  1. I wasn't late to the party I just had to exercise a mountain of self restraint! You know me im all about snapping up a deal!
  2. Totally looks like a PPSH!!! so ugly and cool at the same time! Palmetto had a killer deal last week I think it was $399 delivered...they sold out super fast...it was a blink and you missed it sale.
  3. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/lead-kills-1st-yellowstone-golden-eagle-fitted-with-tracker/ar-BBVXP1E?ocid=spartanntp
  4. Depends on what your using it for...if its just a range gun I would go with the Sig...if its gonna be used for CC or self defense definitely the tried and true G19...just my .02
  5. Those Colt SP1's bring big money these days...don't Frankenstein them.
  6. Ok that's actually really cool looking...but I do wish it was a 327...then you could also shoot it or 32's...right? I just got to remind myself I don't need another wheelgun...or any gun for that matter until I start shooting more.
  7. There is a Precision gunsmithing shop in Seymour, TN also that is supposed to be pretty good.
  8. Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga is a great place to find some killer instore deals and exclusives...I still my SXAR (heavy barrel camo'd FNAR with Winchester badging) I got for like $800 almost a decade ago and im also starting to like Rural King for similar reasons (and the free coffee and popcorn)...Dicks has some good deals on shoes but otherwise I prefer academy as they don't hate guns.
  9. No water heaters above the first floor and no washers and dryers above the first floor either if at all possible...I have had other family members with similar experiences....water ain't no joke!
  10. I'll gladly give ya $475 for it! ;-D
  11. i'd go with the Mossberg if I were you...my experience with Stoeger is they are good guns but they are impossible to get rid of later if you find you want to sell them and they have a bad habit of constantly discontinuing models so parts support later sucks.
  12. yeah you really shouldn't...they aren't the cheap dime a dozen revolvers they used to be....I have a beautiful 1935 and can't find another anywhere to get threaded for my suppressor....find a different gun to experiment with...or better yet...buy a blackpowder gun lol.
  13. It was really good and it was nice to finally see a movie that didn't glamorize those two murderers.
  14. did he actually go to prison...and also what ever happened to his friend they found dead?
  15. I love the TSA...nothing like a free reach around....errr pat down to calm the nerves before a flight.... "sir would you like to do this here or in private"...always go with the "in private"...much more "thorough!"
  16. nice way for them to take care of their customers without opening themselves up to admitting faulty slides...I don't blame them and $170 is a very fair deal for a gun that old.
  17. My limited experience with gunsmiths is that they typically aren't all that reliable or charge as much or more for less work. I would just send it to Kimber...maybe if you gripe a bit more you can at least get them to get you the UPS or Fedex label included to ship it to them or at the very very least at their cost which should be half of what your paying to ship.
  18. meanwhile binary triggers be like "nothing to see here folks"
  19. Im in agreement with the comment above..hes probably figured with a remodel he can really jack up the rent but doesn't have the heart to tell you that's the plan so out you go. Hard to get rid of a steady check for 19 years but with the way Nashville area rents are going way up im sure that's what his plan is....or maybe remodel all the cottages and then sell it and retire.
  20. They waste a ton of money on that crap and the fear mongering they do is the worst...its like how stupid do you think I really am...and the amount some of those guys make.....sheez….
  21. I have 2 friends that are...I don't know how they do it honestly.
  22. Well the cop has a terrible record...however...this all goes back to...comply with the officer and don't get shot...also...what in the hell was he thinking pulling forward or anywhere... I don't think he deserved to die but he definitely could have easily avoided his fate.
  23. my experience has been they are overall good but they do have their slip ups from time to time....I would highly suggest trying a different brand if you can find one for cheap just to rule that out.... S&W's are usually pretty much GTG in my experience.
  24. the lockable container is useful when going through places like Illinois....or when you have a reason to leave it in your car (i.e. non carry locations)….not required though in TN.
