Veterans in danger of losing their rights...
TMF replied to KaNuckles's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yep, I practically had to argue with the rep doing my VA paperwork on why I'm not claiming PTSD. Made me wonder about all the people they hit up on the way out who see that as free money and the closest they got to combat was having an indirect round impact near their FOB. -
I've been issued Colt M16's and M4s since the 90's; I am looking at my Colt right now, and I have yet to see anything higher in quality than Bushmaster or RRA. In fact, the finish on these gov't issue Colts suck compared to any of the Bushmasters I've handled. From what I can tell, the only thing I'm getting extra with a Colt is a little horsie stamped on the receiver.

Based on the quality being just as good or better for less money.

Black powder gun not considered a gun legally?
TMF replied to a topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
Ha, indeed. Perhaps if Kwik had taken that approach his antics would be amusing, rather than just sad and pathetic. -

Technically you can go into a store dressed like a member of Gwar armed with a whiffle ball bat, but why would you? -
Bushmasters have always been slightly more pricey than other brands. They're good quality though and have built a reputation I guess. If I recall correctly the Bushmasters I saw at Wally World were in the mid $900's. I'd take a Bushie over a Colt any day, unless I was planning to resell someday, which is something I never plan to do.

I think the best way to fight this is with civil disobedience from New Yorkers. I just don't think that it will happen, since gun owners have abided by the law their whole life, they will likely continue to do so. I think that is what is driving us so mad, because we don't want to break the law and so we are taken advantage of by the left.

Depends on how you quantify "westernized" in regard to a person's view on western philosophy. His father loved western movies and had more Hennessy than all of France, but he hated the fact that 4 ft tall Korean dictators were marginalized by the round eye on a divided Korean Peninsula. I imagine the fat, commie apple doesn't fall far from the People's tree.

I agree. This is why I left the Republican Party. Of course, this is after I discovered the female orgasm wasn't a myth, to reference mikegideon's post

This is actually just business as usual. They have a steady stream of propaganda they put out. The latest stuff may be more provocative, but so is detonating a nuclear device and firing test missiles toward Japan. I don't think this signifies anything other than Kim Jong Il's successor demonstrating that he intends to be just as much a douche nozzle as his father.

I scored at Wally World today. Here's how.

I hear people say this but have never seen it. I've owned one for a long time now and have had at least a dozen others assigned to me. I haven't seen a problem. The Kimber bashing I always see are from fanboys of other brands trying to promote why theirs is better, most likely due to some kind of deep seeded inferiority complex. -
They won't be banned any time soon, at least not here. Save some money an wait a while, then buy it from any place other than CTD.

Which is why it is important to look at all news through the filter of "what are they trying to sell me?" Of course, almost every story that comes out of N. Korea might as well be in the comics section. I do enjoy laughing at them when hey pretend to be tough.
-
They've always been doing this, it's just that a few of their recent propaganda products were especially poor which has made them newsworthy. Since trends are tracked with search engines and website hits, stories like this seem to come out all at once, when in fact it is just the media responding to the popularity of the original stories with more stories that are similar. It's how they make money. Kinda like how there are so many shooting stories at once when there weren't any before. The shootings have always been going on, it's just that no one cared much until a tragic one. How 'bout Syria? The civil war there is raging just as it was a year ago, but there aren't hardly any headlines. Why? People aren't reading the stories so the news has stopped reporting it for the most part.

Hahaha, they think they're people... how cute.

Hey, they tried with the Cain Train. He wasn't white AND he liked the ladies. For some reason he was demonized on both accounts by the press.

TMF replied to tnsyty's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Thank God there are only white people on those targets. Anything else would have been offensive and racist.- 72 replies

Did LAPD Kill Dorner for $1.1 Million ???
TMF replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
While we're at it we need to investigate the killing of Bonnie and Clyde. Obviously they were victims of a police state that was only concerned with stripping people's rights to due process since they were gunned down without opportunity to surrender. -
How is it that the average American doesn't see that all these bills being introduced are specifically designed to target law abiding gun owners. Why are we under attack? If these liberal democrats are so concerned about crime and "the children", how come all their bills only target us? I know the answer to that question, but I'm just amazed that non-gun owners aren't asking it. It just seems obvious that the people committing all these crimes are... well... criminals.

Co-worker says it's illegal to have more than 10,000$ on your person?
TMF replied to timcar86's topic in General Chat
That just doesn't make any sense to me. DHS has a boatload of dogs imprinted on cash. I would assume the standards for certification would be the same for narc and explosives detection dogs. Why have a capability and not standards of certification? That defies logic. -
Nobody told the Democrat what rounds and magazines are made of apparently. Of course, there are those porcelain guns I remember hearing about on Die Hard 2.... those were undetectable, remember?

For whom? -
You can fit a TCP or LCP in .380 in your back pocket. It is smaller than most wallets and very slim.

Good to hear all those murders taking place with 3D manufactured guns will finally come to an end. Really, are all Democrats this f**king stupid or do we only hear about the dumb ones?

There are plenty of agencies with dogs trained to detect cash.
