Why file charges when you know a jury is going to find him not guilty when the defense raises reasonable doubt? Was he in fear for his life? Likely. There is no victim in this case and no hope of conviction. Who in their right effing mind would press charges?

Oil, oil, oil.

I have a SAR-3 from Century and it has always functioned flawlessly with reasonable accuracy. I haven't fired it at anything past 100m so I can't speak for its ability to use as a sniper rifle, but I'll go ahead and assume it isn't a match quality gun, and I'm totally okay with that. As for a recent Century AK I've molested, their Yugo AK pistol is very, very nice. I was impressed after shooting it and learning it was from CAI. I was going to buy one but went in another direction after a different brand.

Thank you again for making my day. -

I wouldn't go that far just to feel better about my mosin. It appears to me that he was able to achieve that mirror finish on his own. I'm pretty curious as to how, since I doubt he found all 4 mosins with spotless bolts, or maybe he did. If that is something I can get done in two beers or less I'm in. -

Mine have the dark blotches on them. Some parts are still shiny but most of the bolt handle is dingy looking. The bolts here look damn near chromed. Would be pretty cool to get them looking like that. -

How he get them bolts so shiny? I'm a little embarrassed at my mosins now. -
If they do one in my area I'd be there. Nothing illegal about it and an opportunity to pick up something neat for cheap.

She's badass smokin', ya know, if you're into chicks.

I too read all three at the suggestion of my wife. I felt like the last one got a little to sci-fi for my imagination, but an entertaining series to read. I get that it's geared towards teens, but it's not like we're talking about the gay vampire books. Some of the concepts in this book are very adult, such as the desperate fight to survive along with an oppressive government and ruling class that has lost touch with the citizenry and how that evolves from minor acts of defiance into full blown revolution.

BS, in my opinion. They should have taken them to court in order to show fault and there should be a criminal trial for the cops that did this. Sorry, but under no circumstances ever, ever is what they did excusable. These cops have no business having a badge. But hey, at least they gots their money.

I don't understand why wannabes who go out of their way to imitate law enforcement just don't become cops themselves. I mean, I guess I'm glad they don't since obviously this is about wanting to look like an authority figure which suggests they have some serious inferiority issues. Just doesn't make any sense. What a bunch of losers. -
Anti's to go after black and smokeless powder next...

So you think the ATF is cool with folks making their own ANFO to blow stumps? I always wondered how that would work. Considering the widespread use if the tannerite stuff, which I think is just ANAL, I guess it wouldn't be a big deal, huh? Wish I lived in the country. -
How would that even happen? I someone used a pistol in a murder, then was dumb enough NOT to ditch it and instead sold it to another person, how would anyone ever know that the weapon you hold was used in a crime? There isn't some great database with every barrel striation tagged to a serial number. Of all the things that could keep a person up at night this should not be one of them. Worst case scenario, if somehow the firearm was stolen and sold to you then you will be out the money you paid for it if it ever gets tracked to you.

Pure gold. It's rare that I laugh at a person to their face... this would be such an occasion. -

As far as I'm concerned the parents can see their son when we ship his carcass back to Russia. Screw his family. I love my kids, and will love them no matter what they do, but I would absolutely condemn their actions if they committed violent crimes such as murder. The father should be denied entry based on his previous comments. -
Bounty Hunters Break into Home Against Will of Homeowner
TMF replied to TMF's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Just off the top of my head, remember Randy Weaver's buddy who was found to be justified in the shooting of a Fed Marshal? Happens enough I suppose. Wasn't there a case here in TN not too long ago where a guy killed a Sheriff's Deputy on their property and found to be justified? -

In this case not only was the skip not in the residence, he hadn't been there for years. Seems to me the criteria required for them to force entry wasn't met. They should have been shot dead and harvested for soap and lamp oil. -
Yeah I was responding to the OP. I wouldn't dream of correcting you unless I had a combination of Wikipedia, google, a dictionary and a thesaurus open all at the same time.

You can't boil water hotter than the temp that water boils at. It will just become vapor. So, once water is boiling, that's as hot as it gets.... somewhere around 212 degrees depending on where you live. Don't know if that's what you meant.

I keep a .380 holstered in the visor so I don't have to unholster and relocate my sidearm while driving.

Homework Promotes Anti-American View of World War Two
TMF replied to ironsniper1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I was watching The View months back (I know) and Joy Behar made a comment about Republicans being historically racist going back "hundreds" of years. Nobody corrected her on which party abolished slavery and which opposed the abolition of such. If you asked the average American which party housed the abolitionist movement they'd say the Democrats. -
I miss George Washington.
