Those people are beyond hope.
That's why she voted for "hope"... right? Of course, if she was showered with riches from Glorious Leader, I doubt we would see any "change" to her station in life. Perhaps she would just have a larger collection of crack rocks and gold teeth while her kids are starved physically, emotionally and educationally. I'll never understand why folks choose to live like this. I'll also never understand how liberals claim that these people don't have a choice.

I don't condone hitting women, but I would have broken that woman's jaw if she pushed me like that. I'm tired of females who want to act like men but aren't prepared to deal with MAN consequences. She got her sorry butt tased (which was awesome) but then her male counterpart stepped in to defend her and she acts like the man had no right to zap a female. Sorry ladies, if you want to be treated equally so badly you're gonna have to learn to take a punch without whining about it or expecting a man to stand up for you.
But came in last week and asked if I'd seen Throne of Bones(as she called it)?
There is no way my wife could get away with saying "Throne of Bones" without me making a sophomoric joke. My wife also enjoys Spartacus, which was surprising. I think it's just for the half naked dudes though. Starz really figured out how to appeal to both crowds with that show.... nude Lucy Lawless. I'm pretty sure she's gonna be banging hot when she's 80.

Machine gun fire from helicopters over Miami
TMF replied to Solver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
No way was that a GAU-19; the rate of fire you hear is no more than 400 rpm which is far to low to be anything we have; even an M2 firing blanks will cycle faster than that. Not to mention it would be dropping .50 brass in the parking lot and on the highway as they made the run which would cause all kinds of damage to vehicles and could potentially injure pedestrians on the ground. That would not make it through any approval process. Not to say that it isn't possible, but I've only seen GAU-19s mounted on Kiowas. I've never seen a little bird with them. Also, how can you tell it isn't coming from the ground? Sounds to me like it could easily come from the ground. Besides that, those little birds aren't positioned for a gun run anyway. It is one directly behind the other flying straight and level. -
I don't mind seeing the Saturday night specials in there, but man to I get mad when I see antiques that cannot be replicated going off to be destroyed.

Huh, looks like it might have been some kind of a flare gun at some point that is missing its rear housing. Some of the old Russian 20mm flare guns look similar to that. It'd be easier if we could see the barrel. I do see an air pistol in that picture.

I think I've mention that before.
Ha, well I'm on the road unfortunately, so I only have my work computer with me, and I've tried to keep it clear of naked chicks to the best of my ability.

I had some really good NSFW photos of some very....... outgoing IDF chicks. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong country.

Machine gun fire from helicopters over Miami
TMF replied to Solver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Ah geez, I've done this at least a dozen times when I was in. In fact, we had a local PD play OPFOR for us once. They came lights and sirens and we engaged and killed them, M4s and machineguns blazing away as we ambushed them in the middle of town, with people and kids stopping to watch the show. -

I assumed that the fire was coming from OPFOR on a roof top or something. There weren't any personnel on the side of those little birds when that automatic fire was going, and if they were running blanks through their mini-guns it wouldn't sound like that. Edit: watching the video again it sounds like a pneumatic gun since it had such a slow rate of fire.. It's not an M4 with blanks and it sure isn't a 240, even at the slowest rate of fire. They probably had a pneumatic gun set up on top of that parking garage to simulate ground fire or something. -
Ah, I see that. I thought I had seen some couplers like that.
It's a molded piece of plastic that inserts like a magazine, so the firer can release the inert plastic and jam a mag real quick. They have some that also attach to your hand guard rail, almost like a forward grip, only it's a magazine. I'm against such things, of course. It won't go bang unless you switch the safety and pull the trigger. If someone can't carry a loaded rifle without having an ND they shouldn't be carrying it. Big plus one that she's carrying it with yoga pants. I can't see why anyone who is Jewish wouldn't live in Israel.

Training. Blanks. Totally normal. Looks like someone one up at Bragg wanted some good per diem rates and a crack at some topless beaches when they submitted this training concept. -
That's how their mag couplers work.
No, it's just a safety feature. Up until last year in Afghanistan our troops had similar devices on their weapons which allowed them to have a mag ready without the weapon being loaded ( on base). Enough green on blue attacks have them carrying a full mag loaded in the weapon now.

Feinstein says collapsible stock makes AR15 full auto
TMF replied to jay1313g's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I fired my uncle's this past Thanksgiving. After a couple mags I was able to get it running at least 700 rpm. I've fire a whole lotta FA M4s and this thing will cycle it nearly as fast. -
Huh, apparently it has been around since 1968 and the ATF has been requiring FFLs to report the transaction to them since 1975. Never knew, but I guess I've never bought more than one handgun at a time. Apparently they just passed one a couple of years ago that requires the same thing for multiple high capacity rifle purchases in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico.

And the only people who will be punished under this law will be law abiding citizens who were unaware they were breaking the law and no intent to break the law or do harm to folks. Way to go lawmakers. Way to go after your citizens while doing nothing to go after actual criminals.

Is there a list of anti 2nd Amendment Actors/Entertainers?
TMF replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, I will give Jolie some credit. Where she lacks in acting ability she still has some human reasoning skills left. I remember when she came to Iraq a year or two after the war started after she had been going on about how we need to pull out and whatnot. Then she spent some time out in Anbar and saw the kind of crap the AQI types were doing to folks, as people begged US troops not to leave. She turned 180 degrees on her earlier stance and recognized that if we left before adequate security was established, many of these people would be slaughtered. -
I saw the photo and thought to myself "why", and then I answered my own question.
I've heard quite a few guns in movies & TV now are airsoft props etc... They add the flash and the noise afterwards. CG special effects are dirt cheap now.
I've noticed this in The Walking Dead a lot. They've always used fake guns (rubber ducks and such) for scenes without shooting, especially fight scenes where the gun would be damaged. From what I understand, there is a company which contracts with various studios and provides the weapons for film... fake and real.
Could be confused with mandatory reporting of the purchase of more than one handgun at a time.
FFLs are required to notify the ATF if you buy more than one pistol at a time? Is that a federal or state law?
I didn't even realize it was on netflix. My wife is the exact same way but she loves game of thrones. I've actually got her into doing the audio books as well. As the series progresses though, magic becomes a bit more infused into the story, which isn't her thing, I'm curious to see how she'll react.
Season one is on there and season two should be out soon if it isn't already out. We still Netflix the old fashioned way by getting it in the mail.
I know a guy personally that was paid a visit by the ATF because they suspected him of selling guns without a license based on the amount of background checks he did in a year. He just bought a lot of them and traded them whenever he was tired of them. 3/4 of the guns he "sold" we're traded into gun shops. the agent whom I spoke with about a separate issue said he knew it was a waste of time but the higher ups wanted it investigated.
How is that even true? The ATF has no access to background check records and there is a law that all information associated with background checks at NICS be destroyed within the next business day unless the background check was held up for whatever reason. Sounds like your source was not truthful.
