I dont know I had a 45 casing come out of my sig and land on my neck (i think it bounced off the tent) and it burnt me pretty good...looks like a hickey lol.

Love the Comp-tac's. Hands down my fave outta the Don Hume, Mtac, Crossbreed, k-holster, and such.

im thinking a shoulder carry would be preferable for a cannon like that.

I use a Don Hume IWB with my LCR and its pretty comfy.

I have decided this is going to be my winter carry and want to replace the white dots with some kind of night sights. I have been looking at Big Dots, tfo's, and trijicons...i think the TFO's might be too fragile(im rough on carry guns) though they are the brightest....anyone with a 220 or similar got some recommendations?

Verne, come over anytime and we can go shoot (im off on sundays and wednesdays). I definitely like mine...its a lot of fun...the recon mags are good...big advantage of the sten conversion is the higher capacity mags...with factory your limited to 25rds (which even at 600rpm goes quick). I like mine a lot but could be persuaded to sell ;-D

It doesnt hit the shooter but it does have pretty positive ejection over the right shoulder...now if your a lefty you should probably buy the left hand bolt

I have one of the 226's ordered I wish it was a 220...i dont really plan on shooting it unless the Tea Party goes the way of the Dodo bird in which case it will get shot a lot lol.

If you have an HK91 or cetme www.dansammo.com has the plastic german practice ammo for $189/1000 its accurate and lethal to 300yds and for $289 they have a setup where you get the bolt that cycles the ammo and 500rds. I have used it to sight in my SX-AR it works great (one at a time)...would also be good for a bolt gun.

Hell if your gonna pay that much spend a dollar a round and buy it from www.doubletapammo.com they have standard and +P loadings...the standard pressure 185gr is a sweet shooter out of my bondarms snake slayer.

Being that old its probably got a Corrosive primer so make sure your extra careful if you dont wanna rust out the barrel.
