  1. what about the shooters ridge bipods...any good? J.Floyds has em in 6-9 for only $49
  2. If anyone can get close it would be you...when they test fire what kind of rest do they use? Also what ammo...you might have better results if you duplicate the same conditions
  3. JWP isnt just talkin sh*t...if he says something he knows whats hes talking about...someone asked the question and he answered....sometimes you guys are overly critical.
  4. I think you answered your own question...might want to take a look at something more "mainstream" Heres some "reviews" on it http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11220
  5. holy loads of info batman! I have an Eotech and love it...I think its pretty damn cool that the glass can be cracked and yet you still have a useable reticle.
  6. when there is nothing left to bling ;-D not a bad idea though.
  7. thats pretty awesome
  8. ya know Smith I think you need an Acog 3x30 on yours ;-D
  9. Finally picked up my SX-AR yesterday....just as ugly in person as in pictures lol. I do think it actually balances quite well however...Still on the hunt for some optics...still dont have a clue what I want...got a pretty good deal on some Buffalo Bore "Sniper Ammo" at Sportsmans Warehouse $29.00 per 20. Also picked up 500rds of Lake City from mjnsx07 yesterday to go along with the 400rds of British I had squirreled away lol. Thanks for the info "bigshot" im still undecided on swivel/non-swivel
  10. I use the Double Tap standard pressure 185gr rounds in mine...according to DoubleTaps customer service even out of my barrel they should still be going almost 1,000fps at the muzzle.
  11. hahaha yeah I love mine...I have the "snake slayer" version. It shoots great with 45LC but the .410 is painful...remember the trigger hinges...just use the tip of your finger...a lot of people have problems shooting mine because they try to pull straight back....definitely a well built piece of machinery.
  12. holy crap Adam...glad to hear you and your dog are ok...sounds like he was faring alright...what kind of dog is it?

    H&K SL8-1

nice guns....cost a sh*t ton to mod to coolness cause HK hates us civvies.
  14. I have a model 60 with a 3" barrel it will shoot 38's or .357's and is very accurate...pick one up in .357 you wont be disappointed.
  15. im interested but I can only shoot on wednesdays and sundays...if this happens on one of those days I can bring my SMG however.
  16. Smith, What are the factory threads on these?
  17. HCR how do you like the SS 20x42? I was thinking about getting the 10x for my .308...but maybe 20x would be better....
  18. www.classicarms.us has some really good surplus British 308 prices right now...comes down to about $0.42 per shot. Bigshot..did you put a swiveling bipod on yours?...do I need one that swivels? I would like this to also be "SHTF ready" even though I really just plan on punching paper with the big bastard anyways....thoughts, opinions, thanks!
  19. Good to have another Knoxvillian here!
  20. Let me know if you find a "most accurate" grainage for this thing....it did point of aim nicely with 55gr remington hollow points, but I havent got to play with it very much...mine is a tan 20" model.
  21. looks great!
  22. you do very nice work...better then most shops I have seen...you outta think about farming out your services if you have the time.
  23. Verne...you would be better off just getting the mec-tec upper since you would have a stock, longer barrel, but glock reliability still....adding a stock to a regular glock would be kinda pointless imho...if you want a controllable 45carbine go for one of the marlin camp 45's.
  24. Actually PT92's are pretty solid guns, I wouldnt go cutting springs just yet...you might have a weak magazine spring however...try a different mag or get a Wolff Spring for it...should fix your problem.
  25. those are pretty nice....the only reason the MSAR is sporting an ACOG is because thats what I had laying around lol and its magnification isnt quite enough for the kind of precision(hopefully) shooting I will be doing with my SX-AR....it was perfect on my FAL and Saiga when I had them however.
