  1. Ahhh, c'mon. That's my favorite cartoon to watch other than South Park.
  2. That raises my confidence a little. What I'd love to have is a Krink style folder on mine that locks up on the left hand side, but that takes a bit more professional work. I'll probably stick with something simple. Mine isn't a Draco though, it's built on a Polish receiver.
  3. I've always liked the rear peep sight on an AK since I shot a buddy's Galil 15 years ago. The issue has always been the wobble in the receiver covers I've seen. Glad to hear that one is solid, I may do that to mine. I haven't figured out if I want it to look old school or tacticool yet.
  4. It's almost like he's been reading all these threads on TGO. I don't agree with him pigeon holing this as a white issue. I may not know a whole bunch of black folks, but the ones I do know would be in the same category as me; working class tax payers that do not approve of this administration pushing us to the brink. Having been in the army I've worked with more Hispanics from places like Mexico and the Dominican Republic than I could count, and they're Facebook pages are riddled with anti-Obama memes. This isn't a white issue at all. It is a middle class, backbone of America issue.
  5. I'm just a little worried about doing something I can't undo, especially after waiting so long for a stamp to come back. One of those things I would want to outsource to someone that has done quite a few.
  6. That certainly is a different look. Goes well with the reciever cover. Couple questions, who did the work to mount your Ace stock and what company makes your reciever cover?
  7. Translation: "Y'all forgot about that NSA stuff, right?"
  8. I didn't even see his show listed the other day on The Drudge when it had a breakdown of viewership for all the cable news shows, so it has to be so low they didn't even bother putting it up. I'm gonna guess less than 300,000, so more people watch Kelly and Chica on the Sunny Side Up show each day than Chris Matthews. I do like me some Kelly in the morning though... probably not the only one I guess.
  9. McAfee did the same thing when I used to go to some .mil sites when I was I'm the army. I doubt there was anything sinister done at the hands of McAfee, other than the murder of his neighbor in Belize. Perhaps the site was reported as an attack site by people who don't like Kirk Cameron. Carol maybe?
  10. This is clearly a shameless stunt to drum up sales and website hits so they can sell advertising space on an already failing and irrelevant rag. Hopefully the next terrorist attack will happen at Rolling Stone headquarters. I bet they wouldn't put them on their cover.
  11. There is no answer. They are simply too powerful. Our only bargaining chip is to flip sides to oust any incumbent on the ballot. It will be painful for everyone, but I bet it will get results that won't be soon forgotten.
  12. Simple liberal logic. All black people are Trayvon Martin. This makes all white people his killer. Hispanics aren't on the hook for this one.
  13. Yep, whenever there is a sensational story that immediately makes you angry, go ahead and think about who will benefit from your anger. Then read the story again.
  14. Well the story said the police were withholding the description of the suspect and the vehicle while they pursue "leads". I dunno what that translates to in regard to the investigation, but I assume it means they have a pretty good idea who did it. Otherwise I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't release the description to the public.
  15. I thought you could make your own explosives for personal use, such as stump removal and such. I never really looked into it, but once you make your explosive you would need an initiator, which would complete the device yet make it an "IED", right?
  16. I agree, the two parties simply have too much power. So much that I don't think a third party can be successful in ousting these guys conventionally. I think an unconventional approach, one that we can realistically apply, could destroy the corrupt system and cause it to be reinvented.... maybe "for the people" and all that. We have to end the days of career politicians. That is the start, and we can launch from there. 10% of the voting population can swing the majority of elections. I'd say there are at least 10% of voters that do not identify with either party, and don't know how powerful they are.
  17. Huh? They're private organizations and they can restrict whatever they want. If it was an evil plot by Facebook then why am I bombarded with links to it on my Facebook page right now? Sounds to me like one of two things are happening, or a combination of the two. Possible that some group of aholes reported links as spam or abusive to Facebook and they took immediate action before looking into it. Facebook is notorious for that. So once it was brought to their attention that it wasn't spam or abusive they lifted the ban. Either that or Kirk Cameron is trying to drum up publicity to sell tickets.... nothing does that like appealing to a person's emotions by creating an enemy that doesn't exist.
  18. They would not be stupid enough to prosecute this and suffer another embarrassment. They're starting to pile up. They'll just keep this "investigation" open long enough so they can cow-tow to the racists animals and stoke the racial fires. When folks move onto the the next vogue topic they'll quietly close this one up.... maybe Kony 2014?
  19. He pretty much nailed it, screw em. I do have to disagree with "OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS, ROLLING STONE HAS BECOME LESS AND LESS ABOUT MUSIC, AND HAS BECOME MORE AND MORE ABOUT BULLS**T" Rolling Stone has been going downhill much longer that, this is a new low though. I've been running Metal on Pandora for the past few weeks, and have rediscovered Disturbed. I use to have a hard time listening to their music years back because I took some of their anti-war lyrics a little personal. But I have to say, I love it when they reinvent music from the 80's. I didn't know they did "Shout".... effing awesome!
  20. I think it would be setting our hopes too high to get third party candidates into the White House. However, I don't think it is far fetched to overthrow everyone in power when their term is up. It only takes a small percentage of voters to swing an election, but it would require that some folks who would otherwise vote for a republican would have to vote for a democrat and vice versa. If every (or at least a significant percentage) of incumbents were fired every time their term was up it would end the age of career politicians and force them to go to work for us. Those corrupt bags of sh**, reps and dems, up in DC will do anything to hang on to power. We can use that against them to get what we want.
  21. Delicious pancakes topped with some good 'ol fashioned syrupy racism.... mmmm. Just kidding, I love me some Paula.
  22. Nancy needs to get her stereotypes correct. He isn't of Mexican descent, his mom came from Peru. I don't know any good Peruvian stereotypes, but I don't think churros are their thing. Maybe it was making fun of him because he's overweight, but then again, she lives in a glass house on that one too. At any rate, I hope she doesn't lose her show, she entertains me as do many cartoon characters.
  23. I don't sweat it. Much of the stuff I will slowly rotate out in a few years and begin to replace with new stuff. The stuff I rotate out will go to the homeless shelter. I grew up in Florida and this is what we did with all our canned goods every few years.
  24. Like Timothy McVeigh? I believe that was his goal.
  25. I worked for Walmart for three years. They paid me exactly what they said they would when I was hired. It isn't up to you to decide what your employer should pay you, it is up to them. It's their money. I advanced myself in the short time I worked there and made more than others. I quit for another job opportunity. At no time have I ever worked for an employer where I thought I was entitled to more, and I was in the Army for quite a while. If I wanted more I would not have chosen a certain or profession along the way. When I felt I was not making enough or wanted more money I found another job. That is how life works. Walmart is a private company that exists to make money. It is up to the private entity to decide how much to pay in exchange for labor, and as long as the wages are acceptable there will be people willing to work there. The only people that I believe should and deserve to be paid more are folks who receive my tax dollars, such as teachers, firefighters and law enforcement. Those aren't private organizations, and I do feel I have a voice in what they make since I pay the bill. Private business, I could care less. Don't like it, don't work there. It is that easy.
