1. I'd rather they go full force on us than compromise another inch. At least then it will be a wake up call and perhaps the pendulum will start to swing in the other direction. Incrementalism is working, and so long as we let it work by compromising our rights every few years we will lose in the long run anyway. Let's just get it over with so we can fight the real fight, which is the repealing of the 2nd Amendment.
2.
This occurred to me today... Hollywood can only use "legal" guns in movies.   If it's banned, it can't appear in a Hollywood film.
Haha, that's not how it works. Hollywood gets a special exception. They are part of the "in" crowd.

New handgun

Should be the same on all semi autos.  Pull slightly back on the slide and release to chamber a round.  Using the slide release is unnecessary.  I would recommend the XD if it's a choice between that and the Sig.  Same trigger pull each time as opposed to switching from DA/SA.  That screws up accuracy for most folks, even those who claim it doesn't.  Trigger pull, in my opinion, is the biggest contributer to accuracy problems.
4.     It should go just fine.  No need to even move the rifle.  Just keep it on the bipod pointed down range, take the bolt out the back and run the barrel.... chamber being your point of entry.  Don't run the bore from the front.  You can get a lot of shots in before the range is even cold.
5.   That is exactly right.  With folks like him, it is about control.  If they can't have it their way they want no part of it.  These are the same type of people telling gun owners WE need to compromise.
6.     I also have a Gunvault brand bedside safe.  Looks like those are pretty secure.  Of course, anything can be breached with the proper amount of time and effort.  Since my Gunvault isn't secured to anything I suppose they could just grab it and smash it open later.  Whoopdeedoo I guess.  I only have it so I can access it quickly at night without worrying about having a gun out which my kids can access.  If someone breaks in while I'm gone and scores a $400 Glock I can just claim it on my homeowner's insurance.  Not too worried about that happening as I have 3 dogs and an alarm system.  Pretty sure that'll make them choose a different house after casing mine.
7.   There are quite a few SOD tracks on my iPod.  They were standard for mission prep before a night of terrorizing bad guys.

F*** Egypt.
9.
I quit reading when I got to the part about the "fine up to $100.00".
Ya, I'd wait to be held in contempt of court. I'd take a criminal record before I'd pay such a fine.
10.
I'm gonna say that would NOT be a good idea.  You NEVER want ot call attention to things like that.  The first thing the cowards will do is have that changed and the building properly posted.
In Clarksville you can no longer carry a firearm into council meetings. It's posted. Of course, they did this in response to my former barber going in there and shooting himself in the head during session. I'm not sure how a gunbuster would have stopped that, but hey, everyone feels like they did something, right? A microcosm of the gun control debate.
11. If that law passes, a response such as yours would be a crime. I thought I wouldn't see the kinda crap I'm seeing in my lifetime. The sooner the better I say. Best to get these cockroaches into the light so everyone can see them for who they are.
12. What the hell are people like that so afraid of? Do they think a person bent on shooting up the place would freely admit to carrying a weapon? I don't get the irrational behavior in response to a person carrying a weapon in a responsible manner. Does this guy freak out when he sees an armed cop?
13.
They are going to use it to profile the kids whose parents own guns and then treat those kids differently.   Dolomite
I'm making the same assumption, but this is the question people should be asking so these commie Democrats will be forced to answer.
14. Do you have alcohol in the house? What are your political affiliations? Any porn? What gas mileage do your vehicles get? What religion do you teach to your child? Any of those questions could be rationalized into a relevant question from the school under the same pretense they're peddling. Considering that 1/3 of these parents are gun owners, I'm figuring there are at least one or two that will make a very big deal out of this if it passes, which it probably won't.
15. There is a lot more to it than just that though. I could make a list a mile long, but here are just a couple.... I recall doing a two week field problem when I was a private during which we had to do a security mission for the REMFs at brigade, which included females. The day we conducted this mission the females were trucked out of the field for " personal hygiene maintenance". Sorry, that don't happen for grunts. I would love nothing more than to be able to go back to the rear and wash my nuts after being in the field for a week, but I can't. To what do we owe this policy? Some BS crap about how chicks must wash out their business to stay healthy. That's all well and good, but those nice conditions don't exist in the field. Then let us acknowledge that a female's bone structure isn't designed to have an 80-100lb ruck strapped to it. I haven't met a female yet that could pick up my rucksack, let alone put it on and hump it all day. So what will this mean down the road? It means that females won't be able to pull their weight, and the male soldiers will have to do it for them. I couldn't even fathom what would happen if a male Private told his platoon Sgt that he needed help carrying his crap. If he wasn't beaten stupid for being worthless, he would at least find himself off the line permanently. I'm sorry, there are two different militaries that exist: the Infantry and everything else. Anyone who has seen how the regular Army functions with females versus how things function in the Infantry knows what I'm talking about. The people making these policies have no idea how much they are about to weaken our fighting force with this liberal garbage.
16. I'm really curious as to what decision it drives if the school district knows that you own guns. What are they supposed to do with that information to mitigate a crime? Really curious to know that. I had no idea they tolerated this type of nonsense in Missouri.
17.
There are thousands around the country, also known as prisons and jails ;)
Ha, yes but they are being battered by other men.
18. It's already a crime to allow your kids access to a firearm if they used said firearm illegally. Soooo, not sure what they are accomplishing with that part of the bill. I mean, I fully support legislation which stiffens the penalty for criminally negligent parents who don't secure their firearms and let their thug kids use them for crime. As to the other part, well I'd like to see how they intend to enforce that part. That is getting into 4th Amendment territory. What else is the government going to require that I admit to legally possessing under threat of criminal penalty? I don't see that getting by a challenge from a first year lawyer.
19. Every time I fill the mower. Every time. This is like the "environmental" low-flow toilets that you have to flush 5 times, which wastes twice as much water. I swear, environmentalists are some of the dumbest people on the planet.
20. This is being sold as an equality issue. It is not. Men and women are born physically different. It is for those reasons the infantry was designed the way it was thousands of years ago. Had nothing to do with equality. For those who don't think a difference exists please show me where all the battered men's shelters are.

22.
and all our tax money is jest going down the tubes when it really needs to be put towards something else. No wonder US is getting broke, with doing things like this.
He is investing that money into foreign internal defense projects to create stability in the region so we don't have to get involved in another war there....... BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!..... I almost got that one out with a straight face..... but seriously, a huge waste of money that shoulda gone elsewhere. The only reason it made sense to give this stuff to their military when Mubarak was in power was because we had some degree of control over his regime. These fundamentalists that have taken over Egypt will not be pacified and we should not worry about spending another dime there. While I think diplomacy is always our best option, we should recognize that any diplomatic concessions we make with these monkeys is perceived as weakness, and we should never approach diplomatic relationships with our enemies from a position of weakness. They are our enemy now; their words, not mine. Obama's decision to ignore the problem is directly tied to concerns over his approval rating.

25.
I also notice many anti-gun politicians claim Judaism and family histories that include escape from Nazi occupied countries. Which just don't make no sense to me. but whatever a lot of things don't make sense.
Roger that. As far as Israel is concerned though, there are very close relationships between the Israelis and folks over at Lockheed Martin. If I remember correctly, Lockheed has the contract for their so-called "iron dome" and is supposed to fill an order for a half dozen F-35 jets sometime in the near future. And, based on my understanding aeronautics, the F-35 is twice as good as an F-16... if you multiply 16 x 2 you only get 32, so the jets the Israelis will have is 4 F's better!
