Hmmm, my method would be wrapping about 30 ft of time fuse around him starting at his legs then ending at a blasting cap shoved up his pee hole. Can't really compete with that kinda physical and psychological torture. The end result would be watching him bleed out very slowly from where his wiener used to be.

I use two one inch Popsicle sticks and cut them at 5 ft each. Then one 8 ft 2 x 4 cut into 2 ft sections. Build a bracket out of the 4 pieces of 2 x 4, making the two crosspieces one inch wide to hold the Popsicle sticks. Then take your two sticks and staple a cardboard silhouette to it with the sticks running down the sides.... plywood will work here too. If the cardboard target is more than 2 ft wide just move the sticks in a little to make it fit into the bracket you made. Then just paste your paper targets to the card board with a staple gun or spray adhesive.... spray adhesive is better.

Where to order .22LR online, for future reference?
TMF replied to graycrait's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I'm on a notification list for just about every type of .22 Midway carries.... nothin yet. -
Ha, yeah, 50% is my starting point. 25% is as high as I'll go.

I absolutely blame the parents. While they aren't criminally responsible they sure as hell are responsible for raising a sorry POS. No remorse for them whatsoever. Their son is worm food and deserves to be; his grave is a monument to their failure.

Yep, next week I'll be making at least half a dozen offers a day. I expect to get a lot of hate mail back, but I'm sure some will bite. It will feel good. Cash is hard to turn down when you need smokes, PBR and baby food.

I am a little upset over the whole thing as we just had a drunk driving POS in my area get a non-existent sentence after pleading guilty for the vehicular homicide of a local woman while he was driving drunk. He will be a free man very shortly while the woman he murdered is in the ground, forever. A similar case last year only gave a few years probation to a woman who murdered a man while she was drunk driving.... she had half a dozen prior drunk driving arrests. Our legal system has failed us. It has left folks with no choice but to take the law into their own hands in order for justice to be done. Maybe if our legal system wasn't infected with pro-crime judges and slimy lawyers on both sides we might find justice. Now I'm all pissed off again. I'm one of the few people who watched Law Abiding Citizen and wished it had ended differently.

There was no temptation there, just a reaction brought on by a momentary mental break. Not guilty by reason of insanity. On another note, perhaps if our legal system treated drunk drivers as more than a moving violation folks would think twice about it; or maybe not. I guess I don't know the answers. What I do know is that the fatal consequences of driving drunk are very real and clear. No, we can't legislate people into doing the right things, but we can SEVERELY punish those who do the wrong things. I would sleep better at night if vehicular homicides caused by drunk driving was punishable by death. Anyone who drinks and gets behind the wheel is not just taking a chance with their life, they are taking a chance with the lives of innocent folks. There is no way to argue that. On those occassions that they kill an innocent they should be treated the same as any other premeditated murderer. I hope this 20 year old POS is rotting in HELL right now. I hope the parents of this 20 year old drunk driving POS spend the rest of their lives knowing they are responsible for putting that life taking human garbage on this planet. I hope this father is found not guilty and set free. I hope that in the future more fathers do this.

I actually found out about this story from a link my wife sent me on Yahoo News. I saw it second here and third on The Drudge. This is actually pretty mainstream, although will not go much further since the two animals are black. Had the baby been black and the animals been white (or white-hispanic) then that town would be turned into a circus and we'd be hearing about this every day for a month.... oh, and folks would be calling it a hate crime rather than just two animals that need to be put down. EDIT: Looks like this is top news on Yahoo now, just under China's increased pressure on NK. So it's pretty mainstream.

I think I'll keep a couple grand on hand for 'ol Jim Bob. I have every intention of making low ball offers on these clowns that cleaned out retailers and are now looking at their CC statement wondering how they're going to pay it. Jim Bob needs to feel pain for what he is trying to do to honest gun owners. I will be scooping up as many rifles I can at 25% below retail value. At least I'll have a good collection to pass on to my kids.

