  1. You have good points but still much easier for us normal civvies to get ahold of then a full auto...correct?
  2. I finally got to shoot my Beretta today (and also my Saiga, but thats for another thread) that I purchased used from the Rabbi. Well I can honestly say I didnt get J..... ;-D Absolutely love this gun. It shoots very good and is easily more accurate then me. Surprisingly my 32rd Promag Magazine/Clip fed perfectly with no hiccups and allowed me to keep up with the Glock'ers and their 33rd'ers. Definitely recommend the Beretta 92fs and the Rabbi!
  3. "Range Report" Got my ACOG sighted in today with the help of an extremely patient and nice vietnam vet and some friends at the Norris Range. The Saiga 7.62 is here to stay. If your in the market for an accurate, simple, and reliable rifle look no further (it is an AK after-all). I dont have any real experience with rifles or AK's but it seems to be very rugged yet exceptionally well built. At 100 yds using a bag as a rest we were able to get 2 shots less then an inch apart with Cheapo Golden Tiger Russian Surplus. Wherever the ACOGs Chevron was pointed at thats where it hit. I definitely will be getting a .308 Saiga now with a 22" barrel as I believe it will easily be more accurate then I could hope to be and will keep the 7.62 x 39 as my "plinker". I am very happy I bought the Saiga and saved the difference in it and the VZ to fund other projects! On another note Rabbi is awesome, dont hesistate to buy a gun from him.
  4. You can contact me if you want to drive out to Norris...me and Bullseye are gonna go blast some stuff (try out the AK and the Beretta plus whatever he brings).
  5. Out of all my guns the 229 is the only one I would absolutely under no condition part with....GREAT CHOICE!
  6. You could always go ACOG ;-D
  7. You will absolutely love the FiveSeven I have no other gun that is as fun to shoot and fast (but $$$).
  8. I HATE YOU. Lol...actually im just jealous. I also have a PS90 and while it is fun to shoot I say me getting more "use" out of my FiveSeven. It sounds like you got a great deal. Dont you love how easy it is to break down the gun for cleaning? Definitely a collectors piece if another AWB comes. Before you got SBR check out the velocity difference...im probably gonna keep mine factory just for that reason alone.
  9. great article he is probably one of my favorite media personalities as he actually has common sense and strikes me as more of an "everyday" guy.
  10. http://www.gunblast.com/Ruger-LCP.htm Just put up yesterday....I know there has been a lot of .380 discussion lately and this article is quite informative...enjoy! Edit: Mods please merge with other LCP thread (sorry I overlooked it)
  11. OMG thats the coolest thing ever....well maybe not ever, but it ranks up there pretty high. They would sell a sh*t ton of those things if they made a semi-auto only package. Petition??? ;-D
  12. Thanks for putting that up...one could always use another SIG.
  13. Im actually happy with the stock trigger setup with the Skeletal stock its not bad at all. The Acog on top is extreme overkill but makes the gun look a lot more evil now.
  14. You will love the Eotech...did you get a 553 or which did you go with...dont forget the lithium batteries!
  15. I have a Star (imported by Interarms? Eibar/Spain) 1911 style thats a 9mm and it seems to be a pretty good gun. Pretty inexpensive too if I remember correctly I think paid around $200 for it and its shiny!
  16. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_9mm.html Really good price on some "plinkin" ammo. Actually I cant find a better deal anywhere else. Probably would like to get a 1,000 rds or so at that price.
  17. Shadow thanks for the heads up that is one I had been considering, just didnt know if I would like usings those arbors. nsnate lemme know how the cartridges work out for you I had looked at those but dont like the fact that they are only good for one caliber.
  18. Was leaning heavily on getting one. Probably the SL-100. Need it for my Saiga and PS90 http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=25887&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults thanks!
  19. Nice I love anything FN (well maybe cept the FNP40's cause they break). That shotgun looks oh so sweet.
  20. As Borat would say "Very Nice"
  21. That would be awesome...that 93r is a thing of beauty. Which would you all rather have and why? Glock 18 or Beretta 93r?
  22. Bkelm....trade me his converted one for my non-verted one (saiga 7.62) lol.
  23. I do think that it would be a useful template though on which to full auto a "real" gun or at least pull some good ideas off of.
  24. Lol....somehow I knew that crap would happen. Lets see if they can pull themselves back up.
  25. How bout you just trade me since mine arrived last nite ;-D
