limiting sodas and trans fats is just so incredibly over the line. Fat people can be as jolly as they damn want. If all that good food and sitting around relaxing makes life worth it to you, then more power fella. Once again, New Yorkers deserve the government they elect. The problem is Bloomberg wants this to happen everywhere.
  5. Okay, I'll have to look around. He came on and explained it a month ago.
  6. The owner of the establishment in question already posted on here why he doesn't allow it.
  7. I'm glad you brought up that quote, as I was discussing with a colleague earlier that this is exactly what we're missing here. I don't need bombs falling right away. I understand the importance of tactical patience. However, the President needs to make a strong statement so the world understands that we will not be pushed around and our intentions are to chase down the perpetrators to the ends of the earth. We look weak based on the initial reactions of he State Department. The events in Yemen make clear of that. We need a leader responding to these attacks, and what we have is a politician who is choosing his words carefully as to not upset certain demographics. That is not what I want when our sovereignty is violated. It is not what I expect from a leader.
  8. For the age and condition these firearms are in, they have no place being fired. Some of these may be the last of their kind in such good condition.
  9. Sounds about right. You see, if you give Marines live ammo they will absolutely shoot people that need shooting, which is a bad thing if you are a weak minded liberal incapable of understanding that there are people out there that want to kill Americans and violate our sovereignty.
  10. M240s eat the same disintegrating links that M60s did.
  11. I agree, but unfortunately this is the world we exist in. I would love for some high speed American scientist to develop a new form of fuel that we could run our economy off of so we could let the mid east to back to what it was 100 years ago when nobody cared and they couldn't afford a pot to piss in. For now, this is our reality.
  12. I've seen it done in a movie once. In reality, probably a "no". That was propaganda. They didn't disable jack squat. Drones crash sometimes, just like planes and helicopters with real people in them.
  13. Because Obama has made clear that terrorist mobs can kill our people and overrun our embassies with impunity. It's open season now brother. We'll just apologize for allowing our freedom of speech to be offensive. For all the trash talking about George Bush, he never would have tolerated this garbage.
  14. The Ambassador travels sometimes. It's kinda in the job description. He had a security detail with him. I'm assuming that contract is under review since they failed miserably at their primary purpose. I know, I know. I wasn't there blah, blah. I know that there is no excuse for that detail to be separated from their cargo and still be alive. From the White House releases it appears that is exactly what happened during the initial attack that resulted in his death. Also, the "neighborhood house" was not some kind of a super secret safe house. Everyone knows it's a consulate building. Its location means nothing, nor does its lack of state of the art defenses and security systems. We can't go dumping tens of millions of dollars into every State Dept building around the world, especially in places that may not be occupied for an extended period of time. That's not how it works either. There are people with actual training who get paid far less to do that stuff. It would be pretty high profile for a spy's cover to be Ambassador. Would make it hard for him to do business.
  15. I'm sorry, I missed the part on my HCP application where it said "whites only".
  16. All joking aside, WTF does it matter that Romney is Morman? How is that even making its way into the decision matrix? Are we to assume that he will govern based on his faith? Bush Sr. didn't like broccoli but I don't remember that being banned when he was President. Why does anyone care that he is Mormon. How incredibly close minded and bigoted.
  17. Mom left her .380 on the couch. Three year old shoots himself in the stomach while mommy is updating her Facebook status and arranging for her customers and future baby daddies that evening.
  18. I'm not trying to be an a$$ by saying it this way, but it baffles me that folks seem to think that America will stay out of it when (not if) Iran launches a nuke into Israel. We will absolutely get involved when that happens whether you think we should or not. That is the reality of the situation. Would it not make sense to prevent Iran from getting a nuke, especially when we can do that without committing forces or engaging in an actual aerial strike??? As someone who has answered the call when our country went to war, I do not want to have to do it again because Americans just kept hitting the snooze button, nor do I want my children to have to do it. We played that game and that's how we got two wars that everyone bitches about non-stop. Now, here we are with a clear cut example of how WW3 is going to start and the answer is to ignore it because it ain't our business? We played that game too; twice last century. Just incredibly naive and one dimensional to look at this situation as an Israeli problem only. We shouldn't have to wait until our mistakes are quantifiable. That is what being proactive is all about. It's like someone with high cholesterol not doing anything until they have a heart attack. Why wait until it gets that bad when you know the result is inevitable if you continue your way of life. Just absolutely mind boggling.
  19. Ugh, I hate cheese in my grits. Since he prefers it I'm sure he'll pass a law that states all grits must include cheese. He has lost my vote for sure now!
  20. I got the impression from the article that he was having a copy made.
  21. The law needs to change, but for now no one should sweat it. Nobody has been charged under this as far as we know except for the ones at the airport. Nobody is getting charged for carrying past a tiny sign at a gas station.
  22. I'm not buying this one yet. This just sounds like a setup to drop a few hellfires in Yemen and say that Obama acted decisively during a crisis. Our reaction needs to be severe and include the cutting off of aid to Libya and Egypt.
  23. Just some folks stirring the pot. I don't condone that kinda stuff, however, I support their right to do it. What bugs me are the folks that say they shouldn't do it because it brings the wrath of our enemies. We should never, ever make choices on our freedom of speech based on fears of what our enemies would do. In that case I'd be the first one to host a party with gasoline and Qurans. Their actions may have been indecent/disrespectful but that does not excuse violent action and should not compel folks to say they shouldn't have done it based on the reaction of freedom hating terrorists.
