  1. A proper mullet need not be taxi-dermed just vacuum sealed. The gel is a non-issue because a proper mullet is not over-gel'd Just gel'd enough to add shimmer not grease. go to www.ratemymullet.com for more pointers and info.
  2. Hellz yeah...im not a big Glock fan but next to a Beretta 93r thats my favorite machine pistol....does it have an Estended on it?
  3. I went ahead and got this for the extra $30.00 Thought it would make for better defensive ammo if I had to use it as such. http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/product_info.php?pName=500rds-40-sw-federal-le-reclassified-135gr-hst-hp-ammo&cName=40-sw-hollow-point-ammo I also picked up some Centurion HD Ammo and some Low Recoil Nickel Plated Fiocchi 00 Buck :-D
  4. Is your Glock 19 FA or did you just post a picture of it for ****s and Giggles??
  5. Im leanin towards his fault; not FN's since I have never heard of one ka-boomin with factory ammo. I can absolutely blaze away with this gun and not have one FTF or FTE.
  6. It seems like 229's are all over the map these days. I have seen them from $500-850 for standard DA/SA models
  7. Not that I can see...it is very strange....I have pretty much disassembled the thing to get a better look and it didnt help...I wonder If I can get her back together lol.
  8. Quite long...definitely a full size. Type in mossberg 500at on gunbroker and you will see what I got to work with. Edit: before the dowel came out it made a rattling noise in the tube...I dont hear any more rattles.
  9. Oh lol...I was under the impression it happened to you. I have not seen this problem happen to anyone else So Carry Away is what I say ;-D
  10. I wonder if this has been corrected on the USG as thats what I have. Might be a possible reason the IOM was discontinued....I love mine...this is some depressing news...Im glad your alright. have you contacted FN yet? You might want to talk to Bob Ailes If im doing this correctly I would say absolute maximum an 1/8 in on my USG
  11. Thank you oh wise one.....so...anyone have ideas on why she will only take 3 + 1 with the dowel out? Before the dowel fell out it felt like it had a spring or tension in it when I loaded the shells...now it just feels like an empty tube with no tension...yet wont hold more then 3 +1
  12. Yeah 2 3/4 Federal Field and Target from Wally World...the one I have has walnut wood stock and it says 500AT Looks pretty old I think it might be the Model 500 High Rib Trap as it had a 28in Vent Rib Barrel so I wonder if that has something to do with it only holding 4 shells. As far as I can tell theres no easy way to get the stock off either...might have to put this one out to pasture....any ideas? The original barrel is a 28in Modified Choke
  13. ARGHHHH...the plastic dowel that came out was at least 6in long but the dang thing will now only hold 3 + 1 Any help appreciated..... Edit: you still da man verbal.... :-D
  14. "All Mossberg models including the 835, 535, 500, 505 and 590 are shipped with a wooden dowel located in the tube magazine. This is to comply with U.S. migratory bird laws. This dowel reduces and regulates the number of shells that can be loaded in the gun. This can be removed by taking off the barrel and pointing the shotgun downward and shaking it back and forth lightly until the dowel falls out." Verbal you da man! Thanks for the quick help and info....I cant believe this ancient gun still had the dowel in it...big orange looking thing...just dropped right out.
  15. Oh no a non-white man with an AK....he must be a gang-banger! LOL...yeah he sounds like a retard but his video is semi-informative and hes probably not a criminal since hes putting his face in the video. I think that man owning a fully is the least of your worries. Keep an open mind people
  16. Im new to shotguns and got an old beat up mossy 500 that im working on turning into a HD gun. I finally loaded the gun today and found that it would only hold 1 in the chamber and 2 in the tube Is this normal or is there a plug that can be pulled out/removed to increase capacity. I was under the impression a factory mossberg 500 would hold 4+1 shells. Any help/info appreciated. Instructions on how to modify would also be helpful if that is a possibility. thanks again guys/girls!
  17. No pics, but picked up a 442, Don Hume Holster, HKS Speedloader, 511 Range Bag (its OH SO SWEET), and got to fondle my AOW Remington 870 (damn the ATF).
  18. Haha...and the little devil on his shoulder whispered "buy it, buyyyyy...it"
  19. Well we know who has the brains in the family (hint...its the one holding the J-frame)

  22. If your stockpiling make sure you put some kind of dessicant in the cans to keep moisture at bay.
  23. I decree that titles such as these are no longer allowed.
