  1. In EVERY country where there were protests and riots the film is illegal to possess or access online. Furthermore, the Internet services in those countries is heavily restricted, as anyone who has traveled through some of those places would know if they have dealt with the frustration of trying to access porn online while on the road. It's safe to say that the vast majority have not seen the video with the exception of clips aired on al Arabiya and al Jazeera, which would still be censored since they would not be able to show the actor who was depicting Momo. Once again, remember that we are one of the last bastions of freedom in the world that enjoys free speech. This film could even be banned in some European countries as "hate speech". All the more reason to hammer this administration for their attempts to silence the film makers through intimidation and requests to Google.
  2. That's cause some folks think that an AR won't work without a dust cover and forward assist. They do. Anyone that makes a big deal out of that is simply ignorant. Other rifles don't have dust covers on their bolts and they work fine.
  3. Mine don't work unless there is a round in the chamber.
  4. They no speaky da Arabi. Mostly Dari (Farsi) or Pashtu. Of course, words for "God" and "Satan" are the same, and use the same alphabet characters to spell in all three languages.
  5. Haha, there is a video I saw of a 3 year old at an Iraqi wedding who is handling a BHP while the owner of it sits there and allows it to be pointed at him. It gets really funny when the three year old gut shoots him. These folks are the rednecks of the middle east... no offense to rednecks. I come from a family of them so I know the stereotype well.
  6. It's a toy. Kids there run around with these things all the time. Lucky the first time I saw one of these little bastards with their real looking pistols they were playing cops and robbers with each other, cause if they had pointed it at us while we were riding by it would have ended badly.
  7. Well that boils down to personal feelings and experiences. I wish I could say with a straight face that all life is precious, but I can't. I really feel no remorse for someone who gets killed in the process of victimizing others. But I don't think the take away from that should be that I feel as if death should be punitive, but certainly an option to protect what is rightfully yours. I think that is the misunderstanding here because folks seem unwilling to understand the difference between the two.
  8. Sure, it's your house.
  9. Friggin Jody, man. Scum of the earth.
  10. I check it right before I break it down. This always surprises me when I hear about folks shooting themselves cleaning their gun. I can't think of a time when I was cleaning my gun that my firearm would be functional, since all the parts are out of it and on some the barrel removed. It only becomes functional when I put it back together, at which point, I can't see how a round would make it into the equation until I intentionally loaded it.
  11. Answer: Flat tax. The most fair you can get. No special discounts, and deductions, just flat tax. There is nothing more fair than that. Plus it will eliminate 90% of the IRS and prevent the elitists in our society from using every tiny loophole to pay a lower percentage than what I pay. The way it works now, you can increase the percentage that the rich pay all you want, but they'll just find ways to exploit the system because they have the money to do it.
  12. To which some would reply, "I don't have to answer your questions.... 4th Amendment... blah, blah.... why don't you catch real criminals instead of harrassing me... blah ... whaddaya mean 'press down hard, you're making 5 copies?'"
  13. No, this is the original post: It is a question and a poll of "would you" if the law allowed. For some reason folks seem to want to challenge the honest answers of folks with crap that has nothing to do with the OP, such as "well it ain't legal, and hasn't been for a long time" or "well let's see you go shoot folks for stealing your TV if you're so bad ass". The point is, that was not the OP and has nothing to do with the subject.
  14. Yep, which is what I had to explain to the wife when I didn't go for those jobs. I talked about places, pay and options and all she heard was the pay. She thought making that kind of money was a lot there. Had to burst her bubble and inform her we'd be living in an apartment because the only homes we would be able to afford would be in crack town.
  15. I wrote a very well thought out and reasonable response that I would figure any person could understand. You can choose to get your panties into a bunch by being insulted but this fact remains: You claim you will not vote for someone based on their religious beliefs. I don't need to define that. That statement defines itself. Furthermore, you went is far in this last post to identify all those in the Mormon faith as incapable of separating their faith from professional decisions. That's another pretty broad brushstroke. Don't get offended by me simply pointing out what you have readily admitted to.
  16. I'd type out an explanation, but I'd rather you just read my previous post and the post of the OP before misinterpreting what I say.
  17. Sorry, but we should watch what we say out of respect, not out of fear. I don't have any issues with Islam as a religion, just the folks that have adopted an extremist view of it and piss in our Cheerios. The moment folks in our society start talking about limiting their speech out of fear of reprisals in the moment that us Men need to sack up and engage in the exact behavior which is eliciting the violent response. We should NOT be intimidated into limiting free speech. If we are, then we aren't free.
  18. Stupid Tapatalk
  19. Hahaha, Hezbollah. What a bunch of sheep raping monkeys.
  20. Right. I don't want to think about what the mortgage is like on a $750,000 house.
  21. I'll inform. Has nothing to do with laws or any of that. Just a matter of professional courtesy. I got no problem jaw jacking with the cop neither; might as well be nice and answer the questions, since I probably broke the law in the first place in order to get pulled over. Cops are people too. They are subject to the same prejudices as the rest of us. There ain't no law that says you have to be courteous to the folks at Mc D's, but if you're not they might spit in your burger. I guess if you wanna be stand-offish with the popo you'll probably get that ticket for breaking whatever law you broke. I'd prefer not to get the ticket, and have been pretty successful at it in my younger years when I got pulled over a lot. But if you don't want to tell him you don't got to. Just 'cause the rest of do doesn't make us fools.
  22. NYC, greater DC and a few places on the Cali coast. Cost of living being mostly defined by home prices, not by the cost of a Big Mac. A while back when I was job hunting I was looking at property in a few of these high cost areas. It was at least 4 or 5 times the cost for something comparable to what I live in now.
  23. Well I'd be screwed 'cause I never had to go through a class or qualify at all. Guess that means I got a right to carry but shouldn't defend myself lest I be convicted for not qualifying on some silly test I could pass whilst drunk and blindfolded.
  24. No. I'm not seeing how that is relevant to the OP.
