I did the RTV gas buster mod on my factory spikes one....I did find the black so it blends in...if not still a bit "ghetto"

just as an aside...I did have the Kahr CW45 for about a year and while it concealed and gripped awesome....the 45 in that package for me was just way too much gun....I saw a AMT Backup 45 at a gunshow a month ago and the memories of that Kahr are the only thing that kept me from buying it.

Well....I think I have had my: Sig P220 Sport for about 1 1/2yrs Jim(caveman) Mosin Nagant and matching Nagant revolver almost 2 years My M11/9 SMG almost 3 years My 870 AOW almost 4 years (probably the current winner) I did hold a Limited Edition P229 for almost 5 years (that was probably the winner) LOL..... I had a Cbob and it was fantastic....I have never had anything as fancy as Kano, but I have had a few Kimbers and Springfields....the Dan Wesson was definitely my favorite...right now I have no 1911's and 3 Sig 45's lol.....I think I have gone to the dark side.

It stinks that ORSA won't allow it as they have a really nice 1000yd range.....I decided unless I run across a steal Im not even gonna bother buying one til I have my own land....im not gonna buy a gun that requires me to drive 3-4hours away to shoot.

Try to find a Sig P245.....you won't be disappointed....its what I typically carry...no ammo can make it choke, and its extremely accurate.

Update... Still waiting on the "custom" lower.....so in the meantime i bought a el cheap UTG riser so I can co-witness with my SIG Dot site(yea yea its cheap, but if shtf I have irons). It was just $7 shipped on amazon and at that price the UTG medium riser is a hell of a deal. Aircraft grade aluminum and as far as I can tell it tightens up rock solid....the nut is actually pretty trick and uses a spring tensioner and can be hand tightened without any wobble (i did add some blue loctite on it and the sigs mount though)....will be interesting to see if stays on...if it does wow...I will say the UTG AK sight rails I have used have been rock solid. Will post some pics of it all together when the lower gets here....should be interesting.

bummer....i guess its not a complete necessity....just carry a roll of electrical tape for when your not gonna shoot it How did the rest of the rifle look and handle?

on 2nd look...it appears that the going online rate is $570ish so no crazy steal there...but good for a box store. 1in8 twist 5R rifling with melonite instead of chrome, no forward assist, no dust cover...if the dust cover could be added back it would be great for a lightweight build (which is what im doing with my spikes setup).....might still be a buy.

Sounds like a good round I might have to try em out.
