  1. Cool so I got a year to save up for a SCAR-H....that gun will be Amazing. I love everything FN...cept for the FN40 as they have issues. Still wouldnt mind gettin a FN 45 though.
  2. Is the Scar really gonna be produced for civilian consumption?...seems like that rumors been floating for quite some time.
  3. Arent a lot of the newer firearms coming factory with a "recoil reducer" that is very similar to whats being sold. I am not saying these guys are legit, but might be something to look into. Anything that lessens felt recoil cant be a bad thing.
  4. Keep in mind people that Obama is not "just black"...hes mixed. Im not saying that means he cant be racist, but...remember where he comes from too. However, that being said...I dont like him, dont trust him, and will most definitely not vote for him. We should be more careful what we say here lest we start looking like those Ohio State Troopers ;-D
  5. I like my Saiga's....a LOT....just need to get to converting them. Heads up though if your wanting one...the prices seem to be continually going up on them. As far as Saiga 12's go they still seem really hard to get a hold of so if you run across one at a decent price you should snap it up quick. FWIW
  6. Yeah I keep thinking a Tantal will be my next rifle purchase.....need to sell more vehicles....
  7. My Father quit after smoking for 20 years. He just finally up and went cold turkey. So far he has not smoked in a year and a half. He also had to give up drinking though because he couldnt do one without the other. One of my friends she quit cold turkey and has been good for 6 mos so far.
  8. My normal carry is my 638 J-Frame I picked up from the Rabbi. Why: It fits in my pocket and conceals easily (looks like a big wallet in the nemesis holster). Doesnt weigh too much so its not uncomfortable. Ammo used: 135gr Speer Gold Dot +P Short Barrel Sometimes just to make things interesting I will throw on the shoulder holster and strap in the Beretta 92fs, Sig 229, or FN FiveSeven Cept for the FiveSeven they also get Gold Dots...the FiveSeven gets SS192
  9. At that price you could probably make some money on it if your patient.
  10. haha thats pretty good...either no one else finds it amusing...or they are all wore helmets to school.
  11. Lol yeah they apologized for the ad. In vodka Rain is really good (cheap too) and i like Belvedere. Alas I dont drink too much Vodka since it put me in a hospital in my younger days. Im more of a Jack, Crown, and Captain man now...the clear liquors and me still dont get along.
  12. My Friends, Today, I had the privilege to hear from General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker on the current state of the war in Iraq and the progress that has been made there. We owe these two patriotic Americans a debt of gratitude for their selfless service to our country. At the beginning of last year, we were engaged in a great debate about what to do in Iraq. Four years of mismanaged war had brought us almost to the point of no return. Sectarian violence in Iraq was spiraling out of control, life had become a struggle for survival, and a full-scale civil war seemed almost unavoidable. Al Qaeda in Iraq was on the offensive and entire Iraqi provinces were under the control of extremists. However, rather than retreat from Iraq and face the terrible consequences that would ensue, we chose to change strategies and turn things around. I was proud to be an outspoken advocate for this change in strategy and endured much criticism from members of both parties. As I've said time and time again, I'd rather lose a campaign than lose a war. "Never despair," Winston Churchill once said. And we did not despair. We were tested, and we rose to the challenge. Some political leaders close their eyes to the progress that the surge has made possible, and want only to argue about the past. But the question for the next president is not about the past, but about the future and how to secure it. While the job of bringing security to Iraq is not finished - as the recent fighting in Basra and elsewhere vividly demonstrated - we are no longer staring into the abyss of defeat, and we can now look ahead to the genuine prospect of success. Success - the establishment of a peaceful, stable, prosperous, democratic state that poses no threat to its neighbors and contributes to the defeat of terrorists - this success is within reach. Should the United States choose to withdraw from Iraq as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama wish to do; before adequate security is established, we will exchange for this victory a defeat that is terrible and long lasting. Al Qaeda in Iraq would proclaim victory and increase its efforts to provoke sectarian tensions, pushing for a full scale civil war that could descend into genocide and destabilize the Middle East. Iraq would become a failed state that could become a haven for terrorists to train and plan their operations. We cannot allow this to happen. The American people deserve the truth from their leaders. Doing the right thing in the heat of a political campaign is not always the easiest thing. But when 4,000 Americans have given their lives so that America does not suffer the worst consequences of our failure in Iraq, it is a necessary thing. In such a grave matter, we must put the nation's interests before our own ambitions. My opponents' calls for an immediate withdraw, regardless of the consequences, is a reckless and dangerous move that would threaten the long term security of our country. Leadership is not about bowing to the political pressures, it is about thinking through the consequences and having the experience and judgment to make the tough decisions. Senators Clinton and Obama will surely echo the sentiments of their extreme liberal supporters and call for a pre-emptive withdrawal from Iraq. The American people deserve better. I encourage both candidates to move beyond empty and destructive rhetoric and elevate the debate to a level that the country deserves. There are tough decisions ahead and America deserves leaders that are up to the challenge. As president, I will ensure that our troops come home victorious in this war that is part of the larger struggle against radical Islamic extremism and will continue to make keeping our nation secure my highest priority. Sincerely, John McCain P.S. - Please join me by signing this petition today, calling on Senators Clinton and Obama to support our troops on the ground and the mission they are carrying out. 13. Ever notice that W. VA is the hot setting for "horror" movies. Wrong Turn and Silent Hill to name a few. Im surprised you can open carry without a HCP.
  14. I got pulled over in Georgia at 2am when I was going to NOPI last year. 80 in a 60 in my Supra. Gave the cop my sad story about getting lost because the idiots I was following didnt really know where they were going and telling him how tired I was. Let him know I had a firearm in the hatch he said "cool" told me to slow it down and have a good night. No ticket. Most of the LEO's I have run into have been very professional and courteous as long as I was too.
  15. They both sound great...put them both up for sale and whichever doesnt sell keep it. From your "Ben Franklin Close" it looks like you would really rather sell the Elite so you can have a better carry weapon and more cash in hand.
  16. How bout a CPO sig....uber reliability and amazing accuracy
  17. His name was Wong...I bet my asian brother had some Dragunovs and AKs ;-D Yeah making threats over the internet is none too bright....much better to do it in person. "A good way to threaten somebody is to light a stick of dynamite. Then you call the guy and hold the burning fuse up to the phone. 'Hear that?' you say, 'That's dynamite, baby." -Jack Handy
  18. J-Frame it! :-D I used to carry my Beretta 92 or my FN 57 or the Sig 229, etc.... Now I have seen the light (thanks Rabbi). 638 J-Frame in my Desantis Nemisis Holster...so far no one(even my co-workers) even notices I am carrying which is how I like it.
  19. Damn that is cheap...cheap cheap.
  20. You could try them again, but if they are out of the way...I would go elsewhere. No need to go out of your way for poor service.
  21. What about a Bersa CC? Not small enough to qualify?
