Take a look at the SWR spectre II.  That will be my next 22lr can.

  Submitted mine 2/6 and still no word.  Surely I'll get it any day now.

  I use the same method, only with the winch cable on my ATV.

    I have a Rainier 8.5" traditional rifling and have been very pleased with it.  It seems to be a quality barrel at a decent price.  I can't comment on the polygonal model, but I'm satisfied with my purchase.  It's a 1:8 and stabilizes my 225gr reloads just fine.

I picked up a PRO several months ago and have been satisfied with the factory mount.  Very solid and more than adequate IMO.

I'm curious to hear others responses as well.  I held a Pulsar this weekend and I agree that thing is gigantic. 

I'm waiting on (4) Form 4s and (2) Form 1s......lame.  Come to think of it, I was about a week from approval on one of the 4s.  Such is life I suppose.

In my experience, they have always cashed my check within a week.  That remained true even on recent purchases with the spike in NFA interest.  I'm guessing you didn't send the paperwork with delivery confirmation?  I always send the forms in via USPS priority with delivery confirmation so I at least know they received the forms.

  I'm giving the Fury some serious thought.  Does it have a twist tailcap or the clicky type though?  I know this can be switched later on regardless.

  I'm in Arkansas now.  All we need is a depredation permit from the AGFC and night hunting nuisance animals is allowed.     I would love to get into NV but my wallet wants me to steer clear.  I don't know much about anything NV but the PVS-14 seems to be the most highly regarded for best value.  What is your setup?

  Looks good.  I wonder how it would perform mounted to an AR?  Although it will be on a 9mm with not a great deal of recoil.  At that price point, even if it didn't work out on the AR it would come in handy around camp regardless.

Can anyone school me on weaponlights?  I'm looking to put one on my 9mm AR and it's primary use will be late night varmint extermination.  It will not be used as a home defense gun.  I just put a Streamlight TLR-1 HL on my Glock and was thinking about buying another for the AR as you can put a pressure switch on this model.  I've also seen the Surefire Fury EAG? that can be used as a weaponlight now.  Anything else I should look at?  Range will be within 100 yards, but I prefer as bright as possible.  I'm looking to spend a couple hundred if need be, but don't want to spend $400 as seen on several surefire models.

Just to follow up:  I ended up buying a Ruger GP100 with 4" barrel in 357 magnum.  I built a 10mm 1911 to use as my hunting rig so I decided to go with 357.  I've only shot it once but I'm very happy with my decision.  I had no idea wheelguns could be this much fun!

CMMG makes a 16" with pistol gas if you don't want to have one built from a blank.

+1 to what Dolomite said.   Check out the SWR specwar.  It is the hottest thing going right now for 7.62...magnum rated.

I've decided to look for a used Super redhawk.  I've been keepin an eye on gunbroker for a good deal.

I'm a big fan of the 22/45 series.  Mine has been a definite workhorse with no problems.

Kimber custom II stainless for me.  I still have it and always will.  I've killed a few deer with it and am quite fond of it.
