You will find out who your friends are really quick when it is time to move a safe!

I just saw a dead armadillo around mile marker 248 on I-40 East. This is the furthest East I have ever seen one.

I have three of those things...

If this behavior keeps up maybe eventually these thugs will stop activity such as fighting with the police, running from the police, pointing real and fake guns at the police, etc. I feel sorry for cops since now days the criminal seems to get the benefit of the doubt.

Everyone thinks moving a safe is a big deal it really isn't. I've moved my 700 pound safe 4 times. An appliance dolly and a friend are all you need. It helps to load it onto a trailer as opposed to putting it in the back of a truck as you don't have to lift it as high. Get a piece of cardboard under it and scoot it across the floor. If you are crossing a wood floor spray some furniture polish along your path and buff it with a rag, the safe will move over the floor effortlessly.

I've been out of bow hunting since 2004 and I want to get back into it this year. I still have my old bow, which is 15+ years old but I see no reason it won't work just fine with a tune up. Mainly I need to restring it. Just moved back to Middle Tennessee recently and my old archery shop is no longer around. I need to take it somewhere and have it gone through. Looking for somewhere around Hermitage or in Wilson County preferably.

The older I've gotten the more I am inclined to let things live than to kill them. Admittedly when I was younger I was quite blood thirsty. As long as they aren't causing a problem I'd let them live and enjoy watching them. A coyote on the other hand is noting but a target in my eyes

I think that we would have come to the aid of our coach, not that he would have needed it. That was one of the toughest and meanest human beings I have ever known and was about the only person I feared in high school. Staying in his program for for years had a lot to do with building the character and work ethic I possess today.

You will generally stand a better chance with bear spray than a gun.

Pretty sure the people that could learn from this are learning impaired.

Just heard on the radio that Tim is in New York City shopping today and will be performing with Kanye West tonight. Sounds about right. Wonder what he bought Kenny?

Sounds like someone didn't practice proper restraint. Wonder of either had a HCP? Not that it really matters.

Not my first choice but we are likely talking about an animal that weighs less than 100 pounds so a .40 should do it. Contrary to popular belief black bears are not some mythically tough creatures that are hard to kill.

Maryville had plenty of everything but 9mm this morning but the prices were not great.

Sounds like you have gotten good advice on the gun, let me share a little bit of advice on the tennis elbow. I suffered from tennis elbow for about 2 years. First in the left elbow and then in the right as well. I toughed it out until it was affecting my quality of life and I finally broke down and went to an orthopedist. To show how bad it was I refuse to go to a doctor for something like that unless I just can't stand it anymore. The orthopedist had suffered from tennis elbow as well, he had gotten into some poison ivy and took a Z-pack which not only cured his poison ivy but his tennis elbow as well, he recommended that I try the Z-pack as the first and easiest and least invasive form of treatment. I could tell a huge difference within 2 days and was 90% better within 5 days. I have not been bothered with tennis elbow for about a year now. Really wish I had gone to the doctor sooner.

I don't always open carry but when I do I always use my Uncle Mike's nylon tactical holster and a clip my "concealed carry permit holder" badge to my belt. Most people just assume I'm a cop.

Just lawyer banter. Of course they are going to exaggerate and embellish everything they can to make their point. Doesn't mean that it holds any water. Really though the fact that he carried a gun over there in the first place would be enough evidence of probable cause for a prosecutor to argue that he was going to shoot someone. Which brings up an interesting (to me) point... When does one become a bad guy? A gang banger who has been involved in numerous shootings is obviously a bad guy. But I personally know (I said know, not that they are my friends) people with HCPs that do drugs with their kids in the car while driving down the road and have been known to brandish their guns at people in traffic. HCP holders they may be but model citizens they are not. I'm sure there are felons out there that have straightened up and would be responsible enough to carry a gun, while I'm also sure that there are numerous people out there with HCPs that only have them because they haven't been caught and convicted of anything yet. A lot of uncertainty there, which is all the more reason to carry.

When I'm on the road everyone going slower than me is a freaking moron and everyone going faster than me is a damned idiot. But everyone knows that here in Tennessee if you are planning on making a left hand turn then you should stay in the far right lane until the very last minute and then just shoot across how ever man lanes necessary to get to where you are going and visa versa.

Welcome back! TGO is the only real source of online interaction that I participate in. I gave up Facebook about 4 months ago with no plans of going back. Nothing against Facebook I just wasted too much time there.

I'd say Jerry Miculek but I don't think that you were looking to get shot 6 times I really don't know if the guy is capable of just pulling the trigger once. -

I didn't think it was that bad once it was over, I'd still rather get tazed than sprayed. -
I think the Judge in this case understands...
