  1. Junki...i been on here way longer than you..... we can disagree it doesn't make us antigun and I would think we could keep it mostly civil ...if your going to insult someone with short bus at least spell bus correctly
  2. Drinking is a right, show me where cannon and rockets aren't included in the 2nd...so thats a right, driving is a right, using a phone is a right.....please educate me on privilege
  3. Hey it worked in the classic "in the line of fire" with Clint Eastwood...where there's a will.....
  4. 80% firearms aren't something that have been popular until Polymer 80 came along with their "ingenious" way of skirting serialization and background checks on guns.
  5. Well if your applying that spin on my argument lets all rail against the following: drinking and driving, texting and driving, most currently "illegal drugs", machine guns, rocket launchers, well the list goes on of all the things the majority could do/enjoy without harming others yet those pesky laws seek to keep us from because of a few bad apples that just can't handle the "freedom"
  6. Well it only took 1 shooting to eliminate bumpstocks...compared to the amount that were out in the world I would say that ratio was pretty skewed. I don't have any hard numbers on Polymer 80 guns but I know of plenty people here and on the interwebs that complete them and don't put a serial number on them so??? Oh wow pulling out all the snark. Your an intelligent man please do tell who guns that are easily finished by anyone with basic tools and consisting of no serial number yet cost the same as a firearm with a serial number are marketed for?
  7. Good point let’s make it even easier for them and all the stalkers and domestic abusers
  8. I honestly have no problem with this. When they find out how many convicted felons and gangbangers bought these hopefully this will be the final nail in this charade.
  9. Speaking of markets yesterday was quite the "distribution day" (down day)....I didn't do a thing (buy or sell....in hindsight should have bought lol) Yesterday I was down almost 7% today I was up almost 6% so a whole lot of nothing happened...a good lesson in why you shouldnt freak out and hit the sell button....by the way anyone get in on that AirBNB action....shes gonna be a winner (but after popping 115% at the open it might be awhile).
  10. A fan of Mr Robot I see
  11. And if I would have parked it in ARK I’d be at 160%
  12. Erik88 18% is great nothing wrong with it but if your an active investor this year especially you can do much better elsewhere. Now granted I’ve been at this for more than 10 years but I honestly haven’t actually got what I would consider good at it til last year. I’m at 44% gains in 4 months in a new account and my larger old account I’m at 82% returns since Jan 1, 2020
  13. Depending on your age I think you should definitely take on some more "risk". If you were to buy an Index fund (yawn) I would just do the S&P. If Fidelity offers any tech or emerging technologies you definitely should go in that direction. People that have only stuck with the index have really missed a lot of gains the past couple years....now I don't know your age...if your near retirement I would keep it simple and the risk low.
  14. That’s one of the best performing vanguard funds...I was trying to be as fair as possible their other selections that I pulled up fared far worse.
  15. If Resolute does take over I'll just follow Cathie and Crew to the next ETF...shes got the clout now where she will be showered with money. Resolute are fools if they think investors won't hit the doors if she loses control. So all that being said...for now stick with ARK and if Cathie is shown the door just pull your money and wait til she opens up her own shop. Here's a writer's opinon: ARKK: Don't Sweat The ARK Invest Battle With Resolute Investment Managers (NYSEARCA:ARKK) | Seeking Alpha
  16. Btq96r they look at all investments and targets with a 5yr timeline but they will cut and run when something doesn’t work. Daily they post everything they buy and sell. A good example is their heavy conviction and position in Illuminae a large chunk in the arkg etf...when they took it to task and it wasn’t found to any longer be the disrupter and peer leader they liquidated that holding very quickly. While it hurt the arkg fund some that fund quickly recovered and is setting another 52wk high this week.
