Back to the OP   You could ghetto body armor a lot of different ways but those floor tiles stacked like that would be way too heavy to be practical for personal use or even vehicular.  Hell AR500 steel isnt all that much in bulk.

Biggest problem you'll run into is that the standard length barrels have been backordered since december...i paid for one 2 weeks ago and still have heard nothing (its for my friends G23).   My personal g23 conversion has been flawless like the others said just buy the 9mm mags.

Well the way I read it they are going to drop the stand your ground and go for self defense only because:   1.  He couldnt get away from Treyvon because he got jumped   2.  If he wins on self defense he has automatic immunity from a civil trial (this being the main reason)

Its pretty trick but is designed only for concealment and storage...it will NOT function with the stock folded.

I have always bought ammo over time instead of waiting til the last minute so I'm sitting pretty hell I have ammo for sh*t I don't even have just yesterday I found some Korean War 30 carbine and some 9x25 dillon lol.

please enlighten me but for $3300 why not just use a beta mag or a surefire 100rd mag?  I mean hell for $3300 you can almost buy a bone stock m11 smg lol.

1. price gouging - pricing above the market price when no alternative retailer is available pricing - the evaluation of something in terms of its price   This really only pertains to situations like Katrina where people were taking advantage of their neighbors for gas and bottled water (necessary supplies that were unobtanium but required to live).   this high priced ammo and guns on TGO and elsewhere isnt gouging...its just people with too much money, too little common sense, a lack of memory in relation to the last election, and zero preparedness(not unlike the people that buy up all the bread and milk anytime it might snow the night of) willing to spend obscene amounts for stuff that they really don't have to have at the moment and if their willing to pay the price why should I or anyone feel bad?

I really don't understand how so many gun hobbyist's didnt have any ammo set back for times like these(hell I thought we had a bunch of preppers on here ;-D )....oh well if your in the group of "i have no ammo" just wait like all previous imagined crises this too will pass and prices might not ever be as low as they were but they will come back down to normal...heck look how much AR15's have come back down...patience is a virtue...and a money saver.

My limited experience is the newer ones are superbly reliable and accurate.  I have one of the POW/MIA editions in stainless and its an absolute tack driver and hasnt hiccuped once.
