Never worn IWB...im really anti-leather....couldnt give you a really good reason why. I put in a bid on that holster with 2 mag clips on GB...hopefully I will like it....cant be worse then Mexican Carry ;-D

Saigas are awesome I have a 7.62x39 and a .308 Still havent gotten around to converting either. Got the 7.62 zero'd in with an ACOG and its pretty much dead on accurate.

Hmm...could mount a side saddle inside the truck and rig up something to hold the shottie where I could still get out my groceries :-D That way the ammo would be seperated. Could also stack the shottie 2 slugs and then buck....if you miss with the slugs you wont miss with the buck. Any one know why carrying a loaded pistol is ok, but a rifle or shotgun is not? And yes I have an HCP. Mike: Was your friend hit in the chest I take it? I guess the guy only shot once? He really is lucky.

Thinking about carrying an IWB in addition to my pocketed J-Frame. Most likely choice for carry would be my Sig 229 .40 just cause its so reliable and not enormous like my Beretta 92...second choice to carry would be my Witness .45 Carry since I finally got all the kinks worked out. Anyone have recommendations on the IWB holsters that would work well with either and be comfortable since im in and out of cars all day.

Time for a CZ 52 party! ;-D Since we are all so close by. We should go out somewhere with some "hard" targets and do penetration tests. I know it will completely bust through a computer hard drive lol. My CZ is pretty much immaculate and un refinished so I only shoot the "high dollar" S & B through her. Seems like i had heard somewhere (not wikipedia ) that due to its monstrous amount of KE if one was shot with a .50AE and wearing a bulletproof vest even if the vest stopped the bullet the energy transfer would be so immense that you would still die from massive internal bleeding. Dont know what made me think about that...maybe my senseless lust for a .50 Desert Eagle. Great articles and info btw....heres a thought. I thought about slugs, but think that would not be a very good "crowd" control round...i can use my pistol for that kind of stuff. They have the Rhodesian Jungle that is bb's and buck...i like the .65 ball mixed in the Centurion though for knockdown power (i.e. 300+lb problems) Might have to do a range report ;-D

So I have been trolling around for some SHTF Self Defense shottie ammuntion probably gonna start carrying the 500 in the trunk.
