  1. If your passively investing thats alright but if you look at where the market is as a whole unless they were ultra conservative you have should have seen better. For example those ARK Invest ETF's i've mentioned are up over 30% in 3 months....3 out of 4 are up over 120% on the year. You don't have to do anything but buy the ETF and sit on it. No paying brokers...no paying anything...just watch your money rise. If I was really lazy or just gun shy I would buy ARKK, ARKW, ARKF, ARKG, and ARKQ.....say put 20% into each of whatever amount your investing....set a trailing stop loss of 20% (this is a long term set it and forget it)....and let it ride. A $10,000 investment on Jan 1, 2020 would today be worth approx $23,000...the only work you would have needed to do is reinvest when your stop loss hit in March at the market drop (by the beginning of May you were back to even).
  2. If you want to get better at the market then you need to read, learn, and practice. If you just want a retirement then I'd recommend buy some index funds (zzzzz) and ARKK, ARKW, ARKG, ARKQ ETFS....yes all 4 spread it out however you want...but no one here except TripleGGG is gonna beat Cathie Woods consistently. Follow Mark Minervini, David Ryan, and Dan Fitzpatrick if you would like to actually learn how to properly trade on your own. Also I recommend TDAmeritrade over Robinhood if your not going to be active. Here's one of the best videos I have ever watched that has helped me to gain roughly 30% in the past month (im no longer throwing darts). The audio quality isnt the greatest and its from 2015 but out of the hundreds of hours of videos i've watched and books i've read...this has helped me more than any of them. 3. Stacking it deep while it’s cheap is the name of the game. Amazes me how many Gun owners don’t get that concept still.
  4. A lot of gun owners are so dumb. If you think your planning for the future buying 5.56 at $1.00 or more per round you are terrible with money. BTW Vista Outdoors (a better investment than that 5.56) has a backlog of ammo orders of over $1 Billion.
  5. I can't believe people are willing to pay this much...I remember when I get blasted for listing 1000rds of brass 5.56 for $400 https://atlanticfirearms.com/products/wolf-223-ar15-rifle-ammo-1000-round-case
  6. Best way to counter that front heavy imbalance is to put a forward grip on it...am i right? am i right?
  7. lol sorry didnt mean to offend...anarchy was probably too strong a term...looting should fit though crime stats for Memphis are quite bad and some of the more metro located walmarts are definitely at risk to "bad actors".
  8. Good question it actually fits my hands well but YMMV
  9. I honestly didn’t disagree with Walmart for this. Unlike a normal gun store or sporting goods store there isn’t normally anyone on hand or on guard at the firearms counter 24/7. In places like philly Memphis St. Louis and other anarchy prone cities where the cops just stand down and watch it all burn I honestly think it was a prudent precaution. I think they could have tweaked their message to just say larger metro areas but I don’t consider their actions irrational just not properly conveyed.
  10. While I get what your saying I would equate spending this kind of money for an ultra rare Mosin Nagant (one of the least fun to shoot least ergonomic rifles made) to buying the most rare Ford Fiesta just for the sake of it being rare when there are about a million better cars out there for the same money you’d waste on something for rarities sake. I would easily counter for $1200-$2000 there are plenty of other more limited production, collectible, and still fun to shoot firearms out there.
  11. I have to wonder the same thing.
  12. Reminds me of when Craigslist started charging and everyone was up in arms....but ya know what its still a deal and these companies gotta make a profit...plus maybe with enough funding it will give us a valid alternative to gunbroker. Also i tried free armslist...i'd appreciate an extra layer of security as all I tended to get was the "im gonna send you a check for double the amount and you send me the difference back" scams.
  13. COME QUICK get your Finnish Mosin at Classic starting at only $1100!!! No seriously...I like old stuff too but there are a million better rifles for $1,100 and up. https://www.classicfirearms.com/finnish-m39-mosin-nagant-rifle-762x54r-tikka-mfg/?trk_msg=N55JBI0F63P4VF9OQG83RCDL5S&trk_contact=B25B4LKBGVAHT3AF6U9LUKV2RC&trk_sid=MJV3L08AG1D88JHUMREHUI42HS&utm_source=listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=See+Ad+For+All+Pricing+Options&utm_campaign=20201030FinnishRifles&utm_content=Secondary
  14. Congress control is key. No reason to whip people into a frenzy Obama did nada every election cycle we get the same fears and worries and mostly it’s all over blown this talk is the same reason ammo is being bought at you gotta be stupid to pay that much prices. We are our own worst enemy.
  15. I'm not gonna worry either way...whatever will be will be...good idea to keep current on whatever the mood is though just to keep from getting a nasty surprise you weren't aware of later. Honestly if they did make them all AOW's i'd be fine with paying a $5.00 stamp and being permanently covered unlike that bumpstock nonsense.
  16. The gun show loophole law was simply better enforcement of the existing laws..not a new law. I’m not advocating any new laws here either just pointing out that I had a lot less problems with all their posturing during the Obama years that actually affected us law abiding citizens 0% then the one executive action Trump took
  17. Bahaha seriously. Your right the rapist and child molester spent their time in jail no harm in letting them now own a firearm again. My schizophrenic grandmother I’m sure it would have hastened her death as well shame she couldn’t own one either. Obviously we see the world in very different ways. I wish I saw it so black and white as you do.
  18. I never said I hated Trump...I think he's no role model but what politician is? We need laws keeping people from selling guns to criminals...yes yes we do...sorry if that wasn't blindingly obvious...that's the whole gun show loophole everyone has talked about oh the past 10 years...it wasn't "mr joe legal buying from his buddy". Criminals lost their rights when they committed their crimes. People that have orders of protections against them shouldn't be allowed to purchase til cleared of their accusation...the mentally unstable definitely don't need to own sharp objects that go "pow"....but hey its America we are all free to disagree thank God.
  19. Back in the day there were a lot more "private sellers" that were selling volumes of firearms and not running background checks....im talking about the guys with tables of 50+ guns but "its my private collection"...we all know and have seen them...there's not as many of those roaches these days. I have no use for people that willingly don't pay tax and skirt the law not caring who they sell to.
  20. "Joe Biden also knows how to make progress on reducing gun violence using executive action. After the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012, President Obama tasked Vice President Biden with developing both legislative proposals and executive actions to make our communities safer. As a result of this effort, the Obama-Biden Administration took more than two dozen actions, including narrowing the so-called “gun show loophole,” increasing the number of records in the background check system, and expanding funding for mental health services." Nothing Biden/Obama did during that period was as infringing as what Trump did with one executive action. Honestly the gunshow loophole was something I was definitely for as anyone who has visited gun shows knows how bad they were for that. Trump only cares about Trump (like most politicians) and to think he is going to do anything for us is silly. Hell our Diety Reagan was even worse but no one wants to remember he's the reason we can no longer obtain fully automatic weapons without spending $$$
  21. Pre-Covid I would say the Scorpion at least had a bargain price tag....where you werent paying an exorbitant amount over a new quality full sized pistol.
  22. The same trump that took away bumpstocks and didnt even bother to reimburse us for them...yeah lemme hold my breath on that one...why anyone still thinks hes pro-gun is beyond me.
  23. I can get an inexpensive everyday 17 if I want to get that glock shooting experience...mark my words these will appreciate unshot...that’s all I bought it for
