It's folks like this who cause me to mentally justify unthinkable things. Most the time I respect the laws which make society civil; other times I wish society would let folks like me off the chain for a few days to take care of human garbage who prey on the weak without remorse. They need a dose of their own medicine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's stuff like this which attempts to minimize the destruction Kim Kardashian has done to our country. Thanks Obama. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My mom used to say it a lot while I was growing up. Didn't make sense until I became an adult. Accepting that life isn't fair is one of the first steps people can take toward not being a victim, grabbing life by her big ol' fun bags and doing something constructive with one's life. I find it hard to sympathize with folks who play a role in their misfortune. I know a few folks who have cancer way before their time. Those people are true victims that had no part in their misfortune. Most of us are the architects of our own universe, good or bad. Very few people are true victims. Life lesson: 1. Actions have consequences. 2. Life isn't fair. Regardless of who is right or wrong, you made choices and those choices affected your ability to achieve other goals. Own the negative ramifications of your choices, learn from it, sack up and drive on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for getting back with us to tell us how it shoots. I'm looking to get a noise reducer for a 7.5 project, and had been looking at the KAK up until this thread. I'd be interested to hear how well this reduces noise to the shooter compared to the KIES and the KX3. I'm going to be making an order for one of the three in two weeks, and want to get the cup of the carpenter, so to speak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any rescue that doesn't scan for chips is not reputable. That is a standard thing now, especially since these rescues normally deal with vet offices and know that the Humane Society will scan for free. Chipping your dog leaves out all plausible deniability for someone who recovers a pet. The first step one takes when recovering a pet is to search websites for "lost pet" ads. Next step is to check with the Humane Society/Animal Control to see if any lost pets have been reported with the description of the dog you have. If not, you register the founds pet with Animal Control, that way if someone contacts them with that description, Animal Control will contact you. During the registration of the animal, the pet would be scanned. If not, ask them to do it. Very simply stuff here. The reason why I am a strong believer in chipping your dog. It's cheap, and there is a whole lot of peace of mind involved.

Both will work; one just costs more. I'd go with that Ruger. My goodness what a good deal. That would have been an awesome deal 20 years ago. This grace period of dirt poor AR prices couldn't possibly last for long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you kidding? If my dogs broke out I would hope there are at least a few decent people like myself who would do what they could to keep them from being hit by a car and returned home safe. The fact that I've done it over a dozen times in the past few years, and having many of the owners thank me profusely tells me I did the right thing. Of course, it's attitudes like yours which make people like me reconsider doing good deeds. I hate the headache associated with doing nice things for assholes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It would seem that way. They've surprised me again with their incompetence. I put way too much faith in people to do the right thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I could go my whole life never smoking a cigarette and still get lung cancer. Of course, if I chain smoke my whole life, I greatly increase my risk. The more people we let in from infected countries, the higher the risk to the U.S. It's simple math. I don't understand the theory that "well, it's gonna get here anyway so let's not take common sense measures." That is ridiculous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pay the fee for crying out loud. They fed and boarded your dog for several months. My dog eats way more than $80 in chow in that amount of time. If anything, these people have saved you money. Get your dog chipped. My wife and I rescue strays all the time. We've had it happen on three occasions that people were pissed that we picked their dog out of the road and brought it home. They had the attitude that it would have returned home if we'd left it alone. How the **** am I supposed to know that??? When I see a dog running loose, I assume it has broken out, and I consider that the owner would be devastated if their dog ran away or was hit by a car. I always try to recover the animal. In two of the cases cited above, the dog had no tag and the other had the wrong address AND wrong phone number on their tag. We sheltered these animals, contacted the humane society and put ads online. We looked into ads posted online for missing animals. The owners in two of these cases were not so much as thankful, and seemed pissed that we recovered their pet. I should've thought to charge them a "rehoming" fee! At a standard rate which an animal boarder charges. Micro chip your pet if you're gonna let him run loose. Make sure he has rabies tags and accurate owner tags. I've tracked down owners by calling the vet and having them look up the rabies tag on the animal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He's waiting until after the election to do the ban. Kinda like waiting until after the election to admit Benghazi was a premeditated terrorist attack. People will be infected and die as a result of Demoncrat ambition. The more folks who contract this disease in W. Africa, the higher the chances of one getting on a plane to the U.S. and Europe during the incubation period. There will be more; especially since many believe that America has the miracle cure for Ebola. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Things like work and school wouldn't be calculated into the plan if it was that bad. Quite simply, I wouldn't leave my house and would survive on what I have stored for as long as possible. All entry points would be barricaded appropriately and there would be signage warning people not to enter my property or deadly force would be used. In a pandemic scenario, things like that may be common. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I work at it every day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Point was that they would be going out through a gateway and that would be an opportunity to remain through an incubation cycle to ensure no one had been infected. Obviously they would adjust procedure for this versus Iraq/Afghanistan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What gets me about this issue is that the information regarding the transmission of the disease has been the same from the start. I've seen nothing breaking about this virus in terms of how contagious it is. Folks seem to be interpreting this wrong from the start, and now believe that this is on par with an airborne virus. While it's still highly contagious, it isn't what many folks think it is. On the other side, it sounds like the powers that be are screwing this up by the numbers.... again. From the get go of patient zero; releasing someone with Ebola-like symptoms who admitted coming from a quarantine zone, then justifying the action. Ugh. Now healthcare workers are being exposed without an effective protocol established, and no proper quarantine of those exposed. Typical reactionary government behavior. I suppose it's easier to be reactionary than proactive. Folks who are proactive get thrown under the bus for wasting money on stuff that never happens (because being proactive prevented it), while reactive types only have to worry if things go bad.... it's safer to roll the dice. No one is ever held accountable anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've never collected unemployment or any government assistance. I don't even go to the VA for healthcare. However, just like all folks here, I've paid unemployment insurance through the style of excise tax that it is. You think companies pay into unemployment insurance out of their own profits? Hell no. That comes from your pay. If a time comes that I am unemployed against my will, I will absolutely collect unemployment if I can't find a job. It's something I've actually paid into, and a hell of a lot more than folks who are perpetually unemployed. That isn't looking for a hand out or running to the teat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
