  1. Items not selling? Irritated because no one looks are your stuff? Wondering why someone else can sell the same item for more then you? 1. ALWAYS HAVE PICTURES (can't stress that enough) 2. If its a long gun always take a picture with the mag/clip/etc installed...looks 100% better...most long guns and sub guns just look strange without their magazine in. 3. Be honest about the condition of the gun. 4. Be honest about the round count(I never keep track so I always say I don't know) 5. Make sure there is good lighting in your picture (quit taking grainy cell phone pics) 6. Take a picture of the whole gun...half and half doesn't cut it 7. Starting to understand the importance of pictures? 8. Clean the d*mn grease and your grubby fingerprints off before you take pictures 9. Price the gun properly...check gunbroker(I don't care what anyone says...its pretty accurate...the books don't adjust enough...once a year doesn't cut it). If you paid too much your stupidity isn't the next person's fault. Also google can be your friend. 10. Subscribe to your for sale thread so you can contact people back in a timely manner...if it takes you 3 days to respond to someone they probably either won't get a good vibe or the emotional part of "i gotta have that" will have faded away.
  2. anyone seen the vector magnifiers for red dots...they any good or just on par with the ebay/airsoft stuff?
  3. I didn't even think about that maybe mike will sell it to me for my sx-ar when he gets tired of it ;-)
  4. I tried desert's and that thing has a rediculously concussive blast....its a neat piece...but dont drink the kool-aid too heavily ;-D
  5. Sweet if ya get tired of her pm me ;-)
  6. Ebow....i think we all remember being 23...flying off the handle is part of it...immature on your part but hell we all make mistakes. Learn your lesson and move on. Getting fired from there in the long run will probably be a positive for you...though right now it sucks.
  7. Neat guns, the newer ones are more solid then the first gen.....i had to send my back for a bunch of "repairs/upgrades" however they did give me a brand new barrel shroud (mine didnt have one when i got it), new rear sight(i took it off when I shipped it), a neat ATI hat, and a really sweet gsg keychain. I say buy one!
  8. Side note:...I had a customer about a year ago from Ohio thats been off the power grid since 1979 due to having solar energy. If I lived out in the "sticks" *cough* desertrat *cough* I would probably have some solar power ;-D
  9. There is a major company working on a better storage solution battery wise for people with solar energy...I believe it basically has a cooler around the battery....i will try to see If I can google it...if it becomes mainstream solar will improve greatly....however for the masses atomic energy is the only way to go...course if a plant ever melted down Chernobyl style near our residence I would probably sing a different tune.
  10. Sig p220 if 45 is your flavor otherwise go for a p226. Reliable and ridiculously accurate.
  11. I think he must have lol. When I give someone a cash offer on their car its typically good til the cows come home within reason of course. Everyone does business different though. I can't ever remember trading a gun to a store however.
  12. Cool....anyone want it ;-D
  13. omg...this is rediculous.....yeah a Garand drive by...that'd be the day lol. Gah I wish they would speed this up...I bet it will go through...sell em now while they are high and restock when they are momentarily cheap ;-D
  14. I just traded for a K-frame Snub nosed 38spl that supposedly was a Chattanooga police gun. If anyone can get me a date on it from the serial# please lemme know. It only says "2" where the model typically is. Thanks
  15. if the undead are slow your theories might work....if they are runners.......
  16. Dane and Ohshoot...prepare to lose your brains.....from a distance a 22 is not very likely to penetrate the front part of the skull....now up close mafia style
  17. Thats pretty bad on their part...they should have told you 3 days, but thats really not unreasonable at the same time.
  18. The cw9 is a great gun and gives up no performance to the more expensive p9 now that kahr offers different site options I really don't see why anyone would pay extra for the p9. Accuracy wise the cw is excellent even though it has standard not polygonal rifling though the p9 barrel will fit it if that's your flavor. Recoil is not bad and the trigger is very smooth. I however would only recommend the 9mm I had the 40 and 45 and for me accurate follow up shots were difficult with the larger calibers since the weight was very similar. I got rid of my cw45 and now carry a Sig p245 when I want compact 45 firepower as it is very controllable. 390 is a great price btw

  20. Lol at least he had good tastes in firearms
  21. Vol they are great little guns, if you can get it for $400 or less you outta buy it. A lot of people don't really know much about them...I believe they will become quite collectible down the road....there are smaller guns out there for about the same money, but if your like me I prefer an all metal gun.
  22. Cdnn had them listed not long ago for 350 I believe
  23. Lol Different
  24. pretty dang cheap thats for sure....but alas I have no need for one....
