  1. Freakin sweet lol...that Bush game is great...I want one of those desks.
  2. HAHAHA
  3. Sweet...let us know how it goes...I have been thinking about getting a plinker due to rising ammo costs.
  4. Thanks for all the great sites! Very informative all of them. I think I will just stick with my FMJ ammo on the CZ52 since I dont plan on carrying it anyways more of a "plinker/SHTF" kinda gun. The ballistic site helps me validate carrying a FiveSeven even if it wouldnt stop a 300lb man on Crack like a .45 (I dont see myself being anywhere near this type of individual). Anyone know of a good holster for a CZ...i hate leather holsters and sure as heck am not going to use the factory one.
  5. Wow your right...thats fugly.
  6. In a 22 I like that Ruger 10/22 "pistol" thats a neat piece of machinery and they are kind of the kings at 22 cal. 550rds at WW for $11.97 is a strong sell with all other ammo going through the roof.
  7. Thanks I believe I have a Saiga bought at the moment for $320 with the "sniper" stock. Eventually I want to get a .308 Saiga with 22" barrel for a poor mans Dragunov (sniper stock, bipod, scope mount, and my ACOG).
  8. Wow...good price on the P89.
  9. Sounds really cool but someone that didnt know the weapon might have issues with the safety switch.
  10. $399.95 from www.centerfiresystems.com 19" with synthetic stock. Extreme backorder probably looking at April they said. But incredibly cheap price.
  11. Well I think the VZ 58 is much cooler looking, but the saiga is almost 1/3 of the price...so thats a huge factor...that and I ordered a Saiga 12 today (back-ordered). Update: Centefire has the VZ 58 for $649.95 with synthetic stock...so its looking better but still $$$
  12. Has anyone tried the Wolf Hollow Points yet? They look pretty interesting.
  13. So as long as im behind a cinder block wall AR15.com forum members cant hurt me?
  14. Oh you know you wont get by that easily....so do tell the story....
  15. Heres the dilemma I want an AK style weapon and was leaning on the saiga as it can be had for dirt ($249.00) and is completely assembled and built in Russia. It also has a chrome lined barrel. Currently there is a CZ group buy on at THR.com and I can get a VZ 58 at cost $775 with tactical stock. I understand the VZ 58 is not actually an AK but is based on the Stg 48(?) German gun. Larger ejection port, more accuate, lighter...but is it bullet proof reliable like an AK and I cannot find any info on if the barrel is chrome lined? Anyone have experience with either please chime in. The CZ group buy ends the 21st so im pressed for time if I want to go that route. Accuracy is nice but im not expecting anything that shoots a 7.62 x 39 to be a sniper rifle. Just really looking for something fun to shoot that wont jam or break easily. Thanks.
  16. hahaha....being a used car dealer I might be able to keep them supplied for awhile.
  17. As Borat would say "very nice". Action shots....hmmm...let me get a hole punch for my target first so as not to embarass myself lol.
  18. Well since mine seems to be in such good shape even though im cheap I couldnt think of putting the surplus corrosive through her. So S & B it is. I bought 500rds on www.bigdogammo.com I ran through 100rds sun and all of it shot nice and clean. I think i might buy rougher one though so I can bang away with some surplus 1200 rds for $150 is a nice idea.
  19. Yes its that awesome it deserves an "OH YEAH". Seriously for what these costs why doesnt everyone have one??? I think I enjoy shooting it almost as much as my FN. Doesnt kick too bad, makes a pretty loud bang, and is surprisingly accurate. Now I did pay a bit more for mine then most since it wasnt a refurb but considering refurbs go for $160's this really is a no brainer. If it wasnt for the terrible European mag release design I would probably carry this lil baby since the 7.62 can go through a car door.
  20. Awesome...so how hard is it to become a member...is it like a country club or as long as your sane and not a felon your in?
  21. I sent ORSA's webmaster an email.
  22. Where is ORSA and do you have contact info? As long as I get to shoot it I dont care who sells it for scrap. Depending on where it is I will pay the tow bill.
  23. I never have luck at those shows. Seems everything is overpriced and too many ppl are selling knives. Not to mention all the shady people.
  24. Im a car dealer and we recently got on trade a sweet 95 Lumina Van thats "knockin like a Jehovah's Witness" I also posted this on THR.com If anyone here or within reasonable towing distance has a tract of land that can be used as a "range" this should be considerably more fun then shooting bottles and paper targets. The van of course will need to be drained of fluids first so as not to upset any EPA regs. Removal of van from property will be responsibility of property owner. If this violates any board policies or laws then just disregard and forgive me for my stupidity. -Vincent PMs and emails welcome.
  25. Sounds tempting...just for the scare factor alone lol.
