  1. I didn't know nagants were getting hard to get?  I hate mine lol, but all the numbers match so in the safe she sits
  2. I agree I think i mistook what you had said and for that please accept my apology.
  3. Carter market = average and last time I checked the average price for an item on gunbroker was based on what people were actually willing to pay. If an item is in high demand and can't readily be found then that's not gouging that's a buyer being impatient and wanting to have the newest toy while willing to pay a premium to do so. No one felt bad for the gun companies when they were having to give away lowers for $59 why should we feel sorry for unprepared people when the reverse happens? Now I know me and you have different opinions but I doubt either one if us is hurting over high prices because we are prepared people. I mean if you really feel bad for someone paying a higher price the you paid 8 months ago by all means sell your excess to those that would otherwise spend too much at a price you feel is fair.
  4. That's a spikes tactical HAVOC 37mm non lethal munitions/flare launcher
  5. NRA in someone like RWFs capable hands it would do fine for 1000 on mine....well no one will accuse me [of] threading a needle
  6. Lol I like to dip my toes in the water first that and the only place I have to shoot even that far right now is ORSA :-)
  7. I could see a million better ways to charitably contribute $50 but ymmv The facts are like caster stated the company was/is hugely successful had continuation strategies in place, and life insurance. I can guarantee even without the $50 pmag donations these kids will enjoy a much better/privileged lifestyle then 90% of the people on this board. That being said, any charity is a good one and if you get a collectible pmag for your altruism so much the better.
  8. I have the weaver 5.5-20 I bought from RWF and was able to make good shots at 600yds with my fnar 308
  9. I have no problem with them fleecing the morons that are willing to pay the price.  My problem is all the fear mongering they push through their emails and on the front of their magazines saying this will be banned, that will be banned, buy now before you can't...end of the world/sky is falling BS.  Fear mongering is a sleazy tactic no matter what your peddling.   edit:  because of that reason I will never buy from them...too many good companies out there like aim, brownells, and midway that don't try to scare the crap out of the consumer with bogus info and still give reasonable prices.
  10. I have a stainless one...so far its been an excellent gun and is extremely accurate for the price.
  11. if your gonna do that you might as well spend some money on a new barrel too so the gun will be accurate...course by the time you do that and the stock....
  12. I really like the newer weaver scopes and have a 1.5-8x on my MEGA 308
  13. Yeah the WMD ones are excellent, glad you got it fixed if it was an rguns I was gonna suggest a new extractor spring there's are notoriously weak
  14. i just browsed the video but i wonder why the barrel would be shot out with one ammo over the other?
  15. I'm still waiting on one I ordered a month ago, but I knew that when I ordered. Their BCG in my experience is gtg except the extractor the spring is too weak and they don't use a Viton oring both are easily replaced so for the money I continue to use them.
  16. TDR, good detour...its sunny and snowing here in Sevierville, down in knoxville it was almost a whiteout, but nothings stickin
  17. Speaking of "breaking the law" you people up on that pedastal...how many times have you voluntarily paid TN sales tax on those guns you bought out of state and shipped to your FFL...or stuff you bought on Amazon for that matter...thats what I thought, shutup ;-D
  18. Yeah, that drilling off serial numbers and selling to a known felon changes the game quite a bit.
  19. I'm just glad I had what I had that other people wanted more when the shtf. :-)
  20. Erik please explain how me putting my ar15 on gunbroker and someone paying me market price created a problem.
  21. Lol doesn't take much to stir the pot...I think some of you guys have held onto your commie guns and ammo so long your turning into socialist. Don't hate on me I'm not a sporting goods store "camper" :-D
  22. No excuses Charles...full review with video!
  23. I sold my stuff early and then stopped...i saw it happening.  not before i managed to get double on two of my AR's though ;-D   You guys can hate on capitalism all ya want but that pendulum swings both ways...timing is key thats for sure.
  24. I used to think a revolver was enough til a couple years ago when the Food City got robbed by a guy with a semi-auto pistol and another fellow with a shotgun.  I thought to myself "you know I probably would have just cowered and not done a thing"...a 5 shot j-frame no longer seemed like enough.  Luckily no one got seriously hurt, but now that Food City always has a cop on duty.