I would advise against doing that. I've carried a 1911 for a few years now and have had a couple of instances where the safety was flipped off while carrying, and I didn't know it until I unholstered at the end of the day. Of course, mine has an ambi-safety, so chances are it was switched when I bumped into something, but I still wouldn't rule out the possibility that my lovehandles hit it from the other side. As you know, it doesn't take much to set that trigger off, so having it exposed could open it up to being bumped by foreign objects. If it were my I'd just carry it half-cocked and call it good.

No. You have to go through customs when entering into the country, just like when you drive over the border from Mexico or Canada. After you go through customs you are free to leave if that is your final destination. If you have a follow on flight you are routed to a TSA screening checkpoint, same as if you are just checking into the airport. Most airports have a TSA screening area (Dulles and Atlanta for example) that is specifically for folks connecting from an international flight. These checkpoints are usually very quick. Other airports, like Houston, make you go through with folks who are just showing up for their flight, which means you're screwed if the line is long. When I returned through Houston from Mexico we had only an hour to make the connection. We happened to be flying first class that day, so we were able to skip the incredibly long TSA line and get right through. Had we been flying economy we would have been stuck in Houston for quite a while. Once again, I hate our government. I hate that they have made things so inefficient and there is no recourse to change that. If private security was to handle security screening there would be recourse. Folks could be fired for inefficiency rather than being promoted. Complaints would actually translate to action, ass opposed to statements claiming that "agents acted according to policy."

That was only Marsof, not the Marines in general. Different funding means different cool guy equipment.

The manner in which I would snap if this was my child would be biblical.

Gotcha, my problem is making a connection when returning on an international flight. Dulles is pretty easy compared to other places like Chicago in terms of rechecking your bags and going though security. From what I remember from returning to the US via Houston it was kind of a nightmare because they make you go through the regular entry lines to TSA after rechecking your bags (or at least that's how it was 6 years ago). I don't fear the TSA holding me up when returning; just customs. 3 hours at customs absolutely translates to a missed connecting flight for most people. That is just effing stupid, especially when the next direct flight to my final destination will be a full 24 hours. I hate our government. I just hate them.

Pharaoh Obama can't eat without official "Taster"

Obama is not the problem, he is just a symptom of the problem. -
I rarely laugh out loud. This is one of those rare occasions.

Kerry Commits U.S. To U.N. Arms Trade Treaty Gun Ban
TMF replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Hmmm, I remember hearing that once.... or twice. -
TSA has nothing to do with customs. They only have 2 lanes at the TSA recheck coming from the international terminal anyhow in Dulles. Going through a TSA scanner takes no time. Going through customs takes a lot longer, especially if there are only a few agents staffed. Yay.

You'd really be shocked at how many locking blocks I've broken on M9s. Doesn't seem to be a problem with civi 92Fs or maybe folks just aren't putting as many hard miles on them. Somewhere between 500-1000 rounds per day for several days at a time could be it, or perhaps the military stamped locking blocks are different metallurgy than the civi ones. Best I can tell from locking blocks my personal 92F and an issued one is the stamp.

Not looking good for my connection in DC in a few days. Guess I might as well get a hotel room and call some buddies in the area.

Some upcoming academic research on gun violence - good news?
TMF replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in General Chat
I think the media blitz on gun control in the wake of Sandy Hook had the opposite effect on the general public than the liberals intended. Of course, liberal gun grabbers will never, ever attempt to educate themselves on gun violence and look at solutions objectively, since their goals have nothing to do with reducing violence. They just want to disarm the law abiding public. I think the media blitz forced otherwise ignorant people to seek out information, and with very basic research anyone can see that gun laws do no deter criminals, nor is violence with standard capacity military style rifles a common occurrence despite the media's representation otherwise. I think many middle of the road Americans recognized that the media was misleading them with bogus and misleading facts and that is why all this gun control nonsense has lost steam. Not to say that it won't happen again if there is another mass shooting, but we should take note that when the dust settles and folks have a chance to think critically, we will win the argument. -
The 21ft rule - fail "these officers did not have to get cut"
TMF replied to mcurrier's topic in Training Discussions
Yeah, if this guy was in Seattle he'd be doing this non-stop... so he'd be just another crazy guy yelling at people on the street.
