Yeah, fad diets are never good, and that 2,000 calorie diet would kill me, or at least make me less pleasant to be around than I already am. If I went down to 2,000 calories a day I'd look like a bulimic Ethiopian, so clearly those plans are not built for everyone. Just like some folks couldn't put down the amount of calories I take in and not be fat. Simple portion management, removal of junk foods and light exercise will achieve amazing results for sedentary, overweight people. If someone can successfully implement those lifestyle changing steps, and maintain that for 6 months, I'd say the next step would be the more intensive programs which achieve advanced fitness goals through a professional. Anyone who unnecessarily kills an animal, regardless of their profession, is a crappy person. Unfortunately, some of those people become cops and feel emboldened to do what they normally wouldn't when they are subject to the law. Those types, one would think, should be terminated and charged as soon as they are discovered. There was a case in Clarksville a couple years ago where a cop shot a dog in the owners yard, with the dog on a chain at the time. The owner was inside the house, heard the shot and found their dog dead. The officer was cutting through the yard during a search for a missing kid. There were no more stories in the paper regarding the incident, but I can't believe there is an excuse for trespassing into someone's yard, then killing a dog which is restrained. In that scenario, you get to take a bite. Sorry. The onus is on the officer, not the dog, to have his head functioning from outside his ass. On another note, trashy people let their dogs run loose, usually aggressive dogs. My cousin responded to a 911 call several years ago where a couple of loose pit bulls chased a man through his neighborhood and he was able to jump in a vehicle and call 911. My cousin was in the area and went to respond. Upon arriving to where the gentleman was hiding, one of the dogs charged him and he shot and killed it. Of course, all the comments on the story were people saying that it was just a cop murdering someone's dog, and he didn't have to shoot it. Meanwhile, nobody acknowledges that an owner allowed dangerous animals to roam the streets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Simple stuff works best. Cut out all foods which serve no other purpose than pleasure. Soft drinks, lickies and chewies, desserts. Then incorporate just a little exercise which is sustainable for you; not some P90X crap that you'll quit after a few weeks because it's too intense. Those simple things right there will show results over time. You don't want to set crash goals of dropping large amounts of weight in a short amount of time. You will fail to keep it off, or give up when you aren't seeing drastic results quick enough. Cut the garbage food out, manage your portions and do a little exercise. Do this for 6 months at least and you'll not only see results, but you'll get used to the idea of not eating large amounts of crap and drinking soda. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've honestly not done any research into the information this guy has shared in regard to sensitive or classified information, so I can't speak to that. What I do know is that he sucks and should quit his whining and self aggrandizing. He is no more significant that anyone else who threw a uniform on and put themselves in harms way for this country. Yeah, there was actually a gang member murdering POS in Clarksville who successfully used that defense, after shooting wildly in a Walmart parking lot after being shot at by rival gang members. The result was the death of an innocent retired school teacher, and most involved now walk around as free men. It isn't the case anymore. Maybe Charlie Sheen ruined it for the organization? Imagine how disappointed I was when I found out that you can't destroy an APC with a Stinger missile. I've met and worked with my share of older SEALs, who were, for the most part, true professionals. The ones I've worked with over the past decade+ are generally high on the image projected in the media and film. Yeah, my buddy had a collection of his books and I tried one of them for a little bit until I couldn't take it anymore. Nothing against MPs, but it was absolutely ridiculous. I liked the movie though for the comedic value. I just watched Edge of Tomorrow, and it was real good as well. As much as Tom Cruise is a lunatic, he does some good movies. My parents have a single bear who comes by every 6 months or so to trash their place. They have two rings of fencing on the property. He sometimes will rip a fence post towards the ground to make climbing over it easier. A couple of weeks ago he destroyed their bird feeders. They secure the lids on their garbage cans, and he's given up trying to rip those open. My dad fires warning shots from the upstairs window when they catch him in the yard, in hopes it will scare him from coming back. Doesn't seem to work. Black bears in Florida are becoming way over populated, and the tree huggers don't want them hunted. Shooting them on your property isn't an option either, unless you want to chance going to jail. We had a neighbor back in the early 90s who was having his chickens ripped out of their coops by a local bear. Only thing he could do was call the possum sheriff to come out and trap it. Yep, any organization that must exploit children to further their cause is a bad organization. Doesn't matter if I agreed with the ideals of their cause or not. Kids are not old enough to understand the context of what they're saying, nor are they old enough to agree or disagree with ideals that an adult is forcing on them to promote. The reason this happened is because the guilty party was emboldened by the lack of punishment when he was caught doing the same thing only a year ago. By letting these feral creatures back into society without any punishment (probation is NOT punishment), they are actually encouraged by the liberal courts to assault and murder the innocent members of society. All perpetrators who commit unprovoked acts of violence towards innocent people should be put to death. Rape, murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery should all carry an automatic death sentence. Anyone who would commit such acts has no place in society, and doesn't deserve the opportunity for redemption, and surely doesn't deserve freedom. They deserve to die. Painfully.
