  1. dou44 how does it shoot....any recommendations on break-in or things to check before the first firing (since its a Century gun)?
  2. I have used the Tromix recommended "Broken Arrow" lubricant and it has worked great on every gun I own for not only cleaning, and lubing, but also rust preventation/removal (from ones I traded for that had freckles). I love synthetic motor oil, but wonder if the open air of being on a gun would affect it since it is in a "contained environment" when running through a car's engine(unless of course you have a rear main pouring...but I digress).
  3. definitely get a tapco g2 trigger...they are awesome for the money...plus that should give you another compliance part....i think.....
  4. Thats pretty dang cool but next time do a before and after photo
  5. P6's do tend to shoot extremely well for the "small-ish" barrel....nice group!
  6. I would never pay that much for a 410...not nearly as much mod support as the 12 if you must don't bother paying a premium for the arsenal version
  7. The gen 2 says it on the backing I believe...also you might want to call them.
  8. I think aimsurplus.com had some under the magazines section
  9. Lol. You might want to try posting a thread saying "I need AK dies" as the subject line.
  10. You might also want to try a different brand of magazine. Typically promag can't make a reliable double stack to save its life.
  11. You would probably get more help without the topless avatar ;-)
  12. Someone had some new VEPR standard AK's for sale recently....i think it was aim or centerfire
  13. I know what I'm ordering next week. I have been using a reinforced Columbia and its already falling apart.
  14. No that's a left hand thread for a standard AK. The right hand thread I need is for vz58 and sks only. Thanks for the tip blue.
  15. Anyone got an aftermarket on theirs they like. I know pickins are slim since its a 14x1 right hand thread. Anyone tried CNC warrior?
  16. I love the all metal sigs, I have no desire to own the plastic ones. I would just buy a kahr cm9 or a lc9 if I wanted a low capacity 9...heck maybe an lcr is a better alternative to either for the current going rate of $380
  17. As cheap as AK's are right now you definitely should only attempt it if thats just something you like to do. I highly doubt you could make a better AK yourself then a converted Saiga....but im no machinist ;-D
  18. I always liked the trigger on the FiveSeven I had...however, I did sell it. I used to have A PS90...i hated it...loved the pistol though. Very accurate, low recoil, easy to put a lot of rounds on target fast. However im just a 45 guy and unlike the secret service I dont foresee me "going up against" anyone with body armor. Another reason the secret service carry it is probably also because the P90 is their SMG of choice and as far as submachine guns go I think it is currently the cat's meow.
  19. Hard to get true expansion out of a 380 better to use solids
  20. Scooter where did you order from?
  21. Hahaha thanks for the laugh
  22. Ign is always a great resource they gave it 70% which is pretty good. However, they did say it was 5 hours of single player but the multiplayer was really good. The writer of red dawn wrote the storyline.
  23. I was gonna say Sigs dont fail....just the operator ;-D Well...at least not the P226, 228, 229, 220, 245...anything thats a classic style lol. Glad you figured out the issue!
  24. For $300 definitely hard to beat. Only other option would be a saiga and convert it but then your at a minimum $450
  25. For all around use (range/carry) and once you factor in how cheap the Ruger SR9c's are going for these days its really the best choice for a 1st carry gun. I like Kahrs but the PM9 is expensive and not much of a range/target weapon. The Kimber solo is too new to trust with your life imho so its out until some feedback comes in.
