We are talking about intricate firearms....not hulking pieces of metal ;-D I always laugh to myself when someone on my car lot says they are gonna "buy American cause I want to support Americans" and dont realize a lot of fords are built in canada and mexico while most Nissans are built in Tennessee and Mississippi.

I can't outshoot the gun as it comes from the factory so the hogue is staying on mine. Most reviews say its .40 @100yds with the hogue.....I can't do that.

Looks nice but the bushnell ones are supposedly made in Mexico unlike the usa made millet....how good are Mexican built scopes?

so do you think a 1 pc on a remington 700 with hogue stock(tactical) would be a better choice?

I was wondering the same thing....I will probably just get leupold prw rings and bases for the remmy 700...I don't see much need for quick release on a gun with no back up sites....unless someone can't point out a flaw in my thinking.

Will a gemtech sandstorm quick disconnect for a 7.62 vortex also work on a 5.56 vortex. I'm wanting to get one really good suppressor to use on 3 rifles in 2 different calibers. Thanks

I did have a century golani/galil and it seemed to actually be very well built, I would still choose an m4/ar over it....if your spending anywhere near $1000 I prefer the msar 556 over either of your choices...just make sure to spend the extra $25 for a neu-trigger.

If your 5 mins from there you will save almost 2 gallons of gas not driving to alcoa and back lol. My time is worth the extra $10 without the gas savings.

The Centurys are actually pretty good rifles. Just make sure you fully understand the different gas setting and you should be good to go. I have had a few FAL's and they are a very robust weapon.

I will save at least $5 in gas so that's still a fair price.
