I have a question and may need your services if you are local, but even if you are not I still have a question.

I know a little bit about bows, I'm not an expert by any means.  The main thing that I'd be concerned about buying any used bow is the condition of all of the moving parts, the condition of all of the hardware holding everything together and finally the condition of the string.  From what I understand you do not want your string to break.  It is also not cheap to have a string replaced so you may have to spend a considerable amount of money to get a used bow in usable condition.  But personally I wouldn't shoot a skunk with a bow, you're just asking for trouble.

The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me.  I wouldn't want to be anywhere near either of those animals, especially the bobcat.  Bobcats are about the most ferocious creatures in this part of the country, they are capable of taking down animals up to 8 times their own size.

I've never heard of "zipper merging" before.  That's an interesting concept and I'm sure that it would work well if we could get everyone on board. 

Two different things.  In your example the people staying in the right lane until the last minute are delaying everyone behind them, a motorcycle lane splitting is not holding anyone up.

The comments section hurt my head.  I'm really offended that all these people don't like guns.  It hurts my feelings and makes me want to cry.  Why can't I just have my way?  Can everybody just like guns so that I don't have to go hide in my closet and cry anymore? 

    In my experience, this is not the norm in the industry.  Most manufacturers will warranty their guns against defects in materials and workmanship.  Anyone else have this issue with Walther?  Makes me want to blacklist them.

Talking about bicycles and I'll agree with you, if were talking motorcycles I disagree because the motorcycle is unlikely to be in the cars way again.  I've ridden motorcycles in California and experienced lane splitting first hand.  I really liked the idea of it, especially moving around in urban areas because you can make it from A to B much more quickly.  If done properly there is no downside to lane splitting.  I do like that we can run red lights after stopping here in Tennessee but it sure would be nice to be able to lane split as well.

Anyone try to harvest lead from old batteries? My gut tells me that it's a bad idea for several reasons but there would be a good amount of lead there for cheap.

Two things... 1) figure out how much space you need and double it. 2) I'll second Peej on the sky lights, Windows allow crooks to see what you have and provide a point of entry. I knew a guy whose shed was robbed by the thief coming in through the window and kicking out the door from the inside.

Reminds me of a line I've used a couple of times when someone wanted to make comments while I was riding "You don't know me and I'm wearing a helmet, you want to think about that?"    BTW:  If you are going to talk trash while wearing a motorcycle helmet keep the visor down and your chin tucked so that your chin bar doesn't become a hand hold for your adversary. 

On a pretty much related topic what are the pros and cons for different barrel lengths if you are going for a 9mm AR pistol?
