You FNAR/SX-AR guys....whats the best surplus rounds for these? DAG, South African, British, etc... And best match load?

I think they are good guns...I really like them with the Quick Action or Light Double Action Only triggers. Though I do prefer my M&P

Get a Dan Wesson...they are awesome...reliable, tough, accurate, and not finicky with ammo or limp wrists.

Leave it black because if you decide to sell it later (which happens a lot) it will be really hard to move it with a custom camo job.

Went to Sportsmans Warehouse today(super nice ppl) and they ordered me an SX-AR from another one of their stores. $849.99 + $20 ship :-D Should be picking it up wednesday or so....pretty excited.....then to save up for optics, a bipod, and spotting scope lol.

Almond if you would I would definitely appreciate it, cheapest I have found on gunbroker was $980...which is still cheaper then the closest FNAR at $1250.00 I will make the hour and a half drive to save a couple hundred bucks or waiting for someone to mail me a firearm.

I have shot M1A's im just not enamored with a gun that heavy honestly.

Chicago is a commie kinda place.....but it is a lot of fun I will have to admit...been there more times then I can count...if you go make sure you check out a Giordano's Pizza...absolutely amazing....actually get extra and bring it back....its even great cold on the roadtrip home.

The Brown Bear tends to be slightly better then the wolf in my limited experience the Monarch was really good for the money (back when academy had it on sell for $3.00 per 20) :-D

So im thinking I want something thats reasonably accurate to 500yds or so for punching paper.... Debatin between the $579.00 PSL 54c (ammo is relatively cheap and it comes with a useable scope). or FNAR .308 Heavy Barrel $1350 (match ammo much easier to find and probably more reliable, more accurate, but twice as much money) Thoughts, opinions? Any other semi-auto suggestions appreciated (not really wanting a bolt gun atm) Thanks!

Thanks for the support....that being said...I dont think Jason is a punk hes just trying to watch over the people that might not realize what I said was more "tongue in cheek". I think most people that have $50,000 to blow on MG's wouldnt mention it on an open forum anyways...that being said....im sure the ATF is too busy worrying about real idiots like Cavalry Arms to bother people increasing a legal collection.
