1. +1 I have a Mega Billet upper/lower 308 and its pretty awesome....if you can find one of their sets and build your own, you won't be disappointed.
2. Thank you for posting about the good priced AK mags...however as TMF said F*** Em in the Earhole.
3.   Im sure you have never refered to your customers as idiots?  I have been in Gander post crazyiness and overhearing the conversations between customers I would be inclined to agree there are a bunch of mental midgets in that store.  Yes to go out of your way to get someone fired (who admittedly didnt help his own case) is yes wrong.  This is a gun forum for public conversation not for being a cry baby because someone did something you didnt like (that wasnt illegal).
4. I have an M11 SMG with a Lage upper...its awesome.  If you find a good one buy it and convert it...definitely a fun toy...i wouldnt bother with semi-auto...i would rather have a quality pistol if thats all im doing.
5. Glenn Beck is another person who likes to scare people...no thanks....that and like most radio personalities he will endorse anyone that pays him...hell he would probably tout Obama for a 3rd term if paid enough lol.
6. that thing is looking good...if the amd brake doesnt work out i can say from experience on a 308 the Spikes dynacomp is awesome...now its definitely loud to the sides of it, but it really does help the recoil.  Keep up the good work...I got a Vepr im debating on building.
7. wow thats gorgeous...spend the time to get more than one appraisal.
8.   guarantee you they hit $4,000 on gunbroker in the current buying panic...wait a year and you will be able to get one at MSRP.  depends on how bad you want the newest shiniest toy.
9. While it was not very smart of Dub to admit what he was doing on a public forum that requires no membership to read....writing that letter and getting him fired was a very sorry thing to do...way more sorry then selling pmags at a profit.  I can't stand all these people whining about high prices and price gouging because of their piss poor preparation.  Even more maddening is we have members on here that knowingly back out of agreements that are on paper or email but then want to take a "moral high ground" when it comes to their gun hobby.  If you think the current prices suck...its real simple...dont buy.  All this sh*t will blow over like the last 2 times everyone panicked and paid too much for ammo and mags.  Unless the government collapses or people really do turn into zombies(which sometimes i don't think would be so bad) having a few less pmags or 1,000rds less ammo really isnt going to hurt you...besides...if you waited til now you were never prepared anyway.
10. Is your quadrail a free float or a nonfree float?  if its non free floating you will most likely need a ring to connect it to at the front of the gun...if it does free float you shouldnt need any kind of ring and will fix to the barrel nut or have an attachment that replaces the barrel nut like the older troy rails did.
11. freaking sweet!
12. Again...so so glad I always bought some here and there when it was on sale...all these ppl waiting til a "crisis" well...sorry but I don't feel bad.
13.
Noooooooooooooooooo!  :panic:
Lol what you got against the rubber wonder wedge ;-)
14. Rationing is the only thing besides time that will bring prices back to normal.
15. You can backorder through brownells and they wont charge til they ship (if they ship)   You guys can all laugh at me when the mag ban goes through if it does but im fine with 3 per rifle at the moment and selling the rest.  The 3 per rifle is really more for convenience than anything else...i mean worst case I have a full auto SMG if Zombies pop up.
16.   oh lord....
17. An excellent gun for the money when you can find them is a used Beretta 1201fp same action and layout as a Benelli Super 90 only without the associated price tag.  Its hands down my favorite home defense gun.
18. I didn't have problem with the kit on my spikes but your not the first person I have heard of having that issue...not all spikes lowers got the same TLC.
19.
I think he was referring to hunting.
Yes you are correct I was locked into my soapbox and the comprehension sufferered for it. Tricky not an idiot but you shoulda moved sooner (jk) But no I'm sorry you chose a crap time to get into AR's but that still is no ones fault but your own ;-)
20. Lol you guys don't realize what they did?   They realized that they had yet another chance to gouge like hell and took the site down so they could adjust all their pricing and stir up more panic.  I hate hate hate cheaper than dirt...not because they try to kill people when sh*t happens (anyone forget their $70box .380 ammo?) because thats just capitalism.  What I hate is that they try to make people panic and be scared...they spread lies and mistruth to drive sales and panic buyers...that to me is whats wrong with their business model and why I will never buy from them again.
21. Guys this is nothing like jacking up prices of necessary items like water and food during a disaster like Sandy or Katrina.  No one on this board needs a mag over 5rds (correct me if im wrong hunters) to fill their meat locker and feed their family for the winter.  So if someone is willing to spend too much so they can "beat the ban" and the believe all this hoopla then as the saying goes "a fool and their money...."   As blasphemous as it is to say this 99% of the members on our board will never/have never needed their firearms to defend themselves or their family and honestly if you waited til now and passed up all the $12 pmags when times were "good" then your kind of a fool and have piss poor planning.  I recently sold some ammo on gunbroker because I have always bought it over the years when their was a "deal" here and there and I have way more then I will probably shoot in 10 years or at least before all these "chiken littles" realize the sky isnt falling and ammo goes back to normal.  The market determines the value of an item and if the market is full of stupid people that actually believe the sh*t "cheaper than dirt" is spewing than so be it.    If one person in here can [EDIT]-prove to me that their life and firearms hobby has been negatively effected by only owning 3 pmags instead of 5 since they can no longer afford the inflated prices please by all means tell me how wrong I am.
22. The rguns bolt carrier groups are good to go as long as you o-ring it and upgrade the spring to a wolff or mil spec
23. keep checking with palmetto they are most likely to get some uppers in over the other companies and I have always had really good luck with their products.
