  1. I may be posting one soon
  2. Yeah, nothing huge, probably a 2 1/2" blade.
  3. Woke up to realize that I did not buy pre sliced hog jowl yesterday. One of GT's fine knives came to the rescue!
  4. Someone trying to get into your car certainly means to do you harm. I think that a reasonable person would call it a good shoot, but my opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it. If nothing else your incident has reminded me that I need to look into overriding the auto unlock feature on my Tundra. I hate that it does that. If I pull over for lunch, or I'm checking my phone before I go into a store, I want my doors locked, especially since my attention is not focused on my surroundings.
  5. I'm getting ready to do one. Not my first, but I'm always looking to improve my skills. What grit are you sending with between coats?
  6. The POI transferred all of his property to another person last month. Draw whatever conclusions you want from that. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/ncquXS9
  7. If they would quit making crappy aftermarket parts for our guns that they hate so much, that would be great.
  8. I grew up on Fords. On my 3rd Toyota, not really interested in owning anything else.
  9. We went last week. Metal detectors at the entrance. They didn't have any issues with my pocket knife.
  10. I play with them, it's something that I enjoy doing. I spend a lot of time doing research and several hours each day watching the market and reading reports. I've had my ups and downs. Up 30% over the past 3 months. Recently made good profits on IDEX, NIO, and JAGX, but lost a chunk of money on GNUS several months ago. I don't play with more than I can afford to loose and treat this more like a poker game than a serious investment. Swing trading penny stocks can be lucrative but nerve wracking. I sold IDEX, NIO, and JAGX close to their peak last week before both plummeted and then put 90% of my money in TSLA, where it just seems to grow substantially without having to watch what it does every minute. I'll probably stay in TSLA until the next hot stock comes around.
  11. Sure, I'll play!
  12. We bought my wife a 2019 CRV last year. It's a great car and has done everything expected. We were initially going to buy used but we we're only going to be able to save two to $3,000 buying slightly used over new. Add to that that Honda has very good financing options if you have good credit, as in under 2%. And it was pretty much a no-brainer to buy new. The CRV and the Camry are kind of two separate animals. It's my opinion that the CRV is much more versatile and I like the fact that ours has all-wheel drive. That said I'm a Toyota guy.
  13. Geneology is a hobby of mine. This is a pretty big deal.
  14. If you have no sentimental ties to them there is a few hundred dollars there between them. I'd put each of them in the $100-200 range depending on condition. Not a ton of value in reproductions, but those look like they are in decent shape and serviceable. Someone else may come along and contradict me, and I wouldn't argue with them.
  15. I was leaving Home Depot in Lebanon yesterday evening and there was a guy in a minivan gathering the gunshow signs in the area. I didn't know if the show had been cancelled, or if he just didn't like the idea of a gun show.
  16. I think that's just 1 head and a guard.
  17. I picked up a Kobalt 80V trimmer a few years ago in hopes that my wife would use it (not even once) but I like it. It tackles everything except overgrown brush well. If it went out today I would replace it with the same. Got the companion 80V blower, it's great too.
  18. Thought this video was relevant to the conversation. I believe my only criticism of that he stopped and by doing so places himself in danger, and then he got out. I don't know the circumstances of him actually hitting the protestors, but if I were in that situation I would proceed away from the crowd and then call 911 if I were so inclined. Don't know if video can be embedded, but here is the link. https://youtu.be/w022eEJdGsA
  19. I don't think that I have much to add that hadn't been said already. My wife and I have discussed this exact scenario. I find it important to give yourself an escape route in traffic and attempt to escape first. If that is not possible I would fear for my life when someone began beating on my windows with an object. DASH CAMS cheap insurance. I run an apeman camera. They can be had on Amazon for $35. I've had mine for a year and it's been great. A friend of mine drives a truck and runs one all of the time. He is involved on 2-3 accidents most years when people cut in front of him and he can't stop. His insurance company has been very thankful for his camera.
  20. There is no law, but The State Attorney General has issued an opinion on this. Basically, a felon can possess a black powder weapon, but it must be an antique. https://www.tn.gov/attorneygeneral/search-results.html?q=Black+powder
  21. I think that you could ask 10 people that question and get 10 different answers. For me, after buying and trying a bunch of different ones, I fell in love with the Kimber Micro 9. It just does it for me.
  22. Homelite became a major name in the chainsaw world in the 1940s, and still produces saws today, though they are not revered as the saws that they once were. I've never run the bowsaw and don't know if I want to, but from what I understand, one of the major advantage is not having to bend over as much while cutting up logs.
  23. I have the same issue. When I put it behind my flatbed I can't even see it. On a serious note, I've done a lot of towing over the years with loads of all different sizes. Learning to back using my mirrors was the single best thing that I ever learned to do to help backing a trailer easier.
  24. Show her the fundamentals, then let her practice on her own at the house. Don't watch. Write off the truck bumper, tail lights, and bed corners before she starts. Whatever you do, don't tell her that she is doing it wrong.
