Still seems to fit to call these people anarchists. Perhaps their motives for wanting no government control are different from yours, but their desire for the lack of control is the same. Just because they want it for the purpose of burning cop cars and stealing televisions doesn't mean anarchy is not their goal; chaos is simply their motive. So, they are anarchists, just not your brand of it. There is no place in modern history that anarchy has not devolved into total chaos. It creates a combination of a power vacuum that WILL be exploited and a consequence free environment for the underbelly of human nature to thrive in. It will always result in the meek being robbed, raped and murdered by the mob in numbers you can't imagine followed by a totalitarian regime or warlord who will fill the vacuum of power, then adopt a "join or die" policy. This has played out on the continent of Africa hundreds of times in recent history. It played out on the streets of Baghdad for days after the Ba'ath party skipped town. It happened in places like Tampa and LA when police chose to seal off an area rather than actively engage the anarchists who were robbing, raping and murdering. It happens in places like Somalia and Sudan several times in a decade. Anarchy doesn't imply chaos, it is the mother of chaos.

When you see true anarchy you'll know what I'm talking about.

Just watched the movie. Hard to swallow the "Brad Pitt is humanity's last hope" garbage. It's easier to believe in zombies than the series of impossible scenarios he manages to be the near sole survivor of along with him knowing more about the infection than every disease research center in the world despite not being a medical professional. I imagine Max Brooks got knee walking drunk after watching the final cut of this.

I have issues with things going in my ear, especially Q-tips, so I use a cleaning fluid I get from Walgreens and one of those plastic ear cleaners (similar to a Q-tip, but plastic with ribbing). I can't go to town like other folks. Perhaps it's from having too many ear infections as a kid, but I can't stand the sensation of getting a Q-tip too deep in there. The solution seems to clean well and the plastic thingy is wide enough that it won't go to deep by accident.

There is a different president now and the DOJ is run by someone who would otherwise be in jail the rest of his life. -
Either I'm using it incorrectly or we have different definitions of the word. When I call someone an anarchist I'm referring to one who does not want any type of government or authority. Anarchy is the lack of any government control (or whatever you can come up with that would be synonymous with government). I realize that there are some anarchists out there who believe in some BS utopia that could exist in the absence of government, but the truth is anywhere there is anarchy there is unbridled violence. I've seen it once. Anyone else who has seen it knows. That's the category I put people who seek anarchy so they can exploit it. Anarchist.

It isn't against their religion. Just more whining.

That's just it, the anarchists I'm referring to don't give two craps about justice or government intervention; they are just looking for an excuse to burn stuff, thumb their nose at authority and interrupt civilized society. It doesn't have to be about Trayvon. They just need a reason to latch on to so they can exploit it. The Trayvon thing is nothing more than a national "flash mob" like we see at Walmarts and convenience stores. This people may not describe themselves as "anarchists" or do they pick up the latest copy of Anarchist Monthly, but they are anarchists nonetheless. The ultimate hypocrisy as they survive on government handouts and loot pillaged from the civilized earners. If they cared about justice they'd be protesting at government buildings and things like that. Blocking the interstate, burning cars, looting stores.... that's all opportunistic anarchists.

We can take a page from the liberal book. This is the chapter on "incrementalism".

I think, deep down, even the lynch Zimmerman crowd believe this is all BS. The only ones trying to keep this going are anarchists and folks that benefit from the diversion. Since it has lost all its steam, I'd say this is over. On to the next high profile case. Maybe we can talk about that awful POS waste of oxygen who murdered her twins as they were born only to have the death penalty taken off the table at the outset?

So did America survive? Did anyone actually show up to any of these things in cities that matter?

Maybe at one time. It made its way into our vernacular due to Cpl Klinger and his propensity to wear women's clothing. Of course, in today's military a dude can run around in women's panties and a skirt and it would be intolerant to say, "hey, that guy is a little crazy. Maybe he shouldn't be going patrol."

Doesn't matter much for flooring. A gunshot wound with any caliber that causes someone to bleed out is gonna get in your subfloor. Even a pint of blood looks like a gallon once it is on a surface. I don't know if my homeowner's insurance would cover it, but I'd try to claim it.

On one hand I believe he deserves death for his crime. On the other hand, can you think of a more appropriate sentence than living the next 30-40 years confined in your own body? That bullet that severed his spine did much more than incapacitate the threat, it doomed him to a life of confinement while confined. He gets to be inside his own head until his last day, and will have on demand health care to ensure he doesn't croak off too early. -

I hope this guy lives a loooooong life after his conviction and solitary confinement. He doesn't even have the option of killing himself. -
How much was it? What power source does it use? Or should I say, what is the intended means power it, cigarette lighter adapter or hard wired?

Still not a problem to lend to folks from other states, so long as ownership isn't being transferred.

Can multiple external cameras be plugged into this in order to use it like a multiplexer? Also, what file format does it record the information? Is it proprietary or google earth type files (kmz, kml, csv)?

He'll get charges reduced and sentenced to probation, just like all the previous convictions. Why not commit armed robbery when there is zero consequence?

I was behind one on an exit ramp off Briley that took it to too fast, hit the first post of the guard rail square and flipped a few times. Probably going 50-60. Got out to help, truck was laying on its side. Driver was not wearing a seatbelt. Windshield had a solid face print on the passenger side, with the driver contorted and semi-conscious on the pavement inside of the truck. I'm not a cop or an EMT. I took a 40 hour first responder course when I was 17 and remembered that you don't move someone with potential spinal injuries. So instead of trying to get him out of the truck in a more comfortable position I spoke to him through the windshield and explained why he needed to try to sit still as he may have neck/spinal injuries. If I know this than cops should know this. As to how they removed her from the vehicle, I can't say for certainty they didn't act according to what they knew in the heat of the moment. When you factor in her attempting to move the vehicle and being unresponsive to commands I suppose there is a high chance that the officers would interpret that the way they did. What is inexcusable is how they took someone with potential injuries or potential medical issues and put her face down on the pavement, handcuffed and just walked away. I don't care if it was for 10 seconds or 10 minutes. There is no excuse that ANYONE could ever come up with for that. Once she was secure the officers' next priority of work is to safeguard from injury and assess what they can from the accident victim in terms of injury, not put her on the pavement and walk away. That move was punitive and needs to be addressed.

Ha, well feel free to send me a PM if you get rolled up. Point I'm making though is that getting charged with carrying past a posting is something that isn't happening. There are only a few cases I've seen discussed here and each one the carrier was doing something stupid, like having their firearm in the carry on luggage at the TSA checkpoint; not just carrying past a posting. I think we'll see a few people get charged with this over the years and the common thread will be they were breaking another law along with this one, or trying to argue over a posting's validity when spotted by the owner/management. These are the type of people I don't feel bad for. I've seen a several stories in the news as well as several accounts here of folks carrying past a posting and then simply being told to leave or stow it in their vehicle. By all accounts it seems that even if you mistakenly carry past a posting, it will not result in being charged unless you're doing something stupid.
