  1. far as I can tell a 34 can not be had compensated>?
  2. Sounds cool...I love pretty much anything SIG let us know how it goes!
  3. Click the link and watch the vid http://www.theshootersbox.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1058
  4. Awesome thanks for the input :-D
  5. So I want a 9mm "toy" to play around with at the range. I want something that can be shot extremely fast(reliably) Heres the setup I was looking at and would prefer some advice from people that actually have experience with glocks... Glock 19c with rail Trigger Job (suggestions) 33rd Glock Magazine DPM multi spring magnetic recoil reducer (http://www.gunblast.com/DPM.htm) If this idea will fail miserably or if anyone has better build ideas feel free to throw them in atm its just an idea...
  6. I was looking at wideners(their prices are awesome) but from where I am when you figure in gas or shipping + tn state sales tax i can do better shopping out of state which is a bummer because I would rather support the TN economy.
  7. Good news on THR.com there is still a CZ group buy going on. Contact the guy quick enough and he will give you cost on the pistola.
  8. Awesome man thanks for the great site!
  9. Springfield XD series pistols are great. My friend has had is .40cal for about 3years now with absolutely no problems. More safety features then a Glock too. Edit: should be real close to the price range you were shooting for.
  10. Speaking of the economy. When it gets better and the dollar is worth something again do you foresee ammo prices going back down? Im kinda on the fence about stock-piling now or waiting til later.
  11. Very nice gun. If some girl is unfortunate enough to have my spawn I think that would be a really cool thing to pass down. ;-D Seriously though. I think it is awesome that you have an heirloom like that to pass down to your son that is also something he can take great pleasure from now and pass on to his kids later.
  12. Good to meet you, probably startin in the wrong board though ;-D
  13. Sawed off shotgun anybody? Head, chest, pelvis, arms, legs, pretty much anything in front of the barrel and under 10yds ;-D
  14. Yeah but who the heck has time to aim for the pelvis when facing a loaded gun? I tend to think everyone but the most combat hardened(real world, not paintball, airsoft, or civil war re-enactors) would just point and shoot. The most likely point of aim would be dead center.
  15. Will a dremel do the trick?
  16. Rabbi you gotta think that if someone was daring enough to rob a gun store they would most definitely be wearing a vest. A CZ-52 might not be a bad idea considering how cheap and plentiful they are.
  17. Mine took about 8 weeks, course since im a 1/4 asian that might be way it got slowed up lol. I remember when I got it I was like a kid in a candy store...now its just sittin in my wallet.
  18. So what in the world kind of Rifle does/can a 5yr old shoot that will kill a 400+ pound bear? Im no hunter so forgive my ignorance but that story sounds a little far fetched if Grandpa really didnt help him with the aim and the shot.
  19. Yeah but did you see what the price is they are wanting for a pre-production?!?!?!?!? and that barrel length!
  20. Very nice.
  21. Im sure you could take that $200 and have it fixed ;-D
  22. EDIT: No longer apologizing due to Mars post below ;-D
  23. Maybe im thinking of level III then. If you look at any tests of the 5.7 x 28mm it will defeat bodyarmor with a trauma plate in SS192 and SS195 (only difference is SS195 is lead free). FN of course will not advertise it as such due to the ATF's constant crackdown. That is the ONLY reason they quit importing SS192. you can get more and accurate info from www.fivesevenforum.com The only ammo that sucks is the Hornday SS197 (blue tip) as its only good for plinking and rabbits. Its soft tip wont penetrate much of anything even at 1900fps. Of course it is better for FiveSeven fans that people buy into the AR15 forums slander so that the ATF doesnt crack down on the ammo again. I also own a PS90 which I bought because I thought it was "cool" but I will readily admit that rifle lacking Fully Auto makes it almost worthless compared to an AR15 or AK. For civilian use the FiveSeven pistol is a much more useable/useful platform. Useful link with 5.7 x 28mm projectile info http://fivesevenforum.net/showthread.php?t=7228
  24. If you hit anyone with a slug, body armor or not they are going down and fast. You could use a 12 guage with flechette as they would penetrate most any armor up to dragon skin or you could use those wicked "terminator" rounds that fire 2 3/4 oz slugs at once. When thats not practical though the FN is nice or any large caliber handgun should at least put the BG on his a$$.
