1. My 17 still has occasional brass to face.  It was terrible when I first got it, so Glock sent me a replacement recoil spring.  Then I installed the updated ejector as well as an APEX extractor.  These parts combined improved brass to face dramatically, but I still have erratic ejection patterns with occasional BTF.  Overall I like the gun, but I prefer M&P.
2.   I like your style sir!
3.     I'm right there with you.  I'm looking at more lowers just to Form1 them.
4. Boom!!   Got mine back in 19 days...incredible.
5.     Great deal on the tirant if you decide to go that route.
6. That was the AAC evo 9 and from what I understand, silencershop won't be getting anymore of those.    Edit-apparently they have another shipment: http://www.silencershop.com/shop/aac-evolution-9/   I would still spend the extra cash for the octane....   I have an octane 9 and a tirant 45.  I would get the octane....suppression is on par with the tirant, but you get stainless baffles and fouling never touches the tube due to their baffles design.  The tirant is a PITA to clean.    You will not be disappointed in the octane.
7. I have a Syrac gen II and the click adjust is well worth it.  I had a Kies and had to loctite it all the time and it never stayed where I wanted it.  Click adjust resolved that issue, but at a higher price point.  I would definitely (and plan to on future builds) buy another one.    I also have a Rainier barrel for 300blk and it has been a great barrel.  Rainier is high quality.
8. I'm also interested in what others have to say about building one.  That seems like a decent price to get started.
9. JBO has 10% Geissele triggers right now FYI.
10. What gen is your Glock?  I have a gen 4 g17 and was having brass to face all the time.  I sent it back for the recall ejector and installed the APEX extractor.  It still does it occasionally, but it is dramatically improved.
11. I guess I'm in the minority here, but it just seems like a waste of money to me.
12. What 45 can on that 1911?   Edit- NVM, now I see it is an Osprey.
13. All I sent was trust including schedule A and mine was approved a few weeks ago.  I sent mine before they shut it down, so mine took 4 months but recent ones have been approved in as little as 35 days or so.  It's time to send them another one!  I've got a Noveske lower begging to be an SBR.
14. I guess I am in the minority here, but I just did not like the vortex pst 1-4.  The reticle was horrible IMO.  It was far too small and the mil hashes were tiny and ran together for me.  There is no way I could get an accurate holdover if needed.  The glass was really clear and quality was spot on for a $500 scope, but I hated the reticle.
15.     Home camo...I like it.  We should pitch the idea to TAB gear.
16. I'm just celebrating my latest stamp arrivals. I finally completed the lower right AR with SBR stamp and specwar 5.56. I thought I would share a pic (should have chosen a lighter background.) I'm no photographer but I'll get some better pics later on.
17. I may be interested if the price is reasonable.  I'm in the market for NV right now.
18. I've got a suppressed SBR as well and it is one of the most fun guns in my small collection.  I used a cmmg dedicated lower with metalform mags and it is flawless.  I've wanted to try the c-products as the price is attractive.  Here's a quick breakdown of cost from memory (so don't quote me on it.)   cmmg lower - 200 any upper - 100 9mm bolt - 225 adco barrel - 200 MOE lower build kit - 120 spikes st-t2 buffer - 30 samson rail - 175 aimpoint pro - 400 magpul rsa - 30 magpul sling - 60 magpul asap - 30 metalform mag - 35ea AAC tirant - 850 2x tax stamps - 400
19.   Interesting.  Filed my eform 1 on Feb 19 with still no word....maybe soon.
20.   Excellent.  I decided on the AAC 300-TM but was considering the 30p-1 as well.  When did you send those apps?  I've got a Form1 I efiled in Feb.
21. So, what are they?  We need specs man!   Did you efile?
22. I'd rather shoot xtreme plated for less $

Hog Gun

In stock too.  I've got a box already, but I may have to pick up another one since they are finally in stock again.  I've been playing with the Hornady 325 FTX for "plinking" loads.

Hog Gun

458 socom is a hammer for sure.  I just got a Wilson Combat upper not too long ago and have started playing around with reloads for it.  I'll be deer hunting with it this season and can't wait to stop a deer in it's tracks with it....the thing is a beast.
25. Form 1 SBR individual   Pending: 10/2 Approved: 5/17
