  1. Okay, here's my deal.  I'm currently a Sirius satellite subscriber and I'm thinking of giving it up for a paid subscription to a music streaming service.  I currently have Spotify Free and I like it.  I understand that with the paid service I can play my playlist off line.  The object is to be able to get in the truck or on the bike and listen to my music without using my data on my phone.  I'd save $5 a month with Spotify instead of Sirius plus I like the format better, in addition I can put a playlist on and let it roll without having to worry about messing with it which I really don't like doing, especially on the bike.  I know there are a variety of services available and Spotify is the only one that I have experience with.  Is there any reason not to go with Spotify?  Are there better options out there?  The versatility of the equipment is another plus, I always have my phone with me but I swap p bikes often, I have he Sirius installed on my touring bike and I put it in the truck too, but I could listen to the Spotify on my phone on my other bikes that aren't set up with satellite antennas and power sources.
  2. You forgot about being able to say or do whatever you want, whenever you want.
  3. There is no excuse for forgetting where your gun is.  That said I bet that every single case involved a legal gun owner that meant no harm to anyone and forgot that it was there.  I doubt that anyone would purposely try to get a gun onto a plane illegally.
  4. Something doesn't add up.  I understand why the scrap yard may not be able to give you the thief's information but it seems like law enforcement should be obligated to follow up on this.  It sounds like an open and shut case.
  5. This thread is going to be awesome! There are truly some special people selling guns on Facebook, I can't wait to see more.
  6. If I lived down the road from this tool bag and had a legitimate range this guy would get throttled. This kind of behavior only hurts responsible gun owners.
  7. I don't ever recall being excited, or even caring about the premier of a TV show.  Excited about this one though!
  8. Great news!  Been awaiting a post from you!
  9. That was it, I had forgotten the context when I posted that, I assure you I am not going to rape anyone.   If I wind up doing this it will be in a secured location (on a farm with locked gates.)  I won't be keeping anything of great value in the camper.  I would have access to a locked shop adjacent to the camper which is where I would put my safe and keep other valuables.
  10. That area is beautiful, it would be my ideal place to live if it were not for the other people that live there (No offense Runco,) Monroe County is certainly a front runner for Ignorant Redneck Capitol of Tennessee.
  11. I grew up in Mt. Juliet.  There isn't enough money on the face of this earth to get me to move back here, way too much growth.  This sure isn't the nice small town that I grew up in.
  12. I already lived out there once.  I'd rather live in a camper on the West side than in a Mansion on the East side.   Ironically I'm gypsing up Mt. Juliet this weekend.  Lock ya doors, hide yo wife, hide yo kids!
  13. Do to recent life changes I'm looking for a new place to live.  I'm thinking that for the time being I may be best off to purchase a camper.  I have a possible site on the west side of Knoxville where I may be able to plant a camper.  The only problem is what to do with he sewage?  I hate to think about having to move the entire unit to a dumping station every week or two.  Are there services that will come out and pump my tank?  Maybe I can go to a local campground and empty when full?  Obviously it would be easiest to not move the camper.  Just trying to figure out if this is a realistic option for me right now?
  14. I've worked in a lot of different environments.  Currently my employer treats me very well and pays me well.  In return I go out of my way to make him happy.  Never felt the need to do that for crappy pay at a big cooperation that didn't appreciate me.
  15.   I wouldn't worry too much about shooting around animals so long as they are safely out of the way.  Most of the time they will get used to it.  Of course I'd set my range up as far away from the animals as possible.
  16.   $31 a month to be getting better service than Comcast and not giving them my business?  Sign me up.  Besides, the way Comcast is your bill could be $39 this month and $89 next month with no explanation
  17. I'd like to see commentary on any kind of gun legislation either on the local or national level, or really commentary on any gun related news.
  18. Just said a little prayer for you, best of luck!
  19. Rob those pictures are just impressive.  You have inspired me to at the least look into building my own bow, I think that it would be very satisfying to take a deer with something that I made myself.
  20. Another, cruder method that I've used to break beads...   Get a 2x6 that's say 6 feet long or better and a 2x4 that's about 2 feet shorter.  Put them even with each other and put 1 3" nail at the end to kind of loosely hold them together.  Lay your wheel on the 2x6 and rest the 2x4 right on the bead.  get in your car and drive up the "ramp."  It's crude but this was the first method I used to successfully break beads and it worked.     I have also used a dirtbike with a kickstand.  Just put the edge of the kickstand against the bead and pull the bike down on it with as much force as possible.  This will only work well with bikes that have a lot of ground clearance, otherwise the motorcycle will be apt to fall down in the opposite direction.  I've also found that if the bead wont break putting a very small amount of air in the tire and putting the valve stem back in will sometimes do the trick.  That's my experience with tubed tires anyway, don't see that it would help much on a tubeless set up.
  21. I know a guy here in East Tennessee that does custom builds out of old junkers.  It's side work for him.  I'll see if he's interested in taking on another project.  I will vouch that his work is top notch.
  22. I don't always do things that are stupid and illegal but when I do I make sure to film it and hand a copy over to the authorities.
