Hermitage Walmart has plenty as well, some at very good prices.

I always thought that it was overly prudent when people scribble over serial numbers when they post pics. Even though, I make it a practice of not posting serial numbers. What you have presented is a very good reason not to so I for one will certainly not be posting any in the future. Working as a photographer both professionally and as a hobby I generally don't mind sharing my images as long as I get credit for them. Not giving the owner credit is akin to coming over to my house when I'm not there, making yourself a sandwich and leaving me a mess to clean up.

The MJ Ace seems to be one of the better places for customer service as well. I've had good luck in there. Not that the customer service is any better but did you check TSC for the tube? I went in there a few weeks ago planning on buying some Ariat boots, the cashier watched me wandering around the shoe department and never said anything until I left and she cheerfully told me to have a good day. I went home and got then off of Amazon for a really good price. Is it still considered shopping local when the Amazon distribution center is 20 minutes from your house?

That's a cool hunt! I had a lone hen running around the field when I first pulled up, only turkey I saw but it was good to get out. -

I'm headed out for an evening hunt here shortly. -
I'm not saying that it's okay for cops to beat the hell out of people but sometimes I can certainly understand why they want to.

Not what I'd choose as a shooter but I'd throw one in the truck or boat or whatever and be confident that I had a reliable gun if I needed it. If I had $300, no guns, and lived in a crappy neighborhood, I'd have me a Hi Point and $100 worth of ammo. Ain't nothing at all wrong with them, I wouldn't trade one of my Glocks for one but if I had one I wouldn't get rid of it either.

I hate that there is no way to prove my prediction but some lib somewhere in my estimation will cause something to happen during this event such as a negligent discharges because the thought of 70,000 gun nuts gathering without something happening is a thought that they can't stand.

I thought that it may have been Benton's. I failed to see their name on the price tag. I swore never to go there again after I found several bricks of Thunderbolt at $70 a piece this past summer. I had selected a nice (and expensive) leather holster for my wife that I put back before I left after seeing their price on .22.

I'd gladly pay $10 to get to not have to go to Detoliet and drink JD instead in Stroh's. -

Off the top of my head I would suggest the area around exit 268 on I-40 (Hwy 96.) You will be right close to the Caney Fork River and Center Hill lake which well give you good fishing for about any species Tn had to offer. I think about three counties come together there, if you want to deer hunt you want to be in Unit L, I believe one or two of those counties are in L, there are tons of deer in the area. A bear sighting there wouldn't be unheard of but there are no bear hunting opportunities in that part of the state. You will be about an hour and 15 minutes to Nashville and 2 hours or so to Knoxville. Closest Wal-Mart is Carthage I believe which is about ten miles. This area has some of the cheapest land I've seen in the state. Feel free to pm me with specific questions, I've lived, fished, and hunted all over this state.

Please share where that is so I will never go there and give them any money.

Frankly I'm surprised they didn't end the article with a mention of the coming NRA convention.

I knew a guy that feed a large flock of turkeys in his yard. His son also turkey hunted on the same farm. You could walk right up to them in the yard but as soon as they crossed the fence they were wild as could be.

Black powder, swabbing the barrel between shots?
10-Ring replied to 10-Ring's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I will likely get two new black powder guns. I would like a traditional muzzleloader to do some hunting with in a traditional sense and I also want to get a good modern black powder gun to put meat away with. I seem to have better chances of killing a lot of deer during black powder than any other time and want to put yup as much meat then as possible. -
March 2015, I will never forget and never want to repeat.

Black powder, swabbing the barrel between shots?
10-Ring replied to 10-Ring's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
Patch lube? I'm shooting sabots, do I need to do anything? Gun is a junky CVA Apollo, which is possibly one of the crappiest firearms made in recent history, this thing is the Phoenix Arms of black powder. Thanks for bearing with me, I'm trying to learn. I really think I'll be in the market for a quality muzzleloader before black powder season starts. -
Any other Comcast customers get a notice of a $21 price hike due to taxes this month? I doubt it, but if anyone has please post up.

Once while perusing a gun store with my wife there was a really nice Colt Python in their display case. I told my wife I'd she was ever at a loss of what to get me for a gift that that gun would be just fine. She rolled her eyes and made a smart remark when she saw the price tag.

Comcast has a retention department? I cancelled them once before and the response I got when I told them that I wanted to cancel was "Okay we can do that" they didn't care one bit that I was cancelling nor did they try to even mention me not cancelling. Please tell me how you make a quick call with Comcast? Last time I called them I spent 18 minutes on the phone before I could even speak with anyone. What we will probably wind up doing is sucking it up and paying there stupid high bill because we (actually just the wife) and daughter will be there for a few more months. But I promise you all I will never ever hear the words "you had a choice and you choose Comcast."
-
Thanks but the location in question is actually our house in Maryville which is deceptive by my location on my profile, I moved out here for a job and my wife and daughter are still in Maryville until they finish their respective school years, and we find a house here.

I'm not even sure what the are doing is legal but I don't really know how to go about doing anything about it short of spending a bunch of money on a lawyer. Our Comcast bill has jumped from $86 to $107 a month, according to Comcast this is due to "fees and taxes" I believe is what my wife told me. If we had ANY other viable option we would be switching our provider but Comcast is the only broadband provider in our area. We have looked into getting a hotspot from Straight Talk but the data is so limited. My wife needs internet access for classes that she is taking, and seeing as we haven't had cable in about a year (After Comcast decided that they needed an additional $100 a month for that) we really do use a lot of streaming. Unfortunately our house sits in a hole and a TV antenna won't work at all so we really do kind of depend on internet. I'm sure that Comcast is not charging this rate in areas where they have any competition, I really feel like we are being gouged and taken advantage of.

Tannerite Sues NBC News for Libel and Slander
10-Ring replied to Oh Shoot's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I hope they win, I wish they were suing them for a lot more. Remember back when anyone could buy dynamite at the co-op? Man everybody was blowing everything up back then... -
Appliance dolly and pieces of cardboard work wonders. If you have wood floors to cross give them a squirt of Pledge set the safe on the cardboard and they will glide across the floor. I couple of good sized buddies work wonders too.
