The V-bob in matte is $1600 so figure around $1400 or so street price...not great, but still a bargain compared to les, and ed for the 1911 layman ;-D I love my Cbob and wouldnt trade it for anything that I planned on carrying/shooting daily.

For the 1911 owner that "has to collect em all".

I have/had a 5.56 ak, I had an AR...sold it, and now im plannin on keeping my MSAR (aug clone) cause for me its the easiest to handle. To me the 5.56 is a lot like a 9mm...plenty effective and controllable with rapid fire, but more picky about using a strong quality projectile...whereas something like a 308 you can use ol crappy ammo and the damn things so big whatever you hit is still gonna die(kinda equivalent to the .45 in a handgun).

I like the fact its 10mm. Im not a good enough shot to appreciate the difference between it and a $1,000 1911 however.

I got a great price from Joe @ Hero Gear on my Storm Case. You might want to check with him first...im sure he will be competitive.....and if he mails it all he has to do is affix postage to the outside ;-D

Yeah for the money I dont think you could do better...and its piston driven. The gun is extremely easy to break down and clean. Buds has the optic model for $1100 which is a pretty damn good deal, but I prefer the rail. Lol my cat does have a natural camo coat...check out the last picture on my 28-2 for sale ad....he blends right in.

Dont know yet, I got the tan because they didnt have the black available with a 20" barrel (and extra barrels are $500!). I havent got to shoot it yet, but its definitely a well built firearm...the barrel is vented/fluted, 4150 chrome lined, and has a 1/8 twist so it should be fairly accurate with good ammo. Surprisingly the trigger isnt too bad. I hope I like it since im selling my AK.

No I got the cheap one...not the limited edition I think microtech knives are nice but I would never spend that much on one.

Pictures of my new MSAR....and an easy to see reason why bullpups have some serious advantages....keep in mind the ak in the picture is a sidefolder with a 16" barrel while the MSAR has a 20" barrel

Another great choice in cases is the Hardigg/Storm Case they are also built like a tank and waterproof/weatherproof/bombproof ;-D . You can get them with perforated foam and then you just pull out the 1in squares to fit whatever your putting in it.

oh my lord this is bad bad bad...one shouldnt dread visiting their nations capital. Im thinkin some Kimber pepper spray since the whole mechanism is plastic....arghh....

I know I cant carry my firearm...so what the hell can I use to defend myself legally without worrying about going to jail if im caught with it? Pepper Spray, Taser?.....any help/info greatly appreciated...hate that our damn capital is so bass-akwards.

I hear good things....I might see if he can make me up a subsonic 9mm load if I ever get off my a$$ and get a suppressor for the M11/9

You might want to cross shop Comp-Tac...I have had both and personally prefer the Mtac to the crossbreed supertuck.
