  1. Knoxx stocks are awesome!...great upgrade.
  2. I have typically had good experiences with Federal ammo...course different guns like different styles too.
  3. alright i'll bite...where do I get one?
  4. As much as I love my LCR I have ZERO desire to shoot one chambered in .357mag the 38+p packs quite a wallop. I have a 3" J-frame that is fun to shoot with the 357...but the Ruger(and my hand) have all they can handle with the lil 38+p.
  5. Overpenetration is such a non-issue....there is much more risk in missing your target altogether. Im not worried about if my bullet might go through the guy shooting me...im more concerned with hitting the target. If your worried about over-penetration maybe you should consider a taser or pepperspray(although you still have a chance of missing and hitting a bystander with those also). There are more injuries of "innocents" due to missing and richocheting then there are from the bad guy getting shot "through and through". Matter of fact we should strive for "over-penetration" as in my mind 2 holes are better then one and while my round might just be lucky enough to penetrate both sides of my assailant if I dont stop him right there you can GUARANTEE he is gonna kill you or the ones you love. My arguement does (maybe wrongly) take into account that we all have enough of a brain to not carry around a .50cal
  6. Love the look of the gun except the grip....something about it throws the look off imho...but its definitely a cool piece...would love to own one someday...congrats!

    The FAL.

buy one from Dsarms....not to sound like a broken record but.... www.aimsurplus.com has them brand new for $1,095 and the fit/finish is excellent...every once in awhile a good deal will come through ($750ish or less) but its rarer and rarer....best thing imho about the FAL over the much cheaper G3 pattern(cheaper parts/accessories) is the fact the FAL doesnt eat brass.
  8. Boring over here..... 2 12ga's and if you count a Bond Arms Derringer a .410 also
  9. www.aimsurplus.com has the Fiocchi .32acp 73gr FMJ ammo (16" of penetration out of a kel tec in ballistic gelatin) for only $10.95 per box plus about $1.00 each shipping.
  10. With some loads it does...the Speer Lawman 158gr+p training ammo is painful, but the 38+p PDX1 is not too bad at all.
  11. If you havent seen it, its pretty awesome....probably gonna Amazon "Prime" it.
  12. haha...sorry that probably came across harshly....comparing anything to something as awful as IDrive is unfair. Im sure it will grow on me....and if it doesnt we all know im still gonna use it ;-D
  13. I have had a few P220's...great guns...the one I have right now I dont ever plan on getting rid of(course I say that a lot)...its a P220 Sport...all Stainless with a 5.5" barrel and factory compensator and trigger job...gun shoots way better then I do. If you buy a P220 you wont be disappointed...excellent guns...I prefer the non-rail versions.
  14. haha good snags both of em. I saw those over there wednesday. I also carry an LCR...great little gun...the P89 is ugly but they are workhorses and should do what your wanting to do with it perfectly. Make sure when your wife takes her CCW class she uses some light 38 non+p she will get a lot more comfortable with the gun and it will make shooting it much easier(course keep the +p for when she actually carries it).
  15. This new layout really hurts my eyes/head for some reason...I hope it changes...maybe its just because i was used to the old setup but this seems overly complicated kind of like BMW's IDrive.....its also....ugly imho.
  16. would be good for stopping a Brinks Truck...or......
  17. nm....$1275...maybe if one could find a good m1a with a crappy stock.
  18. Do not worry! He's from the Internet.
  19. Depends on the pistol...and its use....for a big long barreled hunting revolver I could definitely see its usefullness
  20. +1 I do like the sign though...just a smaller one would be nice to put in a window or such...that and sometimes I get the gun hating libs and a gun that big even on a sticker might scare them
  21. I had looked into them, but I just dont wanna cut any corners when dealing with a cartridge that big.....I think one would be better served saving up $4,000 for a cobb/bushmaster ba50
  22. look up airsoft suppliers and you should be able to find one.
  23. those look awesome....i need to get somethin different on the saiga...but the factory sight is dead on....
  24. I was gonna order a side saddle for the AOW...but I think i will just buy one locally...hate seeing someone going out of business but theres no call to be a d*ck.
  25. I have found that when I say this I end up selling it so I am not contributing to this thread ;-D