  17. Unlike the old suits from Vanguard and others Cathie Wood and her team are constantly looking for the next area of disruption and the next innovation. Also everyday they print what they are buying and their research. They are miles ahead of their peers. Tesla is only 10% of the portfolio's its in and they are constantly reducing exposure or increasing to keep it at that number....a good example of huge gains for them is having the foresight to take a large position in Crisper (CRSP) for the ARKG fund (NO TESLA EXPOSURE). Today alone that ETF is up 5%....5% in an ETF in one day!!! for the year? 170%....Since its inception in 2016...how about 378% Now look at Vanguard S&P 500 ETF....1yr-17% 5yr 76% (not bad but...) and tell me how many decades it will take to match that performance. Its your money but I know what i'm doing with mine. For the guy in the back asking about ARK....go Youtube any Cathie Wood interview...she does plenty and explains their rational so that simpletons like me can understand.
  18. You can open up a TDAmeritrade or Robinhood account with as little as $500....buy the ARK ETF's I mentioned for zero commission and run circles around Vanguard and almost all other ETF's. ARK has the brightest minds, quickest adjusting, and most reliable large gains. Also there "fees" are insignificant compared to some other ETF's and they do enough volume that you can drop them with one quick click. (Some ETF's have such low volume that getting out of them can take a lot more time then you would expect)
  19. For you Cannabis fans one company you should take a hard look at is Planet13 PLNHF on the OTC market. I’ve made almost 60% on it since March. If your ever in Vegas you owe yourself the time to walk in their store it’s indescribable even if your a non smoker like me it will stun you with how cool it is. I can definitely see it being franchised as more states legalize marijuana. For my fellow gun owners it’s also entertaining to check out the varying types of weapons their armed security (numerous) carries. The doorman has an AR15 and a sidearm. Gotta have firepower when the government won’t let you deposit your money in a bank.
  20. Man this sucks Mikey was a great guy first time I met him in person was at Bill's Eastside shop too. I hadn't talked to him in awhile but this made me tear up. He will definitely be missed. This is an awful reminder that people need to take this seriously and do whatever they can to prevent spreading it. Its not fair that he is gone way too soon.
  21. If your passively investing thats alright but if you look at where the market is as a whole unless they were ultra conservative you have should have seen better. For example those ARK Invest ETF's i've mentioned are up over 30% in 3 months....3 out of 4 are up over 120% on the year. You don't have to do anything but buy the ETF and sit on it. No paying brokers...no paying anything...just watch your money rise. If I was really lazy or just gun shy I would buy ARKK, ARKW, ARKF, ARKG, and ARKQ.....say put 20% into each of whatever amount your investing....set a trailing stop loss of 20% (this is a long term set it and forget it)....and let it ride. A $10,000 investment on Jan 1, 2020 would today be worth approx $23,000...the only work you would have needed to do is reinvest when your stop loss hit in March at the market drop (by the beginning of May you were back to even).
  22. If you want to get better at the market then you need to read, learn, and practice. If you just want a retirement then I'd recommend buy some index funds (zzzzz) and ARKK, ARKW, ARKG, ARKQ ETFS....yes all 4 spread it out however you want...but no one here except TripleGGG is gonna beat Cathie Woods consistently. Follow Mark Minervini, David Ryan, and Dan Fitzpatrick if you would like to actually learn how to properly trade on your own. Also I recommend TDAmeritrade over Robinhood if your not going to be active. Here's one of the best videos I have ever watched that has helped me to gain roughly 30% in the past month (im no longer throwing darts). The audio quality isnt the greatest and its from 2015 but out of the hundreds of hours of videos i've watched and books i've read...this has helped me more than any of them. 23. Stacking it deep while it’s cheap is the name of the game. Amazes me how many Gun owners don’t get that concept still.
  24. A lot of gun owners are so dumb. If you think your planning for the future buying 5.56 at $1.00 or more per round you are terrible with money. BTW Vista Outdoors (a better investment than that 5.56) has a backlog of ammo orders of over $1 Billion.
  25. I can't believe people are willing to pay this much...I remember when I get blasted for listing 1000rds of brass 5.56 for $400 https://atlanticfirearms.com/products/wolf-223-ar15-rifle-ammo-1000-round-case
