  1. Don't worry...Hornady is a smart company...they will sell this stateside too. Yours truly will definitely be buying some now that my Zombie themed AR is 99% complete.
  2. I work at a car dealership...so OC is not an option. My Dad and I own the place but I don't wanna scare off customers that arent gun friendly "buy the car or I will shoot". I do always carry though...and I have quite a few customers open carry on the lot. Normally the ones that do are extremely small guys or "cowboys" so to me its an intimidation mindset...im not saying all people that Open Carry feel a need to project power, but the one's I run across typically fit that description. I do think however you did prevent a crime without bloodshed which it probably would have came too had you not been spotted carrying so kudo's to you. I will relate a quick story...one time I was at my local credit union on 17th at 9pm depositing my check and i just happened to turn around to find a young punk two handing a skateboard not 15 feet from me who immediately stopped in his tracks when I wheeled around placed my hand on my 1911 (at the time a Dan Wesson Cbob) that was concealed to him until that moment....needless to say he backpedal'd and took off....would he still have approached had he seen that shiny man-killer first (ala open carry)...I don't know...but im glad I was packing either way.
  3. I remember not more then a year and a half ago 1,080 rounds was $89 in a sealed tin...oh well....
  4. If you have a carry permit I know they passed that law here in TN where you can have a rifle or shotgun in your trunk as long as there isnt one in the chamber...im not sure this is a whole lot different....PM fallguy hes the resident rules/regs guru or "Subject Matter Expert" ;-D
  5. If you like that pattern...try the Centurion ball and buck...its a 65cal ball followed by 6 rounds of #1 buck....it within a small paper plate at 25yds 2 3/4....nasty stuff...great for SD
  6. Oil is like the oil in your car...same type of flow/viscosity Grease is more like vaseline whether you use oil or grease is really a personal preference though some guns and or components seem to favor one over the other. Most people would not grease the bolt carrier group of their AR15 because its too thick so you would want something thinner...such as....OIL! Most Sig Sauer fanatics recommend using grease on the slides because it stays in place better and gives more of a cushion especially in the all stainless guns whereas an oil is not gonna give enough "cushion" for the metal to metal contact (least thats how I understand/use the two)
  7. I have some KNS gen 2 anti-rotation pins, but they are not installed yet....still debating on how necessary they really are...
  8. sorry for the crappy 70's style photos...dang cameraphone...really need to find my sony's camera cord...argh... 9. Well in a $400 gun I don't blame ya
  10. BCM=Bravo Company Manufacturing One of the top AR vendor/builders for the "common man"
  11. Slip 2000 EWL and Slip 2000 EWG(grease) are excellent and recommended by BCM I have had great success with them so far.
  12. how much do you wanna spend.... Primary Weapon Systems 7.62x39 AK Recoil Compensator
  13. Unfortunately no, but the first 2 were auctioned for charity. I got mine from summitgunbroker.com mark is the man...price was $950 but Sig just just raised the dealer price. Projected msrp was supposed to be $1450 which considering the case knife and engraving And 500 set limit was reasonable....supposedly the dealer price was wrong on the first released and Sig is asking dealers to pay over $1000 now.
  14. I had one...super neat....just watch your thumb lol
  15. Palmetto State Armory has the Surefire CR123's for $19.99 per 12 pack
  16. Supposedly they are only making 500 of these sets. Just picked mine up from Coal Creek today. It includes: Pelican Hardigg Case(the only decent case Sig has used in a long time) KABAR Fighting Knife with the POW/MIA "Never Forget" Logo and Sheath Sig Stainless 1911 with custom POW/MIA Hogue Aluminum Grips, barbed wire runs along the slide, signifying the prisoner status of the POW. The American Flag graces the slide, symbolizing that “these colors don’t run.” Topping it all off: a pair of polished dog tags drapes the front sight, one reciting the Soldier’s Oath, the other “Not Forgotten." (source: Sig Sauer) Sorry for the pics...had to use the camera phone...but you get the idea...and yes im going to shoot this gun...probably not carry it though. (build date of 9/9/11)
  17. you guys and your fancy lights....im still rockin the D cell maglight....sure it might only put out 1/4 of the lumens and weigh a ton, but when push comes to shove it will still crush a skull without breaking ;-D
  18. lol their products will make you end up doubling your investment in the gun ;-D
  19. you better check with TGO David the site owner if you havent already to make sure advertising this is "kosher"
  20. down side to that gun is no mag indentations...which leads me to believe its a WASR with a better barrel. A better option is the Bulgarian for $399 that has the ATI skeleton stock and the IOinc foreend....my friend bought one and its the t*ts.
  21. if you realize something is a "deal" odds are someone else will too...as they say "he who hesitates, loses"
  22. Wow this story just gets worse
  23. Oh yeah its an embarassingly blatant design copy of the Acog....first time I saw one I thought it was some china knockoff junk lol. But it is A. A whole lot less expensive B. Different optical features...they way it functions...what not So while the exterior is similar its not an Acog...but for the money...I wouldn't knock anyone for using it.
  24. the saiga's are pretty decent once converted....I don't know what the going rate is know but at one time Sportsman's Warehouse had the SX-AR (camo-d FNAR) for $850...I still got mine....its rediculously accurate.
