Well that ain't no good. I assume that means they have thermal sights and such as well. There is no reason any country we provide aid to needs that capability, especially when it will end up in the wrong hands some day. Hell, isn't the big reason their tanks got smashed during the Gulf War because the vastly targeting capability?

I don't think schools need to "accommodate" for any religion. If kids wish to practice their religion, such as prayer and such, they should be able to do so without the school providing anything for them. That would be where I draw the line. I hate that ACLU types will argue that by not providing something then you are infringing on rights. Rights are not tangible, you just have them by default. You don't need anyone to provide you with anything to exercise your rights; you just do.

Just curious, did these guys get the high speed gunnery equipment to allow them to accurately shoot while moving? I don't have a background in armor, but I remember hearing that the M1s we were giving the IA didn't have the same capability as ours. Would make sense in case we ever have to fight them again.

Well they're using them to shwack the Muslim Brotherhood. For all the crap we've been bitching about in regard to giving them military aide, it appears that the Egyptian military are the only ones in the world right now dealing death to the Muslim Brotherhood and doing their best to protect Christian Egyptians. This is how they handle "occupy" protesters; bulldozers and fire.

Stories like this prove how racist the media is. The irony is that we're the ones labeled as racist, although we don't blame the entirety of the black community for the actions of the few, however, had the races been reversed it would have been used as proof at how racist the white community is.

I think this is a good take away right here. If people become so outraged over a student expressing their religion (this one being Islam) it opens up the door to zero tolerance policies for kids of any religion. Who is the school to say that your relationship with God ends when you step on school property? I don't agree with that at all. Kids have the right to prayer and other expressions of religion. I don't think it should be endorsed on way or the other by the school, as that creates an environment of exclusion or compulsory religious participation, but I'll never understand how a child choosing to pray, wearing a cross, reading the bible or saying "God bless you" infringes on the religious freedoms of anyone else. The same as I don't see how reading a Quran, praying towards a rock in Mecca 5 times a day or fasting during Ramadan infringes on the religious freedoms of anyone else. So long as it isn't endorsed by the school there is no infringement. We HAVE to extend this to all religious backgrounds or none of it is okay.

Whatever, light sabre is the way to go.

So once again, anyone can write anything on the Internet with out providing facts and still be successful in spinning people up about something that likely never took place.

Try these http://news.yahoo.com/tucson-schools-465-000-arab-charity-muslim-brotherhood-160205984.html http://www.wnd.com/2012/05/muslim-brotherhood-infiltrates-u-s-public-schools/ http://dailycaller.com/2013/07/03/tucson-schools-to-take-465000-from-arab-charity-with-muslim-brotherhood-ties/ http://brian-therightperspective.blogspot.com/2012/05/nyc-public-school-requires-arabic.html http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2013/07/08/tucson-schools-get-grant-from-islamic-charity-tied-to-muslim-brotherhood/ None of these have anything to do with the original post. I don't care if the KKK donates money to a public school.

He wasn't an illegal, he had a green card. I actually read about half the story, then got too pissed to read the rest. I took a deep breath and read on and saw that he never submitted for his citizenship. If he had he probably would just be another American convict. My give a crap meter isn't registering though, it's his fault. There aren't illegal aliens in the military unless they have a stolen identity, so that should answer about them getting clearances.

I think that's an argument we don't want to make. There are more than just the Ten Commandments. There's many, many more as I'm sure you know. If we go down that list, and acknowledge the punishment for some of those offenses, it makes the examples you have above look pretty mild. I'm on no way endorsing Islam, but you need to understand many of the same arguments we make about the Quran being full of stories about bloodthirsty savages can be made about the Old Testament. It's a losing argument. How about we just focus on equal freedoms of religious expression for everyone, regardless of what some sheep rapers on the other side of the planet are doing in the name of theirs?

First off, that article is so rife with falsehoods it would take all day to weed through it to individually debunk it. Let us just admit that the article was written with emotion rather than fact. I would have respect for this story as being newsworthy if it didnt have so much biased misinformation. I think it would stand fine on its own if we just focused on the fact that Islamic posters were put up and Christian posters were taken down. But we don't know that as fact, do we? Trust me, I wholeheartedly disagree with one religion being promoted over another in a public run institution. I don't, however, have ANY problem with children of ANY faith expressing their religion in school so long as it doesn't interfere with the education of others. I went to a small high school where we held prayer every morning before class in the quad. It wasn't compulsory, but there we posters in the hallway all the time for bible study and special religious events and holidays. If there was an Islamic club I wouldn't have any problem with them doing the same. I'm not going to flip my lid over this one since the article is so obviously biased and designed to elicit emotions as opposed to reporting fact, which makes the rest of the information in the story suspect. If the school is not allowing Christian based organizations to do the same the let's get the pitchforks. Let's see what the school says about it.

