  1. I was going to order a $79 spikes from AIM but instead went crazy and bought a Zombie lower from Spikes directly...course now I get to wait 4-6 weeks...lol.
  2. You can get a complete dsa rifle for $700 if you prefer to build your own you can get a spikes complete upper less rear sight for $500 from joebob on here or aim. Get that moe kit linked above for $125 delivered and then you just need a lower which can be had for $100 to $150. If you really wanna build one on the cheap a cmmg m4 upper for $299 from Cdnn, a surplus arms lower for $59 from aim, an m16 bcg for $69 from sarco, then just buy the el cheapo lower kit with buffer and stock from palmetto state armory for $99 and your good to go.
  3. I might get a cm9 I had all of the cw series and the 9 was my favorite of the 3 calibers offered.
  4. When you decide to go 338 pm me the price on this one ;-)
  5. You could probably just wipe it down and it should be good to go. Might wanna give it a break-in cleaning and lube to be safe though. Congratulations on an awesome gun. Let us know how it runs :-)
  6. That is one gorgeous piece of machinery!
  7. I have had a few maadis and the saiga once converted is a much better gun. Not too mention its all Russian. If you do the conversion yourself it adds $100-150. Ymmv
  8. if your wanting an AK either get a WASR, or if your more adventurous buy a Saiga and convert it (the finished product will be better). A whole different route is to buy a Century Made VZ2008 (vz58)...they require a little cleaning and breaking in, but they are lighter and more ergonomic then an AK. (at least to me)
  9. I was going to 2nd what Dolomite said....I don't think there is anything you need that most home "tool boxes" don't already have since im assuming your del-ton upper has the barrel already installed which means its headspace is correct. What part of Knoxville you in? (pm me)
  10. I have thought about getting one for awhile but always resisted the urge. I just really don't need another caliber to buy lol.
  11. That ones a keeper.
  12. It doesn't have to be 5" to be reliable if thats what your meaning...anyone who tells you that needs to get out from under their rock. Glad your ok.
  13. Holy thread resurrect....good looking commie calibered ar
  14. Neat gun 7.62x25?
  15. Thanks Joe just ordered last night the code still works.
  16. I would love to get an AK built by them. The master key wasn't a new idea but making one out of a saiga 12 was. There episode with the toolbox gun was obviously a rip off of magpuls idea, but that was Charlies fault for not knowing better.
  17. Another really good alternative is a shooters ridge...its a very good copy of the Harris. So much so that I have seen some gun shops sell them at almost the same price. I have one on my sxar 308 and its been awesome. I paid $40 from Cdnn
  18. sweet....my birthday was the 29th...I knew there was a reason I like guns lol.
  19. Yeah they look much much better.....i used to have a chrome star 9mm...wish i still did...great little gun....the colt has a lot of personality....i think I would probably have gone for a complete refinish, but its cool in that "used" kinda way...like its "seen some sh*t" :-D
  20. Thank you for your service!
  21. I'm trying to do the same I have had a bunch of different cars but currently my toy is an 04 cobra with a ported heaton and some laughing gas...right now its down for a fuel system overhaul.
  22. Thanks for the advice :-)
  23. hahahaha....touche'
