  1. Great dot for the price...another great dot for super cheap is the Bushnell TRS 25...it floats on amazon for as low as $60 sometimes. I've used the 2 I have on AK47's, AR's, and others....never had any reliability issues.
  2. Powell Auction is having their big guns and gear auction on February 28th at 6pm...usually a good time and youll find some interesting stuff...theres still time if you want to enter your items in the auction too....keep in mind it'll be tax time.
  3. So much this....if you dont get the fun gun you want and tons of ammo now dont you dare come whining when the next panic hits and you cant afford to shoot.
  4. same here handstops ftw on a pistol ...any rifle I go vertical grip...I prefer the stubby ones and the folding ones to the old school Knights' really long style.
  5. Great deal on one in the Classifieds at the moment!
  6. For Single Shot or Bolt...guess how many people are gonna slap those on an AR10/similar and then complain when it has premature failure lol.
  7. Im with you...see earlier post....because fun and much less than an MPX copperhead is my only answer.....would also look cool with my suppressor hanging on it.
  8. I dont think that bump stock ban would actually hold up in court and im sure GOA is itching for a fight but i sure dont want to be the example. Also im shocked...not really maybe...that more people arent up in arms over how they back door banned it...seems like a simple way to re word a ban for AR's etc.... oh but now i have derailed my own thread...... Back to greener pastures and CZ's. Would love to see one out in the wild.
  9. The sensible part of my brain says why not just use any "compact pistol" since the barrel is only 4" the other side says "because cool, duh" CZ and Sig really are making guns for the consumer...however it seems CZ at least likes to make sure they run properly first. Meanwhile my favorite foreign gunmaker, HK, says nah you dont deserve it yet.
  10. https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-scorpion-evo-3-s2-pistol-micro-w-brace/ According to the 2019 SHOT reps...this is finally at the front of the line and will be released first quarter of this year...after an 8 month delay.....was gonna get a scorpion but the money I would spend modifying one to look like this might as well wait for this one.
  11. someone recently posted up a "god awful" put in the scrap pile mosin nagant recently....was that you?
  12. have you tried some surplus 62gr (ala green tip)...its usually not very expensive...might be worth testing before making the switch.
  13. I know this is an old post...but what a careless idiot....anyone stupid enough to take it that far doesn't deserve nice things...hes lucky that damn thing didn't go off in his face.
  14. Ehunt...what groupings are you getting? and at what distance? You might wanna go with a wylde chamber 1 in 8 if your wanting better accuracy with the 55's without losing too much range for the heavy rounds...a short barrel me personally I prefer the 1 in 7 because i'd rather use heavy bullets at closer ranges but that's just me...course I just shoot paper so it don't matter too much either way.
  15. that is too cool! Its funny the older I get the more I like the "classics"...I mean im still Mall Ninja at heart..but definitely getting a soft spot for the old guns.
  16. I hear ya...I got a TiRant45m and its pretty cool but honestly since im not a hunter a 30cal can would probably just collect dust for me too....I wouldn't mind dabbling in hog hunting with my KS47...but that's what ear protection is for, right?
  17. That's a pretty wild build, I dig it.....definitely needs a can to really finish its tacticool-ness but awesome either way!
  18. They do indeed...I got a USP Compact 45 and Tactical 45 both with threaded barrels....16x1 LH...I use a TiRant45m and surprisingly the shorter barreled compact shoots softer...but both perform very well...im thinking about selling the tactical though now that I got a vector with a 5.5" barrel.
  19. So....its been a few months...what did you decide about the 30cal can? I got a KS47 ive been toying with the idea myself.
  20. Bahaha reminds me of the FNAR or my version the SXAR....but hey ya know sometimes these collaborations do actually create a useful gun...my SXAR is lights out up to 600yds
  21. I dunno I think the idea of just swapping slides is pretty cool...gotta be cheaper too right? If they don't have a section removeable for a dot sight they are really missing the boat though.
  22. Welcome Aboard!
  23. honestly if its functioning well I sure wouldn't go any heavier than an H3...if the brass isn't dented I wouldn't be concerned at all.
  24. hey the zip is actually going up in value...check gunbroker...ppl have an affinity for oddness sound or unsound