First off, this noncitizen committed a serious felony. There is no way around that. I realize it wasn't a violent crime, however it was a felony just the same. He doesn't respect the laws of our country and doesn't deserve to be a citizen. Secondly, I think the author confuses deportation as an additional punishment on top of prison time; it isn't. Being deported is not a punishment. It is a foreigner losing their privilege to be here. Is it a "punishment" if you get kicked out of a night club for acting like a fool? No. It is simply the night club saying that you have lost the privilege to be there. These veterans who go on to commit crimes have lost that privilege, same as any other foreigner who comes to our country and does not respect our laws. I don't see what the conflict here is. The author, convict and these liberal politicians are making this out to be "not fair" because regular Americans aren't deported when they commit a crime. I don't see how that is even an argument. Of course Americans are deported; they're freaking citizens! Why should we not deport a foreigner who has shown themselves to be criminal trash??? Because they wore a uniform? Well so did I, so does that put me in a different category than the rest of America if I decide to commit a crime? WTF? On another note, as a veteran I've been getting pretty tired of this nonsense I've been seeing over the years of vets being used as pawns in the greater political arena, much in the same way other minority groups are used to generate emotions, manipulate votes and leverage support for whatever BS cause that has nothing to do with the actual people they claim to support. I don't like it. Whenever I see a politician trying to be a champion of veteran's rights I want to see what the left hand is doing.

I used to love filling up in GA when it was in the low $.80s per gallon. Cheaper than FL and SC/NC.

I don't see what one has to with the other. If you are not a citizen and you come to this country and commit crimes you should be kicked out. That statement should have no asterik next to it. I realize that many DO come here and don't do squat, commit crimes and get the revolving door. I don't think that is excusable either. What I am left to wonder is how that one guy served in the Marines for 8 years and never got his citizenship. That doesn't smell right. I remember seeing low ranking guys with only a few years of service getting their citizenship. Either this guy has other issues or he was just lazy for not applying and doing the work to get his citizenship. Either way, I don't care. F*** him. He wasn't a US citizen and he committed a felony, which will get you deported. He knew the rules and he made his choice. This article is written in a way that I'm supposed to feel bad for him because at some point he was living the American dream in a nice house and running his own business. That all sounds awesome up until he broke the rules. I fail to see how everything he did up until he decided to be a drug dealer has anything to do with him being deported. In fact, I'm willing to bet that this isn't the first time he was involved in such criminal activity. You don't just wake up one day and decide you're going to be a drug dealer in large amounts of illegal drugs. He was sentenced to 4 years. That isn't for a couple baggies of weed. It is a simple equation: Non-citizen + felony drug dealing = deportation Having been in the military does not fit into that equation. I'm tired of stories where I'm supposed to feel bad for people who are SOLELY responsible for their own woes in life.

"I've got more time in a T-10 than you got in a T-shirt!" One of my favorite old guy things I've heard said.

I was about to get it but then I saw the description of it being a love story of some kind. No thanks.

There are anti-gun Easter eggs all over Lethal Weapon 3 and I think 4... maybe even part 2. The first one was good, but they kept sneaking in so much leftist activism into the plots of the subsequent movies.

Trying to get a reaction out of you? Just a few posts back you made a smart remark about the fact my father used to be a cop, as if to suggest that because of this there is something wrong with me. That is not only insulting my father and his lifetime of service to the community, but also insulting me, and you are suggesting that somehow I've done something more insulting? I went so far as to not even acknowledge it, but now I am since you want to play the victim. There is nothing in this thread I would not say directly to your face. However, there is no way in hell you would insult me and my father, or anyone's father, to their face. That makes you a cute little puppy. That is a personal insult you can actually credit me with.

If I had money to bet I would would bet on that.

No doubt you can. Of course, my EDC knives are always in the $50 and below range for a reason.... I tend to lose them sometimes. I would never carry a $500 EDC type like the Sebenza; not because they aren't great knives, but because I don't trust myself. My CR sits in my safe. It does not come out to play and probably never will. If I ever was to mar it I would not be able to send it back to CR. It is irreplaceable and I would never, ever trust it to any parcel service.

This is no way addresses what I was getting at. I'm not even sure what you're arguing at this point. That is what I call incoherent babbling. I can't help that you are offended by that.

I use one of those nifty Gerber pocket sharpeners for my pocket knives. Every month or so my S&W or Gerber gets a little dull I run it through a few times and get it razor sharp again in 30 seconds. I'm not a knife guy though other than my beat up daily carry. I do have a very expensive Benchmade and a stupid expensive Chris Reeve, but those don't see any action to dull them up.

If wild game became the primary source of meat then animals like deer would disappear even if our population was 1/4 what it is right now. The woods would be more packed than the cities when you consider the number of people who think bugging out to the nearest state park will be the answer. Year round hunting of wild game by thousands of times more hunters would destroy the critter population and make much of them extinct in no time at all.

Nowhere in this incoherent babbling do you make any sense or address what I said.
