  1. Wow...that alone makes me want to buy one...thanks for clearing that up.
  2. Well thanks for the clarification...now it makes sense
  3. Is that book any good...I keep looking at it when I go to Borders
  4. hahaha....I was on FN forums the other day and their is a guy that lives in the burbs and when wifes not home him and the son shoot a .223 silenced bolt action into the woods behind them lol. Probably not a good habit to teach his kid but at least they are bonding.
  5. I had a highpoint 9mm and it was semi-accurate but any kind of rapid fire and that thing jammed up quick. Have they recently improved their QC or was their some magic I didnt figure out? Too bad sawed offs are illegal lol(truck gun).
  6. Where theres patience theres a deal. My problem is usually jumpin the gun too quick cause I "just have to get it now" lol.
  7. I know that was meant to be a joke but it was actually my friend since elementary school, Kris, that was the manager on duty at the time and got shot. Im just glad he didnt get killed. The .40 lodged between his collar bone and shoulder and did make for a nasty scar however. Anyways just thought I would throw that in. Also im new to the site also and a Knoxvillian...anyone shoot at the Norris Range or CCA? -Vincent
  8. haha thats great. What about a PM9 Kahr? Those are quite small but still pack a punch...or the good ol Bersa Thunder Compact if your married to a .380 I hear nothing but good things about them.
  9. A lil off topic but wouldnt it be cheaper just to buy the subsonic ammo(sp?)? I love how a walther .22 shoots (one of my friends has one), but I would rather spend that tax stamp money on a bigger caliber.
  10. There is a Stainless Compact II on Gunbroker for $675 + ship used. Appears to be a very nice gun. I really like the SCII because it has the ultra carry grip but the 4" barrel(correct me if im mistaken) which for me seems to be the best combo. Not too big, but not too small either. My cousin has an Ultra Carry and even with the small barrel its a tack driver. Now I have heard reports though that Kimber customer service is a nightmare (thr.com)
  11. Thank god. Some of these people really do need to move out of the country. I would send all of them along with Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Danny Glover(though I did enjoy lethal weapon), Susan Sarandon, and any other "out of touch with reality" Hollywood type that thinks Chavez is right.
  12. By USG are you refering to the amazing FN FiveSeven USG? I absolutely love mine though the people at AR15 forums are complete 5.7x28mm haters. Go to www.fivesevenforum.com for more info.
  13. Great first gun. My sig 229 was my 2nd gun and I have never regretted it. Definitely a great piece of machinery.
  14. Thanks for the classic arms post...thats the cheapest I have seen a 7.62 saiga....$249.95...WOW!
  15. Omg that freakin awesome. On a Zombie related topic anyone seen the Movie "FIDO"....its Great! (if you like Zombie films)
  16. Dont forget the flechette or "terminator" ammo from www.bigdogammo.com pretty violent stuff.
  17. Coal Creek in knoxville can order you a hi point or kel tec....i like the collapsibility of the kel-tec
  18. And his sidearm is an FN FiveSeven which is still my favorite of all my pistols. 20rds, less than 2lbs, and 2100fps cant be wrong Though I quote James from Coal Creek "You better shoot them in the head or the heart with that unless you want to wait for them to bleed to death" lol.
